Printer load the photo tray photo paper

My HP C7280 does not load paper photo 4 x 6 from the photo tray.  The photo tray moves in direction the feeder, but fails to actually load the paper into the feeder.  Any suggestions on how to remedy this?  Thank you.

Mike

Hey,.

These are the instructions of Macintosh, but measures to prepare for printing of the photo are the same, but they will on Windows just would ignore the instructions.

Have a great day. Getting back to me.

    Hey there,

    Hello

If you use the HP and Biz: select your image, and then on the options of the printer on the bottom of the screen. From there, select your printer and down, select your paper type.

  • How to print pictures in color for the tray paper 8 x 11 rather than the photo paper tray

I have two questions... Why do I need a username to ask questions on the forum.  It's just a flat waste of my time and a gross attempt at the formation of the collection

Second - I want to print photos (such as web pages and other things) to my paper 8 x 11.  This 5740 insists that almost anything with the color goes from the photo paper tray.

  • New HP Photosmart 7520 won't print from the photo tray

EDIT: He will feed from the phototray if I print the photo in Windows Photo Viewer.  However, he still refuses to print directly from the jpg format, even if I specify explicitly in all the settings I want to print a 4 x 6 from the photo tray.

    Is this a normal behavior?

I guess it would print correctly from other photo editing and look at software, but haven't checked that yet is not sure.

    PREVIOUS POST:

I just got this printer and cannot print from the photo tray.  He printed from the phototray during installation and configuration, but it was the only time.  The rest of the time, when I try to print a photo, it selects only in the regular paper tray.

Is there a magical procedure involved?  I have an operating system of Windows 7 and just installed on the HP site.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still does not work.

I load a sheet in the phototray, make sure that the correct printer is defined, select the paper size (in this case 4x6in photo sample provided with the printer paper), select HP Everyday Photo Paper, glossy paper, click on print and the printer does not take into account the phototray and prints from the regular paper tray.

I've scoured the web and answers do not solve the problem.  It's very frustrating.  If I can't get this resolved in a day or two, I will back this printer and will try another brand.

These settings should always print to the Photo tray.

I changed the photo tray settings and selected the format of photo paper and all, but it will still print from the photo tray. I loaded the HP 5 x 7 advanced photo paper in the photo albums tray and emptied the lower tray, but it just says: I have more paper.  Help, please!

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Maybe for this printer model, the Photo tray only wants to print on 4 X 6 photo paper.

The printer will allow you to place the 5 X 7 Photo paper in the lower status bar / hand and printed after setting printing preferences?

  • 6520 printer all in one, do not pick up the photo paper

Hello, bought 2 hours there, everything was going great, wifi connected, etc etc, but I can't change my phone Android to Portrait photo printing and also the printer will only print to A4 paper tray.  I have only 4 sheets of photo paper to play with, because they do not weigh enough to be recognized?  All/any help would be appreciated.

    Hello cassie118,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you're looking to print photos from your Android phone, something that you have done since the printer was purchased, but until recently you could not.

What is the version of the operating system installed on the Android? Also, what are you trying to print from the Gallery of media on the phone, an E-mail, an App, etc.?

Try to print the photo of HP ePrint App. This can be downloaded for the game store.

This guide: loading plain paper, Photo paper and envelopes, is just for a quick review to make sure that the photo paper is loaded correctly. He should choose the paper, even when only a single sheet is loaded.

  • HP Officejet want 5740: HP Envy does not print from the photo tray

All of a sudden the printer refuses to print from the print bed.  I sat down today and photos of 4 x 6 successfully printed iPhoto.  When I went the second impression, it would only print from the paper tray.  All the settings are correct.  The window of the printer poster paper in all trays of correct size.  The printer settings are correct. I tried to restart the computer to reset, but in vain.

    Hi @KarenPM,

I understand that you are having problems to print from the photo tray. I can help you with this.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

Here are the steps to print the photos. HP ENVY 5540, 5570 Deskjet and Officejet 5740 - print photo printers.

If you're still having problems, it may be a damaged printer driver, try the following:

Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

    Close all applications.

In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

    Double-click disk utility.

Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

    Restart the computer...

    Reset the printing system:

Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.

    Click on Printers & Scanners.

Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

Click OK to confirm the reset.

Type the name and the correct password.

Click OK to reset the printing system.

Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

Try another application to see if you have the same results.

How is the printer connected? (USB, Ethernet, WiFi)

I understand that when you print from your Windows Vista-based computer to your HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one printer the screen 'Fax' is popping up and the incorrect paper tray / support is selected. I would like to help you today to address these issues. If this is the case, what program are you a victim of problems when printing?  If the 'Send of Fax' window is popping up under all programs that you print from your computer, it is likely that the wrong printer is selected as the default printer in the printers and devices window. Can I please you follow the steps below to fix this problem.

    Set the default printer:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the devices and printers or Printers (you may need to access it via Control Panel)
    3. Under the Printers folder, locate your HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one. This printer should display a green check mark above to indicate that it is the default printer.
    4. If your Fax-HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one shows like check mark on this subject, please right click on HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one (printer) and left click on "default".

Once the correct printer has been confirmed as the default printer please test print to confirm that the 'Fax' problem is solved.

Once solve us the problem of Fax, we will be able to adjust your print settings to confirm that your printer is configured to print on the correct paper and with appropriate support tray.

How to check the paper tray settings:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the devices and printers or Printers (you may need to access it via Control Panel)
    3. Under the Printers folder, locate your HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one
    4. Right click on the HP Officejet
    5. Left click on Printing Preferences
    6. On the paper/quality tab, make sure that the Paper Source is set to main tray
    7. Also, ensure that the media is set on plain white paper (if that's what you print on)
    8. Click apply and OK
    9. Close the Printers folder
    10. Try to print a document to confirm that your HP Officejet prints from the correct tray.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

HP Photosmart Premium c310 refuses to print from the photo tray.  I use an iMac.  I shot tray in and out, nothing.  I stoked market, nothing.  Whenever I try to print a photo, it pulls the main tray.  He doesn't even try to pull the photo tray.  And I select in the settings of Photo paper in the photo tray.  Oh, and I have never tried to print before photos.  This is my first time and it won't work.  Printing regular documents from the main tray works fine.   Can someone please help?

Are you printing from iPhoto?  If so (and this may apply to other applications), you must specify the format and print size.  Make it look like this:

    Photosmart HP 5510 series

I want to print some pictures from my laptop to my HP printer.  I printed normally on A4 plain paper today. No problems & paper is recognized.

    1. I put photo paper 'brilliant ' low side - right?

    2. I tried to photo paper extra paper in the tray, but it does not recognize the photo paper. How (where?) SHOULD I feed paper photo in. so that it can be recognised & print correctly?

  • Does not print to the photo tray, but will display the test page

I have latest driver for Vista, but cannot print on the photo tray.  It won't make the plateau, although it works fine when you print the test page.  I tried different settings of page/paper and "photo tray" settings to turn on, but still not Vista print.

Tried to 8250 printer properties, change the paper settings, but cannot recognize the settings, even if she sees the book and the test page is printed.  Seems to work with XP very well.

Connected to an XP machine, printed photo.

Reconnect the Vista, fooled with the parameters, and then it worked!

I don't know exactly what fixed...

  • How to print on the back of the photo paper and it will dry.

I need to print on the back of some pictures I have. I use a HP Officejet Pro 8500 with the help of Windows 7. I tried to print on these photos, but the ink not dry not.

The book that I use is brilliant all the days of 4 x 6 photo paper.

What should I change in the settings to get the ink dry?

    Hello

most of the Photo book you will only print on one side.

Unless the Photo paper is designed for double-sided printing, you will not be able to print on the back of the paper.

There is no different parameters to one side, it only depends of the medium used.

    Kind regards

  • Jealousy 5540: Problem load A4 photo paper in Envy 5540

I don't see how to load A4 photo paper in the printer. There is a photo of the top tray, but it's only for smaller papers. If I put photo paper in the main tray, I get a message out-ot-paper when I try to print.

    All advice appreciated.

The problem (I finally realized) was that I had put inot photo paper A4 tray on top of ordinary paper - this seems to stop it printiing - as soon as I removed the regular paper, it worked.

  • HP Envy 5540: HP Envy 5540 will not be printed on A4 photo paper

As said in the title, the HP envy 5540 which has brought us recently will not print on A4 photo paper. When you try this it will be just the paper jam. It can print on the matte side of the shiny paper but who despises the point to print on glossy paper. Glossy paper in which you provided (10 x 15 cm) works very well so I don't see what the problem is.

So I thought I'd post a response cela in case someone else wins the same problem. To resolve this problem when you put paper in the tray make sure that it is placed as left as possible. The reason for this is because the paper gets stuck to the right of the printer inside, this is of course because this model isn't try and calibrate the book itself just cause, it assumes that the Board is good enough.
If this still does not work then I recommend that once in the basic printing options, select photo paper (HP or not depending on what you have). More there are also in Control Panel > display devices and printers and right click on the printer model you are using, and then select Printing Options. Then, check the orientation of the layout and for verification of the quality of the paper / source paper and media for what you feel would be good for you.

Hope this helps someone else who has this problem because when I looked around I saw never the solution.

  • HP7520 printer using the photo cartridge during the printing of the documents not General and black print cartridge

My 7520 printer uses the photo and not the General black cartridge when printing on plain paper documents. The black general still full but my photo cartridge runs out of ink.

    Hi shay!

My apologies, I didn't know that your prints come out in blue print when you have a totally black cartridge. It is a problem of print quality with the printer or something in the settings of your computer.

I suggest to try the steps in the guide below. You have already tried some troubleshooting, try so the steps that you have not yet tried, I understand:

The streaks of ink fixing, faded prints and other common print quality problems

If you're still only able to print in blue (no black print), so I recommend you call HP to let them know. As you mentioned you have only had the camera for 3 months, it is likely under warranty and you might need a spare part or unit.

Here are the details of HP:

If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

I hope this problem is solved for you, have a wonderful Wednesday
