Printer not printer RED

L7555 - AIO-Vista home premium, no Magenta printing, you can test print head? I did everything else. Everything is authentic HP. print 20 copies large then began the vertical lines cleaned the print heads and Magenta went. has worked for a few copies then day and then not red again. I'd rather not spend $80 on a new print head and find tht is not the problem.

This document for Troubleshooting print quality problemsmay offer assistance here. Part of troubleshooting covers the print heads.

  • Photosmart C & 180 will not print red

The printer has suffered when we had a power cut and he was turned on.

Since then, it will not print red. (I just get yellow).

Have looked through the wire "Will not print Magenta", I'm not sure who, magenta cartridges (or both), I need to try hard - or if there are a few other adjustments that I do.

    Hello Phil1812,

Please confirm the process you have already finished.

Another process, you could try is as follows:

    (1) remove all ink cartridges.

    (2) close the ink access door.

    (3) disconnect the printer.

    (4) wait for about 30 seconds.

    (5) connect the printer.

    (6) a message indicating to load the cartridges should appear on the control panel.

    (7) reload cartridges.

    Kind regards

  • Will not print red

Hi, I own a number of hp photosmart premium c310 series: model {deleted personal information}: cn503a it will not print red. Have preformed obvious troubleshooting, other technical suggestions. Could not do stack or facing other alternatives with similar problem

Did you also check to make sure that the printer firmware is up-to-date?
I would like to do a manual cleaning the contacts on the cartridges, the printer and the print head next to ensure that this accumulation on these pieces is not the cause of the problem. Solution 4 this document here shows how to clean the contacts of the cartridge on the cartridges and the printer. The solution in this document here shows how to clean the print head. I know that the titles of the documents do not meet your specific question, but they are the steps to take to remove accumulation. If you have the print head of the machine, take a look at the printed on date while you clean the contacts that the date is in this part of the printhead. If this date is not passed, this is a replaceable part that can be troubleshoot-performed and replaced by contacting HP Total Care. If this date has passed, please post back with this date and I can give directions over here.

  • Cannot print red

Printer has stopped printing red. I have changed the cartridge, still does not red print. I went through all the cleaning, by aligning services public etc, no change. Now the printer began to print a diagnostic page after each normal page and I can't stop doing that! I just bought 3 new cartridges so really want to end up having to buy a new printer to solve the problem. It is a HP Office Jet Pro K5400n bought in 2008 and had worked well so far. HP tell me he's too old for their support.

Also try manual cleaning print heads, without change.

I put in a new magenta/cyan print head now and it has worked to correct problems - red prints again AND boring diagnosis page has ceased to be printed after each print.

  • HP Deskjet 3070: I try to print red, but it comes out yellow

    Hello

I have a HP Deskjet 3070 e-all-in-one - B611a. I was able to print correctly before of my HP Pavilion laptop to Windows 7 32-bit OS, but last week my printer started acting strange. When I try to print the text in red, it comes out yellow. When I try to print a purple variant, he leaves little green lifestyle. If I want to print Yellow, blue or black, it is printed correctly. I checked the ink cartridges, they have been placed correctly. I cleaned the print head, did not help. It seems as if my printer cannot print red more or the Red cartridge is somehow filled yellow ink... Can someone help me please?

    THX,

    Frederik

It seems that the magenta ink is not printing correctly.  The steps in this troubleshooting page can help.  If they don't resolve the problem the message here can help.

  • HP Deskjet 970Cse only prints red after the new color cartridge installed.

HP Deskjet 970Cse only prints red after the new color cartridge installed. I use black HP 45 and HP 78 color. Both are new. I know the printer is an older model, but it works well a month ago.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help.  It was a faulty cartridge.  I pressed a white cloth on the ink source and only yellow and blue were visible, without red (magenta).  I've returned the fabric and cartridge in the store (with my receipt) and managed to get another canister... it worked!  Both cartridges have dates of expiry of 2016.  Glad I didn't have to spend time troubleshooting my printer.

  • 895cse will not print red or yellow

Arrested 895Cse print any color (white). I put in new cartridge. Now, it will print blue but not red or yellow (again just empty). Black is fine.

OK, a few things to check - I would start with the date on the cartridge as described in this document.  A few years ago, I ran across a major retailer who had long expired cartridges for sale, they probably would have questions right out of the box.

Although it is possible, this could be caused by a printer hardware problem that is less likely, that all colors are driven by a single chip driver.  It woud not likely that two of the colors fail but cyan would still print as a result of the failure of the electronics.

A way to check the cartridge would be as follows: remove the cartridge and gently pat dry the nozzles on a wet tissue.  A good cartridge would have strong cyan, magenta and yellow stripes.  If your cartridge only displays a task strong cyan, with a bit of magenta and yellow, then maybe it's the problem.

If the task of cartridge shows not all colors there are a possible (but maybe temporary) solution.  Put a little folded paper towel in the bottom of a cup and drop of the cartridge on paper.  (That would be the same orientation that would be the cartridge in the printer).  Pour in hot water to a depth of about 1, 5-2 "and let the cartridge to soak for about ten minutes.  After soaking, remove the cartridge and gently dry the electric contacts with a fluffy - a coffee filter works well.  Replace the cartridge in the printer and try to print the page of diagnosis as described in this document.

  • 6700 does not print red

OfficeJet 6700. With the help of HP ink cartridges.

Blue, yellow and black all print OK. However, the red color print as a kind of Brown.

Replace the Magenta XL HP cartridge with a new one with the same result.

I ran in the OfficeJet Wizard, the diagnosis the reports tab in the device information.

Black, yellow and Cyan samples printed with the appropriate color. However, Magenta print as a purple muted with many horizontal stripes.

I then ran the clean print heads.

All the outputs black seemed clean and sharp. Color samples, with 3 shades of each color displayed in blue (ok), muted purple (all striated), Brown (méché) and green (ok).

Running a third level cleaning produces a similar, but more streaked, results for the samples of violet and Brown.

Replacement cartride Magenta leads to the same results.

When I printed a page of my computer, red appeared as browns.

The same programs running on the same computer with my previous printer HP DeskJet 970 worked.

Is there some kind of color profile that must be loaded to correct this?

My 6700 printer is around the age of 7 months and I never came across this problem in the past.

    Help, please!

Since I have no answer on this forum, I called HP Support.

After several tests, it was determined that the printer was defective.

Since I was still under warranty, a replacement (reconstructed) printer has been sent.

    Now, everything's fine. Problem solved!
