print envelopes with hp deskjet 3520

Impression of the envelope is not consistent. Tray guides align the envelope in the middle. But the actual print is aligned to the right side of the status bar (bottom of a full page of size, if it is inserted instead of an envelope)

Solved the problem.

    Hey rhea57,

If you can print from other programs and the same settings do not work in these 2 programs, then the problem may be a driver conflict.  I would advise trying to print in draft mode to attempt to bypass the sensors of paper or page in a different driver such as the HP Deskjet 9800 driver.

  • You print envelopes with HP LaserJet CP1525nw color

I tried to print envelopes on our printer above.  My document is in Word is formatted accordingly for a #10 business envelope

Under the terms of the HP help function, I found the info on how to set up my document print options, then it would print correctly.

The first envelope printed on the side of Rabat; I have reloaded in Tray 1 and was ready.

The second envelope printed with success so I thought that I understood.  So, I loaded the tray paper with 5 envelopes, hoping to print them massively.  I couldn't get it work when I tried to print 4 at a time.  I got a "Paper jam in tray 2" error and I was not yet using tray 2.  I erased the 'problem' and AN envelope printed with success, then I got the same error message.

I had 2 envelopes more printed this way, but every time I got the same error message, erasing the machine and 1 printed envelope.

Frustrated, I cancelled the multiple print job and tried to print envelopes one by one.  Now it does not at all even if I delete the phantom paper jam every time.

Can anyone help with this?  It makes me nutty.

Background info: my husband (network engineer) install the printer.  I have over 20 years of experience in processing and usually have good results with appearing on printing problems.  It left me speechless!

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Dianne

The CP1525 allows you to print envelopes. There are two ferries, which can be used. I will describe using only the lower tray. Normally, this tray is used for standard paper.  To use the letter envelopes, you must remove the tray and then make some changes. Remove all paper. There are supporters of blue color paper. Two are used for the width of paper. Move the cursor to the Center so that it will load the envelope with the top to the left. Put the envelope with the printable side upward and the top to the left. Slide the blue paper holders so that they touch the top and bottom. Then push the envelope completely backwards and then move the holder unique blue paper in the front to make it against the envelope. You're ready to print as much as the printer.

I select the printer properties. I indicate that I am printing an envelope. I had also to indicate the landscape. I also had to move the appropriate print areas where I want to be. Then I added my address and the address to where they're going. I'm not sure that I have everything but it should work well.

I only did this, but you can use two trays with one who holds a number of pages and the other for a certain number of envelopes.

I understand when the printing envelopes printing looks dirty and is repeated printing of text below.

Make sure you change the paper size of the application you are printing from and then assign the printer driver envelopes.

In the software, select the option print.
Select the appropriate printer name, and then click Properties or preferences.
    Select the paper/quality tab.
Paper size, make sure it is selected on the correct size.
Paper type, set it to envelopes.

    Then try and print again.

  • HP Deskjet 2540: Wireless printing problems with HP Deskjet 2540

    Hi all

I have a problem with a printer HP Deskjet 2540 - it prints if I connected a USB cable; However, he refuses to print if I try to print wireless.

I had initially solved this problem when I went into system preferences > printers and Scanners and noticed two 2540 Deskjet series icons in a window titled 'Printers '. I ended up removing one of these icons and set it as a default, which temporarily seems to solve my problem. Now, I see two icons back in the "Printers" menu and my printer refuses to print over my wireless connection.

My printer is connected to my internet connection so I don't think there is a problem here - I also recently installed the software for this printer to make sure it wasn't some kind of driver issue; However, it doesn't give me the permanent solution, that I'm looking.

Any advice? My operating system is OS X Version 10.9.5

    Hey @love2dance,

Please come back to me and let me know what you have tried.  I found an article by HP which has a more in-depth approach to troubleshooting your network configuration.  Click on the title of the article and start of Solution 2 and work your way down until finish you setting up your printer successfully:

  • How to print envelopes with my 6510 with my mac

I use a Mac desktop computer and print envelopes A1, A2 and A10.  How can I do this

    Can it be done?

    Help

    Naniofsix

Yes, it is possible.  Depending on which app you use, you must specify the application what is the size of the paper.  This is usually done in file > layout or similar.

Once set, when you are ready to print, remove the paper from the printer and insert the envelope using the directions in the paper tray.

  • Print envelopes with Deskjet 6700

The question does not load envelopes, nor is it by selecting the paper size in the print preferences.  I use windows 7 and word 2003.  Everything is updated and has worked with other printers.  The difference with the 6700 is that it focuses the envelopes in the tray.  When it prints, it acts as the envelope is located on the right side of the status bar and the text begins to halfway to the bottom of the envelope.  I noticed there is no sensors in the 6700 to locate the arms of the tray and I noticed that the envelopes are centered because the feed rollers are at the Center.

How can I get the printer drivers to recognize the little paper is centered in the bin and not on the right?

There is a setting in the Word software that implements the print data to the correct feeding of the envelope.  You can choose from several different styles of food options to ensure a correct print quality.  I don't have a copy of Word 2003, but I do not have Word 2010.  The options are the same, in Word 2003, but the method of access to them may be different.

I'll give you an image of the settings that I have described below to make it easier to find in Word 2003.

    Hello!

I'm having a problem to reconnect my printer on the wireless network. I unplugged for a few days and now it won't connect to the wireless network. I get the following message on the small screen on the IP of the printer: not connected SSID:N / A. I hope you can help me solve this problem.

Hi @Mina85 and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you are having connectivity problems.  I would try to help!

I recommend you to perform a power reset.   Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I also suggest this document on Center of troubleshooting wireless printing.
