printer problems since the update to El Capitan

Since the update to El Capitan, my printer does not print.  I have a Pixma MX432.  Any ideas on what I should do?

    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

    The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

    Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

    Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

    The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

    Test in safe mode. Same problem?

    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

  • Problems since the update to Dreamweaver

    I am a student and one of my classes this term is to learn Dreamweaver.  I had taken the CC 2014 version and earlier this week, I did an update on Dreamweaver and other Adobe products.  Since the update, I noticed that I have more Design button above the screen.  I have only code, split and live view buttons.  Then my homework begins by creating a new site using the files given to us.  After you have created the new site I had to create a new html file I made.  With this new html file open, I needed to go down to the pane properties and click the Page Properties button.  However, this is not this button.  When I went into the menu change, the properties of the Page is grayed out so I can't select it.  Does anyone have an idea on what I can do to solve these problems?

    OK, I found the design mode, did not realize that there is now a drop-down arrow next to live that I had to click on and have a menu to select either directly or design

    You have installed at least one pirate app, initially from the Mac App Store. It contains the reception for a different application, downloaded by using an account that we can't control. You need to identify and remove the pirate app.

    I understand this sounds like a minor problem, but it's actually quite boring.

    I've recently updated to El Capitan and since then the small button that appears on the right side of a hard drive external when you hove top of ejection is missing. I use four external hard drives every day, and it of a lot of your time to eject all of them to order, click on each of them...

    I tried to restart the Finder, reboot, etc., but the ejection will never be displayed!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Try the Finder preferences > sidebar and uncheck and then recheck "Drives" in the section "devices."

  • LaserJet P1102w: Printer 'offline' since the upgrade to El Capitan on MacBook Air - using the USB cable connection to print

    Updated the MACBook Air to OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan.  In this process, my printer disappeared.  Apple support had to intervene to get the printer view and print - that was yesterday & took 1.5 hrs.  Today, I tried printing and get the error "offline."  I went through the steps of unplugging the printer and Router 2 x, but always 'offline' message.  Help please!

    I understand that you have some problems with your Mac OSX 10.11 for the Laserjet P1102w printer machine printing. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. On your Mac, click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
    2. Hold down the CTRL key and click the icon of your printer on the left.
    3. Click on reset printing system.
    4. Click on the button "+" in the lower left corner of the screen.
    5. Select your printer from the list.
    6. Click in the box next to and select your printer from the list.
    7. Click on Add.

    Since I updated lightroom yesterday to version 2015.6 the performance on my machine is incredible bad.

    My system:

    -MacBook Pro (retina, mid-2012)

    -2.3 GHz Intel Core i7

    -16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    -NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024Mo

    -OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

    Lightroom synchronizes actually 1400 photos, but even if I stop this process, LR uses CPU so I can't work in other programs like Photoshop (updated yesterday, too). I detected this performance problem as PS freezes when I used the Healing Brush tool.

    I don't know what's happening LR, but is not ideal for my workflow.

    Does anyone have an idea?

    If I close LR I can work in PS, even though the Healing Brush tool is slower than in the version before. But I can't always close and open LR.
