  • I can't get my printer LaserJet CP1025nw of color appears on the installation wizard

I am running Snow Leopard on my iMac. I downloaded the printer and the file of the software on the HP site. However, when I get to the Color LaserJet CP1025nw Printer Setup Wizard does not appear on the list even though I have just completed the installation.

    Hi Casey,.

Sorry, had the wrong impression that you use a connection network caused the question sympthoms.

Please make sure that the printer, USB is directly connected to your Mac and no more than 2 - 3 m long without using a USB hub or extension. It can cause serious communication problems. Please also plug the USB key into a different USB port on your Mac.

If you have an iMac, also be sure to plug the USB key into a port on the back of the printer and not on the keyboard (like the keyboard ports are not powered and actually provide the same power as the use of a hub)

On the Mac, click the Apple menu.

While holding the ALT key, click System Profiler from the menu.

In the left pane, click USB

You see the printer listed in the right pane?

If the printer is not listed under USB, this means that the unable to communicate with him without any problem of Mac software, so I would recomment USB cable it to try another.

If the printer detected as expected, please let me know.

    Kind regards

  • The installation wizard seems to stop

I'm trying a first installation on a relatively new platform for win7 64 bit. Something about downloads, I wonder for permission to install, to grant him. Installation Wizard opens, decompresses at 60% and disappears. Tried several times, with or without MS security essentials, also in safe mode. Identical results in all cases.

Can't identify anything in event log associated with Mozzila or Firefox (not familiar with tool). Ran AV and Malware scans. Nothing. Don't see anything in Win program removal or Revo Uninstaller to suggest partial installation.

Try running the full installation instead of the Stub Installer

  • Help with the download installation wizard.

    Hello

I just got a WRT54G2.  My computer CD players do not work so I try to install the downloadable Wizard. I downloaded it from this page: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WRT54G2/download

What I get is a .iso file and I have no idea how do run as an installation wizard program.  I did research for a few hours and I tried some programs, but what they let me do it see files but does not work for the installation wizard.

How to run the installation wizard the downloaded file only?

    Thank you

    -Pascal

A .iso file is an image of a CD. Burn it to a cd - r with roxio or nero or other software you are burning. You can also try the magic disc (freeware) that will mount the iso image to a virtual cd drive. Your best best is probably just to burn it to a cd. Hope that helps!
