  I was in need of an update to my site and see now having problems using FTP Dreamweaver CS4.

  I had to reinstall Dreamweaver on my system (as also, need an update). And had to remind myself of all the information that must be entered in Dreamweaver. However, this is not where the problem is, I can successfully contect to my host and load the files on the server, but then I reload my page of website and nothing has been updated. I tried numorus attempts to solve this problem on mine but without success.

  Is this a bug with CS4? Or should I use an external FTP program such as FileZilla?

• XI Adobe bought and downloaded from the site does not not after the installation of the automatic update

  I purchased a license through web for xi Adobe & downloaded and installed.  Worked perfectly until the recent update (app was config auto-Update). Now the product does not open, it immediately passes to "not responding" when opening a .pdf file.  I tried to go programs - "fix" without success. I DON'T want to update for DC, as the automatic upgrade has tried to make me do.  I just want what I bought to work! Please notify.

  Thanks for the research on the question for me. I can get to the bottom of it. I was design to the default size of phone Muse. My Android device seems to have a high resolution, so it does not move up. Pushing the page width to 640px it seems to work. Probably a stupid mistake on my part!

  Only, I built my first website using Dreamweaver. I downloaded the files using DW ftp installation. When I type the url in IE, I get a blank page with "Index of /" and then a list of the files in the site. If I click on the index.html file it loads fine and everything works from there.

Basically, spend ages on the model of my website (a total of 6 pages to start), but two of the 4 pages displays absolutely Nothing as they do on the overview, what is right, how I want it to look. Instead, miles off the coast.

  I was wondering if anyone can help as to why it doesn't display the same way? Am I missing something? Because all my other pages seem to work.

  Another thing, I pressed accidentally something that highlights the part of my page in pink. Quit and restart doesn't affect him, and it's getting boring... If anyone knows what I mean, that would be much appreciated.

  The homepage seems wrong because the files associated with this page(CSS,JS,images) are not on your server where they should be.

  If you Upload to the FTP host, you usually shouldn't move all files manually.

  Depending on your provider, you may need to specify a folder for the "host directory" name in the FTP download dialog box. It is often a folder like "public_html", but it depends on your host. If you fill in correctly, Muse who should download everything in the right place for your site seems correct.
