Printer says out of paper, but not in Windows 7

I just installed my printer and print a few things before he rehearsed with the paper when it seems to be in properly, Ive tried several times.  And I was also wondering if its ok to disconnect the usb cable between the impression?

What are the brand and model of the printer?

One of the following problems may cause this problem:

·         The paper trays are empty or overloaded.

·         The paper is curved.

·         The printing side, or shiny side, the paper is not loaded in the tray upside down. For photo paper, always load the rough side of the paper to the top.

·         The paper is too smooth for the product.

·         The paper can not be engaged with the feed rollers.

·         The width of the paper guide is adjusted too tightly against the stack of paper.

·         The paper tray is not completely inserted in the product.

·         The paper in the printer driver settings do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.

·         The driving rubber rollers are dusty.

Method 1: Reset the product

  1. Press the power button to turn the product on.
  2. With the product under voltage, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
  3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  4. Wait at least 15 seconds.
  5. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  7. If the product does not light by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
  • If these steps solved the problem, it is useless to continue troubleshooting.
  • If the problem persists, continue to the next solution.

Method 2: Check the status of the paper and then reload it

  1. Replace any paper torn, dusty, wrinkled or twisted.

NOTE:

Use of regular, white, unused paper in the product until solve you the problem.

  1. Make sure all the paper in the tray is the same size and type. Never charge which coexist paper types at the same time.
  2. Press the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges.
  3. Make sure that the stack of paper has at least 10 sheets and not more than 25 sheets of paper.

NOTE:

Do not load too much paper in the product.

  1. Insert the stack of paper into the product and gently push the paper guides comfortably against the paper. Make sure that the paper is fully inserted in the product.
  2. Try to print again. If the problem is not resolved, try different brands of paper and different types of paper, a guy in a loading time. Then try to print again.
  • If these steps solved the problem, it is useless to continue troubleshooting.
  • If the problem persists, continue to the next solution.

Method 3: Adjust the paper settings in the print driver

The paper in the printer driver settings must match what is loaded in the tray.

NOTE:

These changes do not change the default print settings. Return default print settings the next time the program is opened.

  1. Open the document that you were trying to print when the problem occurred.
  2. Click fileand then click print. The print dialog box opens.
  3. Click on the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on the software, the button can be Properties, Options, Configure the printer, printer, or Preferences.
  4. Click on the tab which provides parameters of type and size of paper. The tab may be features or paper/quality.
  5. In the drop-down menu is sized , select the paper size that corresponds to the paper in the tray.
  6. In the drop-down list menu type , select the type of paper corresponding to the paper in the tray.
  7. Click OK, and then click OK again to print the document.

    I have Windows 8.1 RT. I think so. Microsoft says that I need to update to 8.1 and system says I have 8.1. Whatever it is, I also have a keyboard modern with the volume on it and VLC keys.

    Linux OSX, I am able to reconfigure the keys of volume to stay focused on VLC, but not on Windows. Is it possible to redirect these presses for volume for VLC constantly keys? Like, say, I am in Word and in the middle of a thought and can not switch to VLC, but need to lower the volume for JUST VLC right now cause of a strong scene, and yet I press volume down and Volume Windows falls down instead of just VLC.

    Please tell me there's a way to do it through windows or that there is a program that I can use for this unusual feature request...?

    Printer sucked into a pile of leaves, when I started to print a document, rather than a single sheet.  After removing the paper, I have re-load of paper to try new print job, but printing failed info and printer for this device says "on paper."   I was not able to clear this error despite the many re - start, re-loading paper, etc.

    Okay - the printer is fixed, but not by me.  My brother took a glance and first determined that there always pulls paper in copy mode.  Who determined that it was not a hardware problem but a software problem.   I don't know the exact details of what he was doing then, but I think he has reinstalled the driver after uninstalling it and/or the software of the printer.   He started again, and Windows 7 has recognized that the pilot and that solved the problem.

    Technical support did not come to the top with that answer - they said it was a faulty sensor and that it could not be repaired and I have to buy a new printer.

    Thank God we don't listen to HP technical support.

    I use a portable printer Officejet 4215xi and s Probook 4530 computer (windows 7). It will not be printed, but present in the queue. When I open the page of the printer in the Control Panel on the computer, it says that I have more paper. I'm not. I turned off the printer a couple of times and restarted. Still not printing.

    I've seen many times where the OS told me I was on paper, but the printer was never trying to print and have concluded that the operating system is sometimes.

    Sometimes, the problem was a simple like a loose cable, & I was able to verify that the operating system was disinformation me.

    First I would check my USB cable is plugged at both ends, the PC and the printer.

    If I'm connected wireless, then I'd temporarily install a USB cable to test the printer.

    You've restarted the PC? I need to ask this somewhere, just in case.

    You should check in your queue and ensure that the printer is not inadvertently paused.

    You will need to remove and reinstall your driver. You may need to delete all the print jobs before you delete the printer. And if you are connected through USB disconnect from the removal of the printer driver and then reinstall the printer.
