Print usb hand ready AP

Hello

Please can I get some help?

I have a D6200 as my first router modem located in the House. To extend the scope of network, I have a DGND3700v2 running in AP mode and connected by ethernet to my office / living room. So far so good.

I would like to connect my HP F300 printer scanner deskjet via USB to the AP (DGND3700v2) to be used as a network printer.

Q.:

1. a printer can be connected and used through the AP?

2. If so, how?

3. the readyshare print utility - is there a mac version and if so where is it? I can't find. (I'm under OSX Yosemite).

Thnaks

Hello RonPri

Yes, you should be able to always print to the printer connected to the AP network still should be able to see in the section readyshare. You will need to connect to the AP device with its Ip address instead of using 192.168.0.1.

I just new Epson Stylus Office TX600FW. Have installed the disc that came with the device. Tried to test the printing, BUT get a small window titled 'Epson Printer Status Monitor 3 "with the message - 'printer is not ready to print'. And he adds "check all connections and make sure all devices are on." To cancel printing, click the [Cancel] button. "And it also shows"Ink levels"and ink icons that all seem to be grey, however, already installed new cartridges Epson genuine - that present as being full when checked in the Epson device information panel.

Have also tried to reinstall the driver from the Epson site download - all still does not.

    Hi Dianne,

This behavior can occur because of corrupt drivers, incompatible drivers, if the print spooler service is not started, because of problems with the printer and the printer, missing updates settings.

  • error "local printer spooler service does not work." any attempt to add a local printer (USB or Bluetooth) fails.

I can't add a printer (USB or Bluetooth), because it always returns a printer spooler error. I tried to restart the print spooler and by ensuring that this "local system account" and "allow service to interact with desktop" is selected. I also deleted all the old printer drivers, rebooted, checked the RPC Locator is active and tried everything I can think of. It worked well in Vista x 64 on the same machine later than yesterday, but the upgrade to Windows 7 x 64 seems to have something broken. The printer, a HP C5500 series, works very well on a virtual machine that is running the same operating system. (I rather not have to run a virtual machine just to print, of course.) Running RTM x 64 on a Dell XPS M1530, which very well printed Vista, just before upgrading, to Win7. Suggestions?

FINALLY, I SOLVED THE PROBLEM! Probably, this will not help too other people unless they too, are start several operating systems and VMware Tools running, but I figured out how to fix it on my system without having to reinstall Windows. In fact, it was caused by an instance of VMware Tools. I removed, rebooted and voila - I was able to print again. In an effort to help a few other people, here is a summary of the things I've tried while working through the countless possibilities. If you are having problems "print spooler cannot start", one of these might help.

    (1) after having in vain attempted to restart the print spooler service and by checking all its dependencies, I deleted all the registry entries and drivers as detailed here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324757.
    (2) I rebooted in safe mode and check the C:\Windows\System32\spool\ folder for all the corrupted files or remnants of coil.
    (3) I moved all the drivers printer in C:\Windows\System32\spool\x64 (or \w32x86 if you are using a 32-bit operating system) to a temporary folder. While examining the dll, I became suspicious of some "ThinPrint" drivers by VMware.
    (4) I tried to replace with a known good copy spoolsv.exe. (To do this, you need to take ownership of the file. Search engines are your friend.)
    (5) I tried to use RegEdit to reconfigure the default http RPCSS indicated in the "DependOnService" value This and all the other steps I mention in this list, are described in great detail in the links provided in my Nov 11 message.
    (6) I tried system restore back as far as possible - who had the positive effect of the side to undo these unsuccessful efforts in this case. Unfortunately, the problem persisted, due to the limited number of available on my system restore points.
    (7) following up on top of my suspicion earlier, I removed VMware Workstation and restarted. The problem persisted after a reboot.
    (8) I then started in the other OS on my system and removed the VMware tools he had installed on my boot drive, then restarted.

Bingo! Printers reappeared and everything worked properly. Then, I was able to reinstall VMware Workstation without breaking anything. Phew!

  • Message error "printer is not ready."

"I get a message" printer is not ready ' when printing 'Adobe PDF '. Changed many settings, without success. Occurs when you print from Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Word. Any way to print a file in format PDF in Adobe Acrobat?

Have you tried printing to the printer file. The result will be a PS file (probably with a PRN). Open the file in Distiller. If you do, then look for the AcroTray running in the background. It is a necessary part of the printing process, unless you like to take additional measures that I have just mentioned.

  • If my printer USB cable is connected, my computer won't start?

If the printer is on and the USB port connected.  The computer won't start.  If I turn on the laptop with the USB plugged in and as it starts and then turn on the printer, everything works fine.  Almost ok.  I think I should be able to leave the printer on all the time as I do at work.  Then when I start the computer, the printer is ready.  Every other printer I've ever had worked this way.  Any suggestions?

Maybe the printer looks like a hard drive (some printers have card readers that make them look like a disk) and the computer attempts to boot from the USB drive instead of the hard drive?  It would be a modification of the settings in the BIOS

[just turns off the computer is not enough.  Wait a few minutes. Then, connect the power supply to the computer.  Once windows started, everything reinstalled one by one.

  • Install a printer LPT1 HP LaserJet 4 L printer USB port in Windows 7

Before this "incident", I was able to print from my HP LaserJet 4 L (LPT1 to USB) printer.  I still have the correct driver.

I was forced to do a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate and lost the ability to print from my LaserJet.  Windows only allows you to install it as a USB printer, but stop there in recognition.  I need to go beyond that point.

It was working before and I know it can work again.  I just need help to get there.

  • printing on printer USB connected to TimeCapsule

I have a USB printer connected to TimeCapsule.

  • Toshiba e-studio 206 does not print USB cable

Hello! We have Toshiba e studio 206 which is installed with the usb cable.
Official drivers for e-studio 206 granted official website (here and later - a Russian) had been installed without error, the device shows any errors as well and can be used as a copier or even scan via the usb cable.
But when I try to print at least a test page - an error in the spooler window.

Install the drivers, the printer as a COM-device. I read on the official website that this is normal.

If Windows 7 (32 bit) - in the window 'Printers and devices' there is the printer itself AND a strange unknown device called TOSHIBA e Studio 206 (COM3).
On Windows XP, it is all of the same except there is not that strange device.

I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong forum, but given that this thing is a copier at the top (or so I think...) ...

P.S:I tried using different USB cable - no effect. I guess, I'll try another while you wait for your kind answerrs... Thank you!

    Hello

Have you installed other printers or drivers next to Toshiba e-studio? If Yes please try to remove them and test it again.

In addition, I would recommend to reinstall the drivers for the e-studio again. Delete the current version and restart the computer. Then install the latest version you can find on the page of Toshiba.

I see other people having this problem but I can't seem to get the printer going on the new USB port on a new computer laptop.

I don't connect when you said that a few post back as your printer is connected using a parallel to USB cable. Now that I have a better understanding of this aspect, I can tell you that it may not work again. Unfortunately, the type of connection that uses the printer is very outdated and is no longer supported because of the potential problems that may result. I'm willing to bet that the issue of installation does not deal with the laptop itself, but the laptop cannot communicate with the printer without communication problems.

My honest suggestion is to check out some of the more recent deskjets or small officejets and see what we have available to replace this unit. Much product HP printers are now improved print quality, ink longevity and increased functionality (wireless, scanning, etc.).

I hope I have shed some more on the issue.

Let me know and have a great day!
