• HP Laserjet Pro 200 m251nw: I've got streaks printing on laserjet 200.

  All of a sudden, I have red streaks, printing on the right side of my documents. I tried using the cleaning page and it doesn't seem to help. I also have small black dots in various parts of the document which keep appearing on my documents. Cleaning that does not either.

  It seems to be a residue of red on the sponge roll just before the paper out of the printer. How can we clean this roller or must it be replaced to correct? I used my vacuumn to try to clean it up, but it doesn't do any good.

  I understand that you have a problem of magenta print quality printing of your color HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw of the printer. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Thanks for the troubleshooting steps you have already tried before reaching out for support, including.

  On this model of printer there no zones in the product that you can clean it manually. The only method supported this printer paper path cleaning and area of the cartridge is running the cleaning page. You may need to run the cleaning a few times page to fix this.

  Sometimes red streaks can be caused by a low toner cartridge. When toner is low, it can gather in some areas inside the cartridge and create a "streak". I can have you hold the cartridge by the sides and shake it gently from left to right to redistribute the toner. Once the cartridge has been shaken, reinstall the cartridge. Once your cartridge is re-installed, please test print to see if the problem of dragging is still happening.

  If the problem persists you can please click here for the steps of quality supported by your printer. "Once the document of support opens please run through the steps to"check toner cartridge status"", "make the diagnosis of additional print quality" and "inspect the drum unit for damage".

  If the quality issue persists you may need to try a new HP authentic to verify whether this problem is caused by a magenta cartridge faulty cartridge or the printer.

  The black dots that you see are often caused by a dirty paper path roller or fuser on your printer number. As mentioned previously, the only way to solve a dirty paper path would be to run several pages of cleaning. A defective fuser unit would lead to a replacement of the entire unit.

A big HUGE machine so far, one small complaint... whenever I have do something or something (ie: plan a printout of the spreadsheet on an app) Springs this page full color printing. I don't want to lose my ink telling me I just do what I know already! Can I disable it somehow? Thanks in advance!

I also checked the toner drums and they appear fine. Any help would be appreciated as I now seem to have a printer expensive usless

  I read your post and see that when printing now, the image looks as if someone has dribbled water down causing him the toners to face each other. I will definitely do my best to help you.

  You use Genuine HP Toner?
  What are the levels of toner?

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Run the printer calibration.
  On the configuration of the system key touch printer, print quality, color calibration calibrate now.

  Print a diagnostic Page to see if you have the same results. Trying to determine if it is a hardware or software problem.

  Go to Setup, reports, arrow down and select diagnostic report.

  

  I have a document with several steps to run a clean and check the settings of the printer driver.

  Troubleshooting print quality problems.

  Make sure the paper type is selected and no paper said.

  Check if the drum unit for damage:

  1. remove the cartridge of toner product and check that the tape has been removed.
  2. check the memory chip for damage.
  3 examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
  CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (Imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

  His fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.
  4. If you see the scratches, fingerprints, toner or other damage on the imaging drum, replace the toner.
  5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem is resolved.

  The test pages come out the same?

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see when you print pdf documents to your HP LaserJet Pro M251nw Color it prints with the footer moved all the way to the top.  If you print as an image only it remains where it requires.

  1. what program you are using to print PDF files from?

  2 have you tried to update the program?

  3. this happens in all programs or just one?

  If create a new Word document and I type the letters police 72, the letters do not print. If the font size is reduced to 48 it then prints. The new printer is connected to my laptop via USB.   Problems printing mode Mono of Apple iMac.

  Affecting the still B & W prints ONLY in color, despite selecing B & W in the framework on iMac in print.

  Have also tried to change parameter in the HP online portal - doesn'e seem to be a facility to select or clear the print in both modes.

  'Copy', black - print in B & W (so I know the printer is able to DO!)

  Does anyone have a solution for this please?

• Color HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw to print alignment

  Images and text color print out of alignment.

  The problem started the first day that we had the impression.  It took me a while to get into this diagnosis, but I tried the following:

  I tried to replace the (expensive) with new toner cartridges.  The problem is even with the original Starter cartridges.

  I tried a reset of the complete printer.

  I tried to let the printer disconnected from the power supply for 24 hours.

  I tried several features alignment in the printer menu.

  Print black only is fine.  All other colors do not align between them or with blacks.  Creates a kind of 3D - ish into effect.

  The quality of printers report displays all colors fine areprinting, but not aligned with each.

  I have included scans of part of a rainbow impression that illustrates the displacement as well as the quality report page.

• printing envelopes from A2 for LaserJet Pro 200

  Size that a2 is not listed in Word to print an A2 envelope. When I format the envelope on Word, and then try to pass A2 in the Menu print to Laser Jet 200, the return address does not print and send it to the address is located in the center of the envelope. The printer does not recognize the format of the paper for the envelope and I get a message of paper jam in the printer. Is there a procedure I'm not understanding on how to print the envelope?

• Color LaserJet Pro 200 M251 nw: unable to do manual duplex printing with Windows 10

  Using my prior desktop computer that ran from Windows 7, I had no difficulty to do manual duplex printing on my HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251 nw color.  However, having recently bought a new desktop computer running Windows 10, I have more two-sided printing option.  Instructions to Guide the user to http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02886939 are unnecessary because I cannot complete step 3, click Finish.  After completing the first two steps by clicking on file - print and then click Properties or preferences, I am not provided with an option to "print on both sides (manually)" as described in the User Guide.  How can I get manual double-sided printing capability on Windows 10?

  Usually when you have a driver problem, it is best to find the current driver on the HP website, disconnect the printer from your PC, remove the existing driver, and then install the current driver.

  Windows often installs drivers that do not support as many features as the downloadable driver.

• Mac OS x print duplex LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw

  I recently bought the HP LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw understand that I would be able to do manual duplex printing. However, after reviewing the instructions in the manual and try to understand through various blogs I can't always manually duplex.

  The instructions say that I'll be able to select manual duplex in the finishing menu under Print... However, there is no such menu for me on any program and the "double option" is grayed out. Please advise otherwise I might have to return the printer to find something that will work with printing recto verso or auto manual.

  I see by your post that you are unable to print double-sided on your Mac.

  Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Airprint driver could be installed instead of the printer driver. (usually by default, Airprint)

  Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen should display the name.

  If the name of the printer indicates Airprint, then it of the Apple drivers, remove it and add the name of the printer back in the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver might have to drop-down list to select the name of the printer to add a click.

  

  

  Now try and print both sides.

  On the file menu, click print .

  Open the final menu and click the Manual Duplex or open the Manual Duplex

  menu.

  Click the Manual Duplex check box and select a binding option.

  Click the print button. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window that appears on the computer

  screen before the battery of exit in Tray 1 to print the second half.

  If the problem persists, then download and install the printer driver to see if that will solve the problem.

  Printer HP v.2.16.1 for OS X drivers.

• no WiFi in the Laserjet pro 200 M276n option

  Hi all

  I have just purchase HP Laserjet Pro 200 color MFP M276n, I managed to install and print documents using the USB connection.

  However, the printer is equipped with WiFi option that let's you connect the printer to a wireless network, or print directly from a WiFi device (smartphone, laptop, etc.).

  The problem is, I can't turn on the WiFi option. In fact, there is no option on the control panel of the printer for wireless connections.

  The manual gearbox and hp.com site all indicate that this model has a wireless connectivity. Even when I turn on the printer, I can see that there is a small WiFi symbol that lights (blue) on the control panel of the printer, which indicates that the printer is equipped with WiFi connectivity. But the light goes off again after that the printer is on and I can't find a way to turn it on.

  The section of the overview of the specification document for the LaserJet Pro MFP color 200 M276n States:

  ""Set up and share anywhere in the desktop with Ethernet wireless and high connection".

  but this phrase is qualified with two links to notes; the second of these information States:

  "Wireless direct printing, HP Auto Connect Wireless and integrated wireless connectivity are only available on the HP LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw MFP color"

  If your model of "n" has no wireless capability; you need the model "nw".

  If I copy or print, and even though I changed all 4 toner cartridges, I still see the same exact image imposed on all printed documents, in the same place on the page.  It looks exactly like a piece of paper on the 1/4 "wide and 2" long, flattened and folded on itself.  I have a scan of a print that shows, but don't know how to get it in this post.  It does not show in a space on a page, but only when the ink hits to this place.

  It seems that there is a real piece of paper whose image is picked up every time.  It could be on the drum or another party?  How could I solve this problem?

  All of this tells me that the question is the transfer belt.  He saw many times.  You have probably a label or worse a tear in the belt that is done printing.  What happens is when a print job is sent to each toner establishes his portion of the image on the belt which moves from the back to the front and as the image on the belt gets to the rear it is transferred to the book by the transfer roller in the back cover.  Since the belt is the size of a sheet, that the fault only occurs on every other piece of paper.  If it is the material of the label or other foreign material adhered to the belt, the best option is to do a google search for the service manual and download.  Search instructions for the removal of the belt.  It is not an easy task.  If you try and there is material which adheres the belt that you will want to go to an art supply store, and you get a small container of a product call Bestine.  It is a rubber adhesive, remove the solvent.  Be very careful with the belt since traces or damage will be visible on the image.  If the belt is damaged you can buy replacement from many sources.  Good luck.
