Printer PSC 1410

Hello

Please can anyone tell me if it is possible to set up the printer on a network through a wireless router? The manual describes how do via USB on a PC/laptop, but do not mention the routers. I have a USB port on my router.

Thank you very much

Pete

Hi Pete,.

Unfortunately the PSC 1410 all-in-One printer is not support wired (Ethernet) / wireless printing, however you can install the printer wireless using a HP upgrade priting wireless kit.

Hope for a quick response. Thank you

    Hello arturs143,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see you are trying to use your Psc 1410.

If you have not already, please throw a document on the scanner glass and try to make a copy.  If the copy works, we would be able to get the printer installed on your computer and try some impression.  If the copy does not work, we will need troubleshooting of the printer.

Please write to me at the time when you have the time with copy of test results.

    Thanks for your time.

  • HP PSC 1410 all in one printer scanner does not work

My printer, HP PSC 1410 all-in-one works fine as a printer, a scanner and a copier until I had a virus and had to reformat.  I have the original HP for the printer drive, downloaded the software undated and have loaded, deleted and reloaded the software 20 times.  The printer and copier works well.  Microsoft appears saying that scanner drivers are not certified, etc. and I can't scan to work.  I had put in hundreds of hours trying to get this to work.  I am 71 years old and I already have the computer work for my company 18 years ago.  My inability to solve this problem that bothers me more than anything else.  I need some young soul to help me that whip.  I don't buy a new computer or upgrade to Windows 7 until I fix this.  It has become a challenge, but I need help.  Kenny:

    Hi KennethPlaisance,

  • No scanning with hp PSC 1410 printer and a Mac

I used an all-in-one hp PSC 1410 with a PC running Windows XP and everything worked fine.  Now, I had to connect it to a Mac and I can't use the scan function.  I think that the driver is installed in my Mac does not include the scan function.  I looked for a driver on the hp site and everything I found was drivers with all functions only for Mac OS X 10.6.  My Mac is Mac OS 10.5.8.  Where can I download a driver that includes the function of scan to my Mac?  Or do I have to by another hp all-in-one?

    Have you tried this?

  • Install HP PSC 1410 on Mac

    Hello

I recently bought a mac and I can't seem to install my hp psc 1410. My dell recently broke down that's why I need to install it on my mac. I went through the HP support page to get a driver but there is nothing for me to download but when I try to add the printer it says I need to contact HP for the software. My mac is running on Mac OS X 10.9.2 Please help! Thank you.

    Hi sweetferry,

    Welcome to the HP forums!

I see that you have a PSC 1410 and are having problems to install on your Mac under OS X 10.9. I'm sorry to hear that, but I will certainly do my best to help you!

It is possible that the last update of the OS driver in was still did not, so I will propose that you start with the execution of your Apple updates. If once you run those, you get the same message, please download and run the update manually by clicking here.  Once this is done, you should be able to add the printer and use via the Apple software.

I would like to know how it goes for you!

  • PSC 1410: PSC 1410 permanently into suspended mode, on Windows 7, 32-bit

    Hello

Our printer was fine a week ago. Now when you start a print job Word on our laptop Win 7 (32 bit) of 2010, the task starts ever, and the printer status window describes the printer "pause".

After the cancellation of print jobs, restarting the laptop and printer, we always get the same message "Paused" at the launch of print jobs.

When I open the HP solution, next to the picture of the printer Center is a brilliant green check icon, and a clickable blue message saying printer is ready.

The printer works fine printing Open Office docs from another laptop, with Win 8.

Any ideas?  I couldn't find this problem in the forum...

    Thank you very much!

    Hi @Phil_Latam,

I'd love to help you with your PSC 1410. I understand that you are unable to print because the printer is in a paused state. Performing printing and Scan doctor could help. Printing HP and doctor Scan is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly solve common printing, scanning and connectivity problems, including but not limited to:

    • Connectivity:

USB: Check that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product works properly.

Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working properly.

    • Device Status Test: checks the errors of the device, such as paper, paper jams, stands transport and paper issues and provides instructions to resolve the error.

    • Driver: checks the driver missing or corrupt files.

    • Device Manager: check the problems in Device Manager that could prevent printing.

    • Device online: check if the product has been suspended or put in offline and then sets the State back in line if necessary.

    • Print queue: checks and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a newspaper for printing waiting to print).

    • Port Match: check the port settings for the HP product.

    • Device conflicts: check the conflicts with other drivers, such as the other brands of printers.

    • Ink issues: check the cartridges and the ink levels for issues that affect the print quality.

    • Print settings: check and adjust the print quality settings.

    • Test print: print a test page for the assessment of the print quality and provides options for cleaning and if necessary print head alignment.

    • Scan tests: check the scanning mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

Source:try the HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows

Click here to download and run the print and Scan Doctor > www.hp.com/go/tools

If this does not resolve the problem, after back and let me know if there are all the symbols except the Green checkmarks and what they are next of course. The key is not always easy to identify the key and check mart are in the green circle.

    • If you see only the Green checkmarks (), the tool did not find any problem.

    • If you see green sides (), the utility identified a problem and fix it automatically.

    • If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and requires monitoring of the user, but the step was ignored.

  • If you see a red X (), follow the onscreen instructions to fix the problem.

  • Thanks, I look forward to hearing back on your part.

  • HP PSC 1410 on windows 8.1

I am trying to install Hp PSC 1410 8.1 on windows but it does not work. WHY?

HP b110 works on windows 8.1?

    Hi Marc,

Iwould propose uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • HP psc 1410 could not set up the wireless network

I have a hp psc 1410, a desk, a laptop and a modem router combo and I'm trying to do it to where I can print to the wireless laptop, I read stuff online but can't seem to make it work. Help, please

Oh, a USB to Ethernet Converter is not likely to work.  If so, your router or your ISP should tell you how to do this job.

    I'm sorry.

  • Not to install the drivers for HP PSC 1410 on computer running Win 7 Ultimate (64 bit)

    Hi all!

I have been with my HP PSC 1410 with my old computer for a while now, without any problems. However, since the time I upgraded my computer and the operating system (Win 7 Ultimate (64 bit) recently, I find that, although the printer prints my documents and scan them in a certain measure, there is always an exclamation point icon that appears on the device, indicating that it does not work as it is supposed to. I tried to download driver from the HP site files, but the problem won't go away. Any suggestions, anyone?

Have you installed the printer according to the instructions from HP, which is to install using the cd of HP, or the full software from HP support features and only connect the printer when prompted, or just connect?
