    Hello

    What browser do you use?

If you use Internet Explorer, you can enable the Access Manager. An Access Manager allows you to control Internet content types that can be played on your computer.

    a. click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'
    b. in the Internet Options dialog box, click the "Content" tab and then click on the button "activate".
    (c) in this window, click each category and use the slider to set the desired level.

Try to prevent others from watching an e-mail in Windows Mail

    Hi wfd411,

If your user account is accessible by other users, they can access the Windows Mail account as well.

I suggest to put an administrative password on your user account and create a standard account for other users.

  • process of splwow64.exe which prevents other users from printing

Windows 2008 server 64-bit - on remote desktop, printing of the 32-bit application as a "modular" user, the splwow64.exe process opens and the job is printed application.  Once the splwow64.exe process opens for the user "modular", logging as long as another user to the 'mistest' application, the user cannot print from the 32-bit application.  Only when I end the splwow64.exe for the "modular" user process the user "mistest" will be able to print and then the splwow64.exe process left to the user "mistest".

I found the Microsoft Article 2513330 and implemented the splwow64.exe registry key with a value of 0 in HEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Sysprocs and then restarted the server.

The registry setting has not solved the problem - the splwow64.exe process remains still open.  Microsoft has a solution to automatically close the splwow64.exe process after the print job is finished?

    Thank you

  • How to prevent other sites to add links to my pages downloaded when I view in the browser?

I have download (Dreamweaver) changed pages via CuteFTP to Seanic server. When I view pages using Firefox, links are "inserted" in keywords so that when I mouse-over, a small window pops up to an unknown site with an ad related using keywords. When I opened my page even in Internet Explorer, there is no link of 'mystery' appearing on the pages. What can I do to fix this problem?

Hello cathyvers, this looks like a problem maybe caused by adware/malware on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from here and do a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search

  • How to prevent others to jump out of my computer at home, my computer is not secure. My neighbors are using my internet

How can I change my private computer to keep other form jump out of my internet

    Hello

Check with your router manufacturer and their forums because they usually have great information.
Set up a good password for the router and use WPA/WPA2 security.

Better to use WPA/WPA2 security if they are available and you can hide the SSID that will help
help others to see the network (note on some routers more hide the SSID)
causes of connection problems and if they find out the name he is more useful).

  • Crashes indexing service (Windows Service) - prevents other applications to launch

Running Vista Ultimate on a PC HP Media Center with 4 GB of memory, Intel Core 2 processor.

Last week, Outlook 2007 stopped launching without error.  It crashes with the splash screen and the outline of the visible main window.  Adobe Lightroom 2.6 order launch, to provide a "Server busy" dialog box, where none of the buttons seem to do anything.

Looking across several Microsoft and Adobe forums led me to the Windows Search indexing service.  Indexation in the Panel applet open and displays the message 'Attempt to retrieve indexing status' and never changed.

I tried to stop the Windows Search service, but it would not stop - return an error that said that he had not been able to stop the service within the time limit.

Then I tried disabling the service, restart the PC and everything worked as it should, but when I start Outlook it gives me a warning message about the indexing service is disabled.

Restarting the service again once not Outlook and Lightroom launched - once again.

So, how can I get the indexing service to perform again, without harming my ability to run other applications?

    The safest way: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/gp/windows_search
The safe way (probably) - it is possible that one of the search filters is causing the problem. You can use this program for the file extensions list associated with filters that uses Windows Search. You can compare the list of filters with an "almost clean installation of Windows Vista SP2" (check here). You can remove the extensions for non-Microsoft programs.
The dangerous path - try the below at your own risk (tested very limited on Virtual PC, it seems to work, but I can't tell if he does not break anything).
Set the startup type for the service Windows Search on "Disabled" and reboot. After the reboot, open administrator command prompt (right click on command prompt icon and choose 'Run as administrator'). Enter rmdir /S /Q %programdata%\Microsoft\Search in the command prompt window (this removes the folder where, by default, Windows Search stores its files). Once you do this, set the service startup type to "Automatic" Windows search and start the service. Now, he may not start the first time you do it. In this case try again.

  • Update Windows 10 preventing other updates of window - Windows 7

At the end of the summer, I allowed Windows 10 installation on my PC under Windows 7 64-bit.   After a few days, I decided to go back to Windows 7, as some of my older applications would not work with Windows 10.  Unfortunately, now I can not perform the updates of windows without reinstalling Windows 10.  I now have more than 80 updates to perform, but when I check on all updates and click OK, he wants 10 Windows installed first.

I deleted all the updates KB suggested that are associated with Windows 10, but in the update from Windows update Windows 10 is still there.

I've seen some other comments related this same question, but the suggested solutions don't seem to work.

I would like to be able to install updates without installing Windows 10.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thank you

  • An error in the initializer of taskflow prevent other navigation

    Hello world

Let's say I have a BTF and on this, there are two JSFF and another BTF. The two JSFF have a navigation button to access the other and one of them has a navigation button to go to the BTF. When I click on the button that makes the navigation for the other BTF, if an error occurs during the initializer of workflow, I can't do more navigation. I stay on the same page, the error is displayed in an alert box, and if I click on the navigation button to go to the other page, nothing happens.

Looks like I need to reset or do something special, if an error occurs during a taskflow initializer. Does anyone have an idea?

    Thank you

    Guillaume

    I have it!

I added in my model of taskflow BTF, in addition to the default exception handler, a return taskflow and an action "doReturnFromException" and in my ExceptionBean, I check if the exception is an instanceof ActivityLogicException and begins with ADFC-06015, if yes, I do "doReturnFromException" navigation and it does the trick!

+ This section allows you to adjust the level of access rights with other users to view and update process queries that are started by users in a specific profile. Display and update rights can be changed of owner, all, or none. The default value allows process asks to be read by all and updated only by the owner. If you view by owner, no one else can view the status of the process in process monitor. Make the necessary changes to user rights. +
