• Photosmart more B210a no impression and the poor print quality options

  I have a Mac running osx10.9.4 and a connected wireless, B210a printer all-in-one. Everything works well until a recent update that removed all the printing options (color / gray scale / etc. of paper type and print quality)

  The last thing to print very well were some photos in July. Since then whenever I try to print, the black is so fake and colors too bright - almost as if she always strives to pring on photo paper. When we do a re alignment or own heads, prints in black as it should, but every other time, it is terrible. I am a independent and I occasionally print estimates out to customers... but I can't at the moment.

  My son has the same problem with the same printer of his macbook (unknown model / system information)

  Sorry to hear about the recent issues with the B210a Photosmart on Mac 10.9.4. The printer will copy without any quality problem?

  I would try the following on the Mac;

  1. Reset the printing on Mac system. (Mac OS x: how to reset the printing system)
  2. Repair disk permissions (ignore the statement about 10.7)
  3. Download and install this: v.2.16.1 for OS X HP printer drivers.
  4. Add the printer using print and scan from system preferences.

  Hi I just installed this printer on an operating system of Windows 7 32 bit, but on the quality of implementation page/impression of two tabs only page layout can be changed all options are greyed out it is deliberate to stop printing in draft print quality or quality options above that this has no sense here that I hadn't bought this printer now as she gobbles up ink and I can't change the print quality at first, I was disappointed that now I would never never buy another printer HP unless HP or someone can help you. Printer is brand new, right out of the box, but HP only support expensive paid as it has been manufactured since more than a year! How bad are only only he registered today for the first time!  Thumbs down for HP!

  Follow the instructions below.

  1. open devices and printer

  2. click on add a printer

  3. click Add a local printer

  4. from the use existing port, select the USB option and then click Next

  5. click the button of Windows Update to get all the support window 7 drivers updated

  6. once the update is complete. Click HP from the menu on the left, then select the printer Deskjet 990c in the right menu, and then click Next.

  7. follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation.

  Once you have the printer added 990c make sure it is the default printer, and then try to print using this driver for the Deskjet 3050 printer. I would like to know if you have the same problem?

• Cardstock Laser Jet Pro M252dw print quality

  I have a problem when printing on cardstock.  It is very well at the top of the page, but the background is blurry and it rubs off.  I also noticed a black ink on the back of the pages.

  The cardstock is compatible with a laser printer.

  I see that your problems with burrs on your HP Color LaserJet MFP M252dw Pro.   As you have noticed that there is ink on the back of the paper, I want you to remove the toner to inspect it. Check on there is ink on the drum, if you see ink on the drum, that the toner is probably leaking. If this is the case, contact HP.

  Otherwise, I would recommend that you try the steps in this guide:

  You use Genuine HP Toner?

  • How to identify genuine HP cartridges.

  Note: HP recommends you to use genuine HP cartridges. HP does not guarantee the quality or reliability of cartridges HP cartridges refilled HP. If you use genuine HP, the following cartridges no can not solve the problem.

  If you have a defective toner, it might be under warranty. To check the warranty on your ink supplies, go to hp.com/go/learnaboutsupplies, select your country/region, and then check the information of limited warranty for your supplies.

• print quality terrible ePrint

  I use the HP ePrint app for Android on Asus TF300T with

  HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw

  and even with 'high quality' option together, I am not able to print a decent PDF. Here is the difference in quality between ePrint app (left) and the same file printed hollow Google Cloud Print (right) with the same device. The paper on the left is barely readable... Thanks for any help!

• Changing CP1525nw print quality

  I am trying to print patterns of transfer to a piece of wood for carving. This printer is new to us and does not give me the option to select print quality, I want just like our great old P1000.

  It offers a choice of project better or better when you wanted to print something I can't find something like this on our new printer. I make sure I print the darkest possible lines so that I transfer the lines completely.

  The software supplied with this printer offers only "printing shortcuts" and I can't find any place to change the setting of the way it prints.

  Photos printed on our 7640 desire come out cloudy even if they were taken with a quality camera and displayed on the computer screen into bright colors. We have installed new ink cartridges and verified that the photo paper is loaded correctly. Are the only parameters that seem to affect the photo printing quality (normal selection or the best gives the same print quality) and "sharpen for printing" (checking and unchecking this box will give the same result). What other options are there to improve the photo print quality?

  I read about the problems of print quality, you're facing your craving and I wanted to burst to share my suggestions that should help you. See the link I posted for you below and try all the steps. If the quality does not improve, then dial the hotline to discuss replacement or the printer with them scoring. I'll leave the details below.

  I have seen your post on how your Deskjet 2540 prints a page of print quality every time that the printer is on, and also the page "use printer wireless without router" is printing.

  I'll start with the PQ page that prints at the start of the printer, as it is normally a sign of a hardware problem with the printer.

  Try to update the firmware on the printer. Here is the link to download and run the update using a USB connection to your Vista system: HP Deskjet 2540 series Firmware update

  Try a reset of the power to the printer and make sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help greatly.

  Press the power button to turn the product on.
  With the product, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
  Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  Wait at least 15 seconds.
  Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
  Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

  If the PQ page always print after you are done troubleshooting, try the steps outlined in this guide below. I looked at the steps that I see would take place in the tent for your specific problem and chose the steps following, Please do not take account of the actual title.

  An "Incompatible cartridge or"Missing cartridge"Error Message is displayed for HP Deskjet 1510, 2540 Deskjet, HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1510 and Deskjet Ink Advantage 2540 all-in-One Series Printer"

• Paper Type/quality option disappeared

  I started to install the printer roommates, but install did not work and I returned to my current Deskjet 950 running on OSX 10.5.8.  But NOW the paper Type/quality option disappeared.  Latest drivers downloaded, no help.  Unable to print in the draft, so waste.  Yet the impression install original disc, can I uninstall/reinstall?  Thank you.

  seems to have a very simple choice for the print settings in the printer properties. How do I change print quality of presetting of the premium for quality project that uses less ink per page?

  I don't need the full quality print every time and it is a waste of ink.

  Ditto paper waste: there is no setting for duplex printing automatic option?

  I don't have a Vista machine handy to check, but in general settings don't 'stick' in Windows if done from an application but do when made from the Printers folder.  Try to go into the printers, right click on the Deskjet 3050, folder select Printing Options, choose what you like draft mode, apply, OK.

• HP LaserJet 400 M401dw: Print quality suddenly change on specific devices

  I have three computers (iMac, Mac Mini, Macbook Pro) wireless network with my printer, more two iPads. All use the latest version of the software, 10.10.1 on Mac OS.

  1 when the impression of the Mac Mini, has been improved the Mavericks to Yosemite, print quality is perfect.

  2. in printing on other computers, purchased new in December 2014, the quality seems to be draft quality, with full areas hatched. These two devices originally produced normal quality prints. All were extinguished for two weeks at Christmas. The issue of quality appeared when the printer is turned on again today. The iPad also previously created normal print.

  3. when I print a page of test/demo on the printer itself, the quality seems to be the quality of the project, as shown above.

  I deleted and reloaded the drivers on the devices concerned without result.

  The version of the driver on the Mac Mini is 19.7

  The version of the driver on the other two aircraft and after re-installation, is 2

  I copied the HP folder it draws from the Mac Mini to the iMac, but no effect on the quality. Similarly, the soft of HP of the user library. I can't find the driver anywhere 19.7 version.

  If all the computers and tablets this effect I blame the printer, but the Mac Mini is producing normal impressions!

  The software had mysteriously turned on the option "Econoprint" of the printer. • LaserJet CP1215: Color CP1215 print quality - Windows 8.1

  Systematically print very dark colors.  I printed from Word, Adobe PDF viewer and Photoshop all with the same results.   I installed new cartridges and have installed the latest driver.  Since there is no available since Windows 8.1 Toolbox - have not found any way to print the configuration page - hold the results just RESUME button in the gree light of power is flashing but nothing prints.  It seems not to be possible to print a cleaning page.  I'm at a loss what to try to fix this.

  I have downloaded and run the HP print and Scan Doctor 4.6 and everything out OK, the test print that comes out seems OK for me but I don't know what it is supposed to look like.  The cyan block seems a little light.

  I see that you have problems with the dark printing. I'd love to help you.

  You can adjust the brightness in the application you are printing from, if this isn't a problem with the hardware with the printer.

  You use windows built in driver or did you download the Plug-and-Play drivers?

  HP Color LaserJet Plug-and-Play package.

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

  Solving print quality problems. Go to eight Solution: print a configuration page. Is it printed correctly then it would be software related. Let me know the results and how to print the configuration page. Please go well the steps contained in the document. Unfortunately, you'll skip the steps of the box tool.

  If the problem is still related software, you can continue with the following steps:

  Make sure that the correct paper type is selected in the print driver and he is not in default to unspecified.

  What kind of paper do you use?

  Print and Scan doctor, you may have the option in the upper part, in one of the menus to run a diagnostic test, possibly cleaning and calibration of the printer. Try printing Scan Doctor for Windows and HP. Under how to use diagnostic and printer cleaning services?

  The HP software won't let me not normal print quality on one sheet 5 x 7 or 5 x 8. He apparently thinks that I print a photo.
