Printer prints blue or tiny, unreadable page photography

My printer is a HP Deskjet 970 CSE.  Then it was working very well begun lowercase characters printing or fills most of the clear blue ink page before printing.  This happens only when you print the email.  If printing from a site, that's ok.

Try selecting file > print, for the different options and not only hit printing btn

  • Printer prints blue instead of black

I have a HP 6840, has worked well and suddenly started printing blue instead of black.  Prints all other colors, but not black.  On the test page, everything is blue, except two small squares at the top that are dark gray.

    Any thoughts?

The test page actually uses a combination of color to print what appears as black text.  It seems that you will need a black cartridge.

  • Printing, new problem, tiny size, not cured by measures identified in support.

A new old problem of a few weeks. When I print from Firefox, the result is a very small image printed in the upper part of the page. If I change the settings, it has chopped every page in 4 pages and prints a quarter on every page. I don't have this problem if I print from IE, so not a printer problem. I lived every step in the help topic relating to printing problems and an important step in response to a question from the forum. No joy.

If Firefox does not use the entire sheet of paper, it can result from after having extracted Windows incorrect paper size settings when reading data from the print driver. Compensation it may involve conclusions some mask parameters, but here goes:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste print and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) for each parameter of the problem printer, right click and reset The fastest way is to click with the mouse and press the r key on the keyboard with your other hand.

Note: In some other discussions involving printers Brother, the preference printer_printer_name.print_paper_data was established in 256 and when the user changed it to 1 that solved the problem of paper size. If you see a 256 here, you can change the value by double-clicking it or by using the right click > modify.

    Any improvement?

  • When the scaling in the layout, 1st page prints correctly, but the following pages were not properly/too large for the paper, parts of text missing scale

When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

The same problem happens in preview print and if I save the copy in a .pdf file

I tried all the fixes in the how to and others in various forums with no improvement.

This happens everytime I try to print a document from scaling upwards or downwards in Firefox.

I note the bug has been fixed and should in Firefox 21 right now, it will mean the use night http://nightly.mozilla.org/

My printer prints too high on the page. Regardless of the printer or document settings, the first line prints at the top of the page. This problem is not present with Notepad, but appears with WordPad and Open Office Writer. How can I pay for this investment?

I spoke too soon. I think that I was not successfully download these drivers because I received messages that the original driver has not been installed. (Don't know why it worked once.)

In any case, I found an old link to the HP site for my all-in-one model that provided a full hybrid software and driver download makeover. I installed it correctly and so far everything works better than before. Thanks for me toward the pilots initially.

It comes to seventh year of my printer and second course of youth. Now maybe he'll go another seven.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium: When copying from the plateau the copier will print only 1/8 of page, then stop.

Copier is towards the top sometimes & don't print that page of bucket 1/8, Athens he spits as if this one ends. Have unplugged the power cord & reconnected. Ran scans printhead & alignment. Off all night. All the ink levels are good. Still has not corrected it.

Print an entire page of the screen of the computer without problem. Printing problem just go flat.

    Hi @Wendy-needshelp,.

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem copying.

I understand that you use a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-all-in-one with a computer and Windows 7 when you copy from sometimes flat it will only copy and print 1/8 of the page. I would like to help.

You mentioned having unplugged and replugged the power cord. This is something that could be done. If you can, I reset the power and try to connect the printer directly to a wall outlet, if you currently use a protector or electrical surge extention. Sometimes the surge protectors can limit the amout of the power supplied to the printer.

There was an update firmware released in April, which can help your printer. You can download the update of the firmware and run it from your computer to install it on the printer. You can go to the HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g_n Firmware download page by clicking here.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • F2110 All In One HP: Printer prints blue instead of green

I have an All In One older printer that worked perfectly for me. I tried to print something last night and every time the green color was susposed to print blue print instead. I replaced the color cartridge and still have blue instead of green. I tried everything I can think but can not get the printer to print in green. The strange thing is that I photocopied a picture with lots of greenery and it printed perfectly green.  Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @andalcam,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.

I understand that you use a printer all-in-one of HP Deskjet F2110 with computer Windows 10 and green print blue, but the colors are just when you copy. I would like to help with that.

The fact that it can copy well little indicates that the printer should work. Here is a document of support designed to be used with this problem so you can be sure - colors wrong.

Then download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor to verify installed software. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printing software and printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

    Help

I have an old HP LaserJet 4250n.  It works well.  Recently it started to print several pages when I try to print something 1.

I had teacher business at my school trouble shoot her and she has not seen anything like that.  I set it up to print one (1) but copies keep coming, so far I have not let it continue to print enough to get to page 2!  Losing 15-20 sheets enough.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

What version of Windows are you using?

    Control Panel > printers folder

Right click on the printer > double click on the printer to open the print queue

Don't you see the documents waiting to be printed?

Click the printer in the Menu > select Cancel all Documents

    Turn the printer off

Unplug the cable from the back of the printer

Unplug the cable from the wall outlet

    Leave it for 5 minutes

Reconnect the cables from the printer

Turn on the printer and try to print again

I have a printer with auto print both sides of the page. It does not work. Why?

Some printers require a separate duplex adapter must be installed in the printer. He might be able, but the part is missing. Additionally, make sure that you use the printer drivers printer manufacturers, not those provided with Windows.

Print the computer name on each page using a network printing

    Dear all,
Help on this issue. I want to print the username in each page using the network printer. To identify which print this page.

As much as I know that you can't do this with every printed page, but you can use the separation pages (* .sep) and have this printed on a single page at the beginning of each print job.

Tip: Put the separator page in the folder % WINDIR%\System32.

    See here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/102712

.Sep file is just a text document, the following prints only the user name:

    Name $LUser $N
    $E

  • Multiple page printing slow when using narrow pages (LaserJet)

    Hello everyone,

I am running a printing service and using the printer HP Laserjet Printer 1606dn (I used also other models, such as the Laserjet 1006, Laserjet 1300 and other models).

I have a problem with the speed when printing on pages that are narrow as A4 (need to my client that I print on the pages of 26.9 x 18.8 cm). I need to print a large number of pages a day, and during the test with the same paper in A4, it prints very fast. But when printing on the page size to custom, the printer get a single page, impression on her (very fast), but then he wait about 15 seconds to get the next page.

It seems that there are sensors that detect the page is close that that of the A4, and if the printer do not get quick pages.

I test a lot of software options (like saying that the printer paper is 'standard size' (as Executive), impression in RAW format, and so on), but I ralized it's a problem of size of paper width.

    Can you help me please?

    Thank you

I found a solution. It has to do with the sensors.

In the upper part of the printer, where the book comes out, there are 3 sensors, one on the left, one in the middle and one on the right. They are little pieces of plastic that opened or closed from the optical sensors (I think).

When a page dies, it activates the sensors. When a page is close, active not one (or two) sensors on the sides.

I tested this way: I put my narrow paper not centered, but on the right. The sensor on the left, I 'activated', by placing a small piece of paper under the sensor (it seems like a paper go there). And... it works!

    PRINT FAST!

But as BLLuten said, it might overheat the fuser unit.

So, my question now... is what would happen in case of overheating of the fuser unit? (or, in the printers HP, Fuser will get overheated?)

I think I'll work with this little hack, but with a fire extinguisher to next to me, as a precaution.
