Just received this printer refurbished HP 2 weeks ago to replace the one who had a problem with printhead. Printing worked initially, but now I get the message "the printer into an error state" when I try to print. I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
- Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
- Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a bar or a surge protector).

I (now 2) incoming text messages icons on my screen that won't go away. The messages are of the same person. When I opened the message there is no text, but when I close it, the icon remains as if I did not open the message. I deleted this person as a text contact conversation and others with her, from my phone and put his back as a contact. I turned the phone market.
I tried to delete the message by clicking on the screen of the app and tapping text messages and delete the empty message from there. I went in the messages folder after the message and is not here, but still on the screen "unread".

Touch screen does not work and the message "USB device not recognized".
I have a Samsung Ativ book 9 Lite. Everything works fine until that recently when my touch screen stopped working (is there a function button that could possibly have it?) and I constantly get a notification from Windows Explorer that says "Device not found USB." When I go to the Device Manager page it constantly keeps refreshing, so you can't click on almost any. There is an element that shows as unknown, but if I try to uninstall or disable, it happens immediately. I just downloaded the latest driver for the printer I only use and still no luck.

I suggest to download the latest driver available for the touch screen on the manufacturer's Web site and install it.

My HP Potosmart C7280 AIO (all-in-one) is stuck with an error message.
Door open
Ink cartridge access door is open.
I have reeived a printer replacement in support of July 2008 and HP will not help because my original printer was purchased in Dec 2007.
Google did not help
Search HP support site did not help
User manual did not help.
I also tried this:
power off
Unplug the power cable
Wait a minute
Press and hold the "#" and "6" keys
Plug in power chords
Be patient
Wait for the white screen out.
Release the keys #6
Press the button power
... all of this in the hope that a false alert will disappear. There NO :-(
Experts out there?
Is - this firmware/hardware translation?
In the future, I'm not spending a dime more with HP unless this issue is resolved in a satisfactory manner.
Help to get forward.

Thank you for your message. How long these problems last? If all of these symptoms have occurred recently, you can perform a System Restore to a point when your computer was functioning as designed.
If a system restore does not resolve the problem, I think that you would be better served download and run the malicious software removal tool.

Yes, you have a router, but there two (technically three) networks. I guess that is your printer or your computer is connected to the Guest network. Check that your PC is not on the network of comments.

Thanks for the information. Two things to try. First of all, try to align your print cartridges using the controls on the printer display panel. As part of this process, the printer will print on a sheet of alignment that you place on the printer and scan in the printer. See if it works successfully. I get a message there is no communication between the printer and the computer. Printer is all-in-one HP Officejet 4315v. Have uninstalled and reinstall the software and unplug the USB port and plug it back. Repeated several times. Still no communication. Exclamation red light next to 'on' and green button 'on' butter is flashing all the time.
