• PES 9 prints blank page

  PSE 9.0.3 for Mac started printing blank pages only.   WOW! At least temporarily, my solution is press Setup (the key) right arrow to TOOLS #6 tab. type OK.

• HP 2175xi on Windows 7 only prints blank pages

  I used to have Windows Vista Business. and just upgraded to Windows 7 Professional. I had my 2175xi long period (4 years and more) and it worked very well.

  When I upgraded to Windows 7, the installation has said I can have trouble with the 2175xi all-in, but I went ahead anyway. The printer was not connected to the time wherever I've updated (long story). I connected the printer and got the printer through Windows Update driver update. But but now prints blank pages, or pages with a cut-off line at the top of the page, even on the "Print a Test Page" function. I restarted the PC, I have reset the printer, and I checked/exchanged my USB cable. I do not have another old printers/drivers/etc. I looked at hp.com for a newer driver, but each page seems to say that I can get this driver through Windows Update, not by a direct download from HP.

  This is the 2nd time that I had major problems with the HP drivers on a new version of Windows. If it is a marketing ploy to get me to buy a new printer, it works - but it will not be a HP I get next time! If all goes well, it's just a small easily fixable problem.

  Has proved to be a simple problem. I went into the menu devices and printers, deleted the printer, the printer is off and then turned it back. Plug N Play picked up, installed the driver again, and now it works.

• Firefox will display PDF files, but prints blank pages. Other browsers are fine, safe mode has no effect.

  Looks like there is something wrong with the print on your Mac driver. To resolve this problem, we will need refresh your printing system and re - add the printer driver.

  Reset the printing system:

  To begin, I will have you reset the printing system on your Mac. Please click herefor instructions on how to perform the reset. When the site opens, follow the steps under"Reset printing in OS X Lion system" because the steps are the same for Mac OS X 10.10. This Reset deletes each printer on your Mac. However, it does not uninstall printers. Therefore, if use you other printers on the Mac, once the reset is complete simply make sure printers are attached via a USB cable or connected network and (+) add hide them po do add not your HP Photosmart back in right now.

  Once the reset is complete, proceed to the next step.

  Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:

  1. Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications
  2. Go to the Utilities folder
  3. Open disk utility
  4. Select the hard disk volume, you use (usually on the left)
  5. Select verify disk permissions
  6. Once this process is complete, select repair disk permissions

  Add device:
  1. click on the menu of Apple , then Preferences System.

  2. click on print and scan and then check if the name of your printer appears in the printer list.

  3. click on the name of your printer, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

  4. click on the plus sign (), click Add a printer or a Scanner, click the name of your printer.

  Printer was working fine.  Had to change the cartridge. First of all, I didn't have black and now I don't have much color either.  The printer says I had no real HP though now it shows that I do. I never bought my cartridges anywhere but the staples.  Printing October 2012 have changed many cartridges before you buy.  Followed everything I could find.  Still not printing.

  What operating system and version do you have? Mac or Windows?

  If you have a Windows operating system, start printing HP and doctor Scan. Printing HP and doctor Scan is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly solve common printing, scanning and connectivity problems, including but not limited to:

  • Connectivity:

    USB: Check that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product works properly.

    Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working properly.

  • Device Status Test: checks the errors of the device, such as paper, paper jams, stands transport and paper issues and provides instructions to resolve the error.

  • Driver: checks the driver missing or corrupt files.

  • Device Manager: check the problems in Device Manager that could prevent printing.

  • Device online: check if the product has been suspended or put in offline and then sets the State back in line if necessary.

  • Print queue: checks and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a newspaper for printing waiting to print).

  • Port Match: check the port settings for the HP product.

  • Device conflicts: check the conflicts with other drivers, such as the other brands of printers.

  • Ink issues: check the cartridges and the ink levels for issues that affect the print quality.

  • Print settings: check and adjust the print quality settings.

  • Test print: print a test page for the assessment of the print quality and provides options for cleaning and if necessary print head alignment.
