print HP deskjet d 1560 area questions

Hello

I would like to know what is the minimum distance from the bottom edge of the page that the HP Deskjet D1560 can proceed with printing in a MS Word Document.

I checked with the HP Deskjet D1560 printer in the troubleshooting section manual; However it does not seem to be information specifically related to the printing area (!), unless she was spotted upward under a different title.

The problem I have is that the foot of page edited in Word - default - format affects 1.29 cm, minimum bottom margin so that to be able to print the entire footer, I would need to display text in the footer above the 1.29 cm margin. While trying to set a value less than the less than 1.29 cm margin, the following message appears: "one or more margins are set beyond the printable area of the page. Choose the fix button to increase the appropriate margins ". After clicking the Fix button, automatically sets the bottom margin back to 1.29 cm, which gives to think that this is the minimum distance that the printer can actually start to print the lower edge, given of course adjustment under File/Page/Layout/from edge layout: 0 mm (if this value is increased, the bottom margin will increase accordingly).

Is this the case? Your comments/suggestions will be much appreciated.

Additional information: Windows Vista/32-bit, no windows, no change error message.

Kind regards

M4R3KHP

Hi M4R3KHP,

The print margins specification appears on the specifications below:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01371151

As I can see, the low minimum margin is 0.50 mm (1.27 cm) your properties desired simply unresponsive so the features of the product.

Hope that clarifies your question, well

    Hello

The technical specifications list the print margins, the printer may not exceed the margins you can find listed in the paper handling > print margins:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-DeskJet-ink-advantage-1510-all-in-one-printer-series/5285089/model/5285090/document/c03775352/

As you can see below in the section of handling paper, borderless printing is not supported for the printer:

    http://WWW8.HP.com/emea_middle_east/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?OID=5385210&JumpID=oc_r1002_emea_middle_easten_c-001_r0001#! tab = specifications

This is not a defect, these are the limits of the printer that you can find listed by its specifications.

  • Printer HP Deskjet 3050 a: decrease the size of the font in Deskjet 5030

I'm changing the font size to a smaller size on a printer HP Deskjet 3050 has J611g.  My printer was printing to the appropriate size.  Suddenly, on a project he printed normall until it came to the last page, the date on which the font size became so great that only 1 or 2 letters would take on the page.  The next time I tried, each page was so great that only a few letters were on the page.  I don't know if I accidentally hit something or changed a setting that I should not have done, but I have no idea how to make to make it smaller.

I tried Googling with the search term: how to change the size of the font on the printer HP Deskjet 305 a.  Almost all terms had to do with the increase in the size of the font.  I have quoted me a procedure on the eHow site, but it does not seem to apply to this particular model.

I also tried to search the HP website problems.  Again, it would either mean that no search term

has been found or each question had to do with the increase in font size.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have an important document to print, and I already spent two hours trying to solve this problem.  With my luck, it will prove to be something simple!

Sorry only you know which software you use to print. When you select PRINT, this is the printer control software. You need to know how to find the font size and decrease and make sure that you are not in any type of "zoom" mode.

  • Impossible to copy and scan on all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet F4180.

I can't make a copy and scan on the surface of the glass of my printer HP deskjet F4180 all-in-one. The printer says: error in the copy menu and seeing red flashes on color and black. However, I am able to print from my laptop and a pop-up message would be in my laptop showing the ink cartridges (black and color) are placed incorrectly. Check the ink cartridges, both are in their right place and broken up. Need help... Please.

I found this document which decodes what mean flashing lights.  There are a lot of different codes described, but I found a heading "question: one or two of the lights blink check print cartridge" which seems to be what's going on your printer.  Basically it's saying that the cartridges are out of alignment or defective.  If the document is not help clarify, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

  • Computer Vista will not print to Deskjet 930c on home network

Our three computers (Vista is A, B, and C are XP) are connected to a wired network of private home.  Computer A has a Canon printer that is shared and all 3 computers can print to that very well.  Recently, we re-gasket a printer HP DeskJet 930C to computer B (via USB) and shared.  Computers, B and C can be printed on the HP very well.

But, even if A computer can see the printer, it will not print.  He seems to accept the print command and sometimes a dialog box flashes on and so quickly as it cannot be read, but nothing prints.

I worked through the Microsoft article "File and sharing printers in Windows Vista" at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspx#mainSection and you don't see anything that solves the problem.  I ran the doctor of printing & scanning HP and who wrote the 930C is installed but not connected.  According to the website of HP, Vista has the correct driver.  I have uninstalled and installed the printer from computer A, but it still does not work.

So I called HP Support, and they said that I had done all the right things, and "it must be a registry problem.  This seems unlikely to me, and I don't know where to look in the registry.

    Any ideas or solutions?

    Hello

Windows XP sharing can be done automatically in XP or operating systems, XP does not host the drivers for the newer Vista operating systems and so you will have problems with some models.

To manually add the shared printer, follow these steps:

    1. install the printer locally in following second method: connecting the cable in parallel below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01655752

    2. go into your PC host (computer B), right click my computer and select Properties.

Find the name of computer on this screen.

    3. go in Control Panel > printers and faxes.

Right-click on the printer and select Properties.

Open the tab end hand note the share name

Note: I would say keeping the name of sharing as simple as possible (e.g., 930C)

    4. go to your Vista machine and open Control Panel > printers.

Click with the right button on the 930c configured in step 1 and select Properties.

    Open the Ports tab.

    Click Add a new port.

In this list, select Local Port.

Set the local port in the form of \\Computer B Name\Printer share name (for example \\PC-P\930c).

Confirm the changes and check any change.

If you have still any question, I would say that the printer is connected to the Vista machine, then share it with the XP PC and check for any changes that should run more easily from my experience.

  • Printer HP Deskjet 980cxi, drivers W7

For 3 windows 7 pc that needs to be in a special issue separate LAN I want to install the most recent drivers for the old but still work printer HP Deskjet 980cxi .

The only way to do that seems to be online. but these PCs are not accepted on the internet due to specific restrictions. How can I download and install the correct drivers with use of a usb key?

    Hello ArnoldJan,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.

Unfortunately for the Windows 7 operating system, there is no software available that could even be downloaded and moved. This printer is installed through the Windows updates (installation of the printer software in Windows 7 for a USB cable connection), which means that these computers requiring an Internet connection.

If you can somehow push updates, this can work. Other wise, there may be a work around, but I am not sure it will work.

You can try the base plug & play, to see if the computer recognizes the printer itself. If it isn't then you will need a driver. You can then go to start > device/printers > add a printer > choose existing port (must list what the printers trendy) > select HP in the left panel, then check if the 980 is displayed on the right. If it is not try the Deskjet 9800 (it's a generic driver). It would be the only work around for not going online.

I hope that works and is useful for you. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

    Any help

Unfortunately, after reading the manual (see below) and check the connectivity of this unit, you need to have a router. While some of our printers are supported wireless direct, as shown above, it is a lower end model and does not support this feature.

Hello @LisaFeytheand welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I understand that you are having connectivity problems. I would like to help!

I recommend your computer off, unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet and remove the power of your router for 60 seconds.

After 60 seconds, reconnect the router.  Once the router has started broadcasting, reconnect the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

After that the printer is on, re-run Setup wireless.

  • DeskJet 3511: Samsung Note Pro is no longer print to Deskjet 3511

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 which usually printed using my Deskjet 3511 without problem when I put in place through my computer when I got it. Well my office no longer works, and for six months thereafter, I was still able to print directly from my tablet to the printer directly with printing applications or using direct wifi. However, a couple of weeks, Time Warner had an internet outage in my area who, for some reason, reset the name I had on my wifi access. Suffice it to say since I was not able to print either, I tried with the cloud of samsung impression and the HP ePrint apps but nothing helped. I was hoping that someone else would be able to give me an idea or suggestion as to what I could do to continue to print before buying a new desktop computer... Thanks for all the ideas!

Well, the following can be done:

    1. On the printer, click the wireless bottom right of the screen.
    2. Scroll to Direct wireless and press OK.
    3. Select (No Security) and press OK.
    4. Make sure that your Android is not set automatically connect to other networks or your data plan if it detects an internet connection.
    5. In your Android settings, you should see a network with a name similar to the HP Print XX Deskjet 3510 series. To connect to this network.
    6. In your browser bar type in 192.168.223.1 address and click OK.
    7. Click the network tab.
    8. Click Network on the left.
    9. On the left you should see an option with a name similar to the wireless configuration wizard. A click on it and follow the prompts to add your printer to your wireless network.

Please let me know if this allows you to connect to your network. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Printing with Deskjet 1010

I've been running my 1010 Deskjet for several months; Windows XP, all updates.
For some reason, after replacing ink recently, I had a lot of printing problems; PDF files have been incredibly slow, sometimes printing multiple pages before suddenly deciding to spit just to start a blank page and occasionally a half page of printing before you spit out the rest.
It was often impossible, requiring a reboot to try to cancel the current print jobs.
I uninstalled the software, reinstalled the base driver and managed to get some pages done before becoming again the white pages.
    Any ideas?

    Hey @WombatBob,

Thanks for getting back to me regarding this printing problem.

I don't think that there is a problem with your print spooler. If that were the case, no program would be able to print to your product. As you said, you are able to print with Word and you are just having a problem with PDF files.

    You print through Adobe PDFs?

If so, you can try to uninstall and reinstall your Adobe Reader program.

    Adobe Reader

Should this not solve your problem, I think you may have a driver conflict. To resolve this problem, you can load another driver of your printer to see if it prints all types of files correctly.

    How to add another driver:

    1. Click on the Start menu and select Printers and faxes
    2. In the printers and Faxes folder, right click on your HP Deskjet 1010 and left click on Properties
    3. Left click on the Advanced tab
    4. Left-click on new driver
    5. When the new window driver opens just hit 'next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right.
    6. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left
    7. DeskJet 990c select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 990c appears only to select "Windows Update" at the bottom left and once the update has been completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 990c.
    8. After that selection Deskjet 990c hit next complete the new driver Wizard
    9. The title of the Properties window, select 'apply' but do not hit OK
    10. Select the general tab
    11. Rename your printer HP Deskjet 1010 to
    12. Click OK

Once the driver is added in, try to print a PDF file and see how it goes.

I look forward to hear from you. Fingers crossed!
