Print with HP LaserJet 3030 from Windows XP to a Windows & Pro

We have a HP LaserJet 3030, we put on a Pro in Windows 7 64 bit computer.  We are able to access this computer from all Windows 7 machines on our network.  We are trying to gain access to this our Windows XP Pro (32 bit), which is on our network.  Although Windows XP can find the hp 3030, it me does not install the drivers, so that I can use this printer to the XP machine.  Any help will be appreciated.

Here are some links that can help you (they helped me when I still had XP):

    Hello

You can drag and drop playlist in Notepad or any other text editor. See: http://www.wikihow.com/Save-a-Printable-List-of-Your-Songs-in-Windows-Media-Player

Personally, I find it not very convenient, it's too much editing involved for my taste.

I use and am happy with a free tool and small called WMPplaylist. Info + download here: http://www.footballchance.com/WMPplaylist.shtm

My camera Olympus only works with Apple's Quick Time 7.  Is it possible to make it work with my operating system from Windows XP?

Apple QuickTime 7 works is because. MOV is the Apple
    QuickTime format.

QuickTime. MOV files can cause problems with Windows Media Player.
And... If you plan to try editing with Movie Maker... the files should
be converted to the. WMV format.

No guarantee, but the following decoder might allow Windows Media
Reader to read your. MOV files. Only problem is... it is not freeware to retail.

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag > FFSetup295.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format

left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

  • The upgrade to Windows 7 with my Laserjet 3030 scanner

I retired recently my PC and XP in exchange of new PC (HP) with Windows 7. Most of the time, everything went very well. Nice OS. However, I had to get a new driver for my HP Laserjet 3030 of HP to make it work with Windows 7. Their only choice was a universal driver for this printer. That worked well, except that I lost all my other features All in One printer scanner IE. The scanner is waiting for the PC, but it resets after 30 seconds without analyzing. I looked for additional drivers solve, but HP does not seem to offer to those who understand the scanner. Any suggestions?

And Yes, I have a PDF reader and a printer. None of them has no menu to offer a solution. All suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

After more reflection and lack of comments on this issue, I decided to install XP virtual emulation to solve the problem. I use the scanner from time to time, is important to my home office, but can work with the obligation to switch to XP. I installed the feature on my computer from my wife when its software would not work in Windows 7 and it works fine. I think this solve my problems until HP gets with the program and supports drivers in order to cover all the features of the Laserjet 3030 All in one. Hope that this announcement will help others who have the same problem.

  • HP LaserJet 3030 on Windows 7 64 bit

I had to reformat my computer and now when I plug in my HP LaserJet 3030 this does not work. HP Universal driver automatically installed and the driver HP 3030 PCL5. If I try to print, the document is sent to the queue with a status of printing. The printer is in its state of readiness. The unit is not able scan. What should I do?

No tearing of the registry is necessary.  To clean the printer drivers everything you need to do is go to devices and printers, select a printer, click Server properties on the toolbar, and click the tab drivers.  From there, highlight and delete all the drivers and the corresponding software you like.  Drivers must be removed from all printer objects until they can be removed.

My apologies, the 3030 is not a software package on Win7x64.  All you can download and install are UPDs.  Scanner drivers are either integrated into Win7 or can be requested through MS. updates  You may not be able to get all of the devices connected, installed in the Device Manager, but the printer and scanner should at least work.

Like I said once you have the printer object installed in Device Manager, then you must make sure that the priner in devices and printers object is set to a USB port.  You can find this information in the printer properties > Ports when right click on your printer from devices and printers.

PCL. XL error messages are associated with the printer PCL6 driver.  You can stop these error messages by migrating to PCL5 or Postscript.

    Multifunction,

Thank you for the update. The registry document I sent should apply to all computers in Windows 8. Please try to follow these steps.

If you do not provide the error log, which could be very useful. This will help me to refine the question. Also, I do not fear spend 20 minutes reading code until something is different.

I will help you with pleasure until the issue is resolved. If you find my help, you can keep tagging my posts with congratulations and accepted Solutions. It would be appreciated.

  • Printing problem with HP Laserjet 1020 on Windows 7 with or without network

I just upgraded all my computers at home with Windows 7 Professional and just set up the network for shared printing.  On my main computer where the network is hosted (to connect to the printer, router, etc.), all the drivers installed and seems very good and computers on my network have all the necessary drivers installed. Currently, my HP laserjet 1020 printer is visible on all systems and print jobs are visible too even when I tried to print it, just document is located in the area waiting for the print window and do not print.
I tried the printer troubleshooting tool, but it could not pick up any problem anyway.

My two machines running windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

Someone has an idea, what happens? I used to be able to print fine on the network when I was with windows xp professional (32-bit)...

    Hi th911,

You mentioned that you have installed the latest drivers from HP, you have also gone through Windows Update to ensure that you have the latest updates installed as well?

Please see the link below for more information on how to do it:

Also, here is some good information about setting up the printer on your home network:

  • Duplex with our laserjet HP4100 and Windows 7 network printing

We have two new HP with Windows 7 desktop computers and you try to use the front and back of our network service HP laserjet 4100 dtn can you suggest the correct drivers or settings please?

Hi, this might be the question why his does not work.

It's a bug in Windows 7. The duplexor is reported as not installed by default, so you'll have to change that.

Go to the Control Panel, find the devices and printers, then click on it. Then right click on your printer icon and choose 'printer properties '. In the new screen go to the "Device settings" tab and under "automatic duplex print unit" set installation options on installed. Should be on is not installed by default, so change installed, then click on apply. Restart the software and perhaps even your computer and check that duplex printing is an option now.

  • Printing with HP Officejet 6100 and Windows 8.1

I had no problem with the printer before installing Windows 8.1.  We installed the latest printer drivers from the HP website.  The printer wants to print to the back to the front, even though we clearly specified it to print from front to back.  It is typical for every program I use, but more troublesome for Sage 100 contractor, where I print paychecks and A / P checks.  We tried to uninstall drivers and reinstall them.  I even tried to "back to front" because it seemed he wanted to do the opposite.  He printed back to front.  Dial-up, rebooted and it continues to print at the back to the front.  I contacted HP Support and they don't have a clue as to why this is happening.  Help, please!

    Hello

When you have reinstalled the printer did you use assistant printer?

    Try the following:

    Press enter
    Scroll down to print spooler
Right-click on the spooler > select Properties
Make sure that the Startup Type is set to automatic
    Under the service stop status
Wait for Windows to stop the printer

Control Panel > open the printer folder
Right click on the printer icon > select Open
Do you see the documents listed in the queue for printing?
Click file > cancel all Documents

Start > right click on computer > select Manage
Click on continue on window UAC (Vista, Windows 7)
    Select Device Manager

Click on the + sign next to Ieeee... compatible printer (Note: some models of printers require an IEEE 1284 parallel port, which allows the rapid two-way communication.)  Do not worry if it is not listed)
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to the imaging device (s)
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to printers
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to Bus USB controllers
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall

While the printer is turned on, unplug the cable from the rear
Unplug the cable from the wall outlet

    Wait 5 minutes

Plug the cable into the wall jack, and then the back of the printer
    Restart the computer

Go back, and then restart the print spooler

    Try printing again

Go to the manufacturer's website and search for updated drivers

  • Can't print with Samsung ML-1210 in Windows 7

I have a Samsung ML-1210 printer that worked on Windows XP. I bought a new PC with Windows 7 and the printer (after universal printer driver download from Samsung).  The icon of the printer is installed and says 'Ready', but when I try the top of page to print a document, the printer runs and produces no output.  Convenience store sees no problem.

Thank you.   This solves the problem.  They referred me to a specific driver for ML-1210.  Obviously, they could save a lot of time and grief directing users to the correct driver on their website instead of the "Universal" driver that does not work.

The link they gave me is listed below, but may have been a private, only link in time:

    http://goo.GL/S7MLX

If this link disappears, Subscribe to Samsung support community and put the question directly to them.

Actually-, they provide direct driver from their site...  I think that you have chosen the universal because he was 'superior' or 'first' in the list is presented to you.

If you visit their web page for your printer:
    http://www.Samsung.com/us/support/downloads/black-and-white-laser-printers/ML-1210

Under the title "Download Center for ML-1210" they click on "Driver" (as "Manual" is probably selected) to move to the list of available drivers.

Jump in front of the third driver in the list - which is universal...

The fifth driver in the list:

    Win Vista/2008/Win 7 , October 20, 2009 Print Driver (driver) (ver.3.01) 9.6 MB MULTI LANGUAGE

... has a link at the end where you can click and download this driver gave you the shortened URL Google.
