Printer HP Photosmart 7525 Wizard is not found
I need help to find my HP Photosmart e - all in a Wizard of the printer. I want her to be as an icon on my desktop. (Like Solution HP) used to do.
I want to scan multiple images at once/harvest/and save each to a different file.
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Please keep with steps you have already done...
First you must have installed full feature software.
General instructions to install the printer software
- Open drivers HP & downloads
- Enter your printer model information
- Select your printer in the list of the 'results '.
· Open e-all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart 7525 drivers
· Enter your operating system from the menu drop-down
· Click NEXT and scroll down
· Find the category driver - software product installation
· Select the base driver, e-print, or a full features software
· Save the *.exe installation package (s) on your computer
The files will probably save in the "folder"downloads. "
- If it is available, you can download print and scan doctor and / or other programs of the category-utilities
Install the utilities / tools first. bit installation packages are smaller in size
- If you have control of "Admin", you can highlight the package and "double-click" to install it, otherwise just right-click, select run as administrator and install.
· On the bottom half of the main Web page for your printer, you can find some helpful videos to help with the installation of the printer software.
· Scroll down the list of videos back until you find the video that best fits your situation.
- If you use a USB connection: download and install the driver software before connecting a USB cable.
- Ethernet: If the printer supports Ethernet, you can connect the printer to the network (and assign the printer an IP address for the router, if you wish). Once the printer is connected to the network, make sure that the printer is turned on, and then install the printer software.
- Once the initial installation is complete and functional, don't forget to check and install the relevant updates - check the category - updated

Setup software printer should provide an icon Printer Wizard on your desktop that you can use to "scan a Photo Document or".
If the printer icon Wizard is not placed on the desktop during installation, then you can search for the program Assistant printer on your computer.
Assuming that the printing software full feature software properly installed, you just find the program you can make your own shortcut to the printer for your Office Assistant.
The following CAN help...
- Open a Windows Explorer window
- Go to C:\Program Files *
- You might find a folder named for your printing software (photosmart 7525)
- Navigate to the Bin subfolder
- Search for a program called
- NOTE: The program will NOT be appointed Assistant printer
- Right click on this program > select send to desktop to make a shortcut
** Windows 7 may be different - look in C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP if you must, although I suspect the only program you will find there the scanner program...
Multiple scan / crop to save a characteristic single file:
There are two ways to end up with what you want, even if I have not found a way to get the 7520 (very similar to your model) to do what I think you are looking for.
I agree that it is useful to have. If we have zillions of old photos to scan, need to scan a photo at a time - or their cropping manually - can make your brain freeze.
If the feature is available on your model, the magic is in the analysis in the Assistant printer model - and relaxation is perhaps not too much harder that separate the pictures far enough part to trigger the sensor reads what is on the glass. It's been a while since I've done this - but I'm sure it was pretty straightforward (from the point of view of the user).

Cannot print. EU of evil when the printer was initially put in place. "Happytohelp01" Assstance solved the advised me; a manual IP address unBalayage DNS servers for the printer. I did not write the information and now my printer is not working (it only worked for about a month), now nada. I've had at the start of the connection to the web server problems - now its doing the same thing, but I don't know what IP Address and DNS to use. Please help if you can.

Original title: printer in an error state
I've been printing with success of my Pro Surface using my printer HP Photosmart 7525 for a few months. However out of the blue I got a message when I click on the printer that the printer is in a State of error... that's all. I went to the HP website and print successfully a step printer HP Network Config report. Page and test wireless report. No problems here... all printed. Also made the deactivation/activation of printer etc.. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I see that you have tried several troubleshooting steps in an attempt to resolve the issue, but the problem persists. This problem can also occur if the printer drivers are corrupt.
Refer to the following and see if it helps:
Step 1: Unplug the printer from the computer.
Step 2: Connect the printer, uninstall the software from the printer to the computer and reinstall.
For help to uninstall the application, refer to the suggestions for the following link.
To download and install the drivers, see the following link.
I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.
I put eprint in place and when I send something it will not only print the computer says there is a problem and it is supposed to be an error on the printer control panel. BUT there is no error message. I have updated firmware update.
Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you can not send print jobs to your printer Photosmart 7525 ePrint e-mail address.
Connected HP sometimes gives a false report that there is a problem not specified with the printer. HP has been able to reproduce the error. If there was a genuine mistake, the message would point to the problem (low on ink, paper, etc). Unspecified error message does not prevent you to use ePrint.
You also mentioned that the printer is not printing. To better help you with this, would provide you some additional information:
(1) is the printer connected directly to a wall outlet?
(2) you are able to make a copy of the front of the printer?
(3) what operating system are you using on your computer?
(4) you are able to print from your computer?
(5) did you install the full features of the printer software on your computer or you are using the base driver provided with the operating system?
(6) do you receive error messages when you try to print? If so, are they displayed on the front panel of the printer or on the computer?
I am unable to print because there is a job in the queue who says is the deletion, but does not work. I turned off the printer, but it does not help. It is a wireless HP Photosmart 7525. Frustrated!
I think you need to delete the queue. For Windows, try it please:
Hold down the Windows key and press R.
from the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.
If the computer asks you to Admin, you have to accept that,
regarder watch down to the print spooler service, right-click and select Properties
Click the Stop button,
Go to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers
delete the job inside this folder
restart the machine.
I have already added my new printer Photosmart 7525 to my home network. It is installed via USB with the complete HP 7525 software (downloaded from HP) on my HP desktop computer that is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I shared the printer on the desktop. I want to access the printer even my laptop which is connected to my network via a router wireless (N). The laptop is running Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit. On the laptop under Windows, when I click to "add a network printer", it "sees" the printer 7525 shared desktop, and she also 'sees' 2 iterations of the 7525 which are connected to the network (I used the control panel of the printer to add the 7525 to wireless connection before never hang on the printer to any PC). Under Windows, when I click on 'Add' my printer to the laptop, it pops up a window asking me to choose my printer model in the list of printers HP listed in the menu drop-down (it is looking to add the printer driver, I think). My Photosmart 7525 is not in the list. Photosmart 7500 series of printers is not also listed - even when I refresh the list of printers Windows drop-down list by using the Windows Update option. So, what should I do - download and install the Photosmart full 7525 software and then add the 7525?
It is easier, more likely to work, to install the software of feature complete on each computer you want to use this printer. I think you can use the printer with the USB cable connected to a printer and the Wi - Fi connection for other systems on your network home.
The exception: CE devices don't use FFS - instead, you can use the mobile application for printing.

We recently purchased a printer all-in-one PhotoSmart HP 7525. I created the printer via a USB cable to a single computer (the main desktop computer). The printer works perfectly in this way.
We also have a wireless network and other devices on the network to use the HP printer. However, the main desktop computer doesn't have wireless connectivity, it's why I connected the printer with a USB cable. I don't want to replace Wireless USB connectivity. I want to add wireless capabilities, so we have two options available (USB only for the desktop, wireless for iPhones, ipads and other computers on the wireless local area network). Furthermore, I realize that we need to install the printer drivers on any PC without wire that we want to have access to the PhotoSmart printer.
What I want to do is to leave the main computer set up exactly as it is (USB connection). I want to put the printer on the wireless network without disturbing this set-up. What is the best way to add this printer to our network on the main computer wireless capability wireless?
Thanks a lot for your help.
In fact for the specific printer you can do it from the Panel as well.Follow these steps to connect the printer to the new network by using the Wireless Setup Wizard.
I bought a HP 5524 (CX047B) yesterday and downloaded the drivers from HP (Photosmart-5520 - series_v12.23.0). Today, it seems that the latest drivers are available for OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.3, so now I use HewlettPackardPrint2.13. I used the uninstall HP program before loading the drivers in both cases. Signal Wi - fi is good (Time Capsule from Apple 4th gen). The printer is intended for use by Mac users on a home network. At the moment it does not work properly.
I have not tried yet photo printing... I tried to print an e-mail I received (with diagram) using the USB connection, the results are very good. If I feel like using a WiFi print job shows 'print file accepted' in the queue... but nothing happens for 2-3 minutes, and then if I'm lucky the printer produces the header of the email. The printer then displays a message "Cancel" and ends by becoming free.
So for now, I have a wi - fi network printer that cannot be used f you walk your laptop up to it and use USB.
(FYI I used an HP B209a-m as a network printer wi - fi for 3 years without problem, until he decides for does not wotk earlier this week). Suggestions please. Clive Parfitt
Reset the printing system:
-Go to System Preferences > print & Scan
-Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and then beside the dropdown 'Use', select the model of the printer (not AirPrint). Wait for the 'Add' button becomes available. Until it clicks.
I had my printer for years and a few days ago, it stopped printing. I looked around the printer, and the only thing I can find is the IP said: "not connected". I tried to restart my computer and the printer. I also went on HP website and tried to re - download the driver for this printer. Unfortunately when I am at the step of the Wizard utility download HP it can't find my printer. I checked and my wireless is enabled. The following troubleshooting suggestion is to connect the printer directly to the computer with a USB cable. I don't have the printer USB cord that could be with the printer, so I'm at a loss to know what to do next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Easy things first. Power off the printer and the router. Turn on the router and wait 3 min. to the printer market and check that it connects to the router. Status now?

WebPrint cannot find the driver updated for windows7 64 bit. have deskjet4500 and new software installed, any ideas?
So you're referring to HP Smart Web Printing, it's more clear now
The HP Smart Web Printing is compatible with Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8.
For Internet Explorer 9, you will need to remove the HP Smart Web Printing and install the HP Smart printing instead, as shown below:

We bought a new router and when it was installed, I cannot print from my iPhone 5. My phone is set up on the new WiFi router. I guess the signal to the printer is going through the router. I don't really know.
I need help to know how to enable printing from my iPhone.
AirPrint is based on Hello (multicast), which should be supported by your router.
Some routers does not support such an and some may need to change the settings of the multicast router work.
Please let me know your router brand and model to understant better capabilities.
So, you can try the HP ePrint app and check if that can allow the addition of the printer by its IP address.
Click on the plus sign while choosing a printer and type its IP address, which can be found by clicking Setup > network > network display the summary on the front of the printer:
All of a sudden, the HP printer Assistant refuses to display. I rebooted the SW twice and the printer works but the wizard is not displayed. It works on another computer running Win8.1. The printer is the window which shows all about the printer by using the buttons to scan, fax, poster the ink level, etc.
Try to install the following fix and let me know if that can help resolve the issue:
If this does not help please clarify your intention by "does not display", what answer you see after clicking on the printer icon to start the wizard of HP printer?
