Printer/Scanner with Windows 7 problems
I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7. I have a HP Deskjet 5650 printer and Windows 7 does not detect. I have a HP Scanjet 5370C scanner. Windows 7 detects it, but tells me that there is no driver for it. I searched for driver downloads, but apparently it is not a driver for the printer or scanner. Can someone tell me how to solve problems - other than buying a new printer and scanner?

I would like to determine the levels of ink a printer 6122 with windows 7.
I would like to determine the levels of ink a printer 6122 with windows 7. Attempt to use the abortd installation CD with the message "bad BONES". I installed the driver 990c work around according to the instructions from HP. It is another way to get the utility package that came on the 6122 install CD?
Printing and scanning Dr. may not be able to detect if ink cartridges are not HP, HP inks no ink installed? You can try cleaning the contacts on the cartridges and power in cycling of the printer.
To clean the contacts, you can reference this document from HP: print cartridge error.

I am looking for a switch 2 x 1 printer compatible with windows 7
I am looking for a switch 2 x 1 printer compatible with windows 7 or drivers for Belkin F1U201 I
You could try to install Vista (32 bit only) driver in compatibility mode and see if it will work:
http://en-us-support.Belkin.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/2569/~/f1u201---2x1-USB-peripheral-switch---driverDepending on your current configuration, it may be easier in the long run to buy a wireless printer and share (if your PC supports wireless). Or buy a router that supports USB devices such as this one:
http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B00387G6R8/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=Center-2&pf_rd_r=0RE9YC0G15RM1KP1S3FZ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846In this way, you can use wifi and UTP to connect computers and printers.

Good evening
I just bought a new printer HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series with windows 7. I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and the same problem persists. I don't understand what that means. Should I please?

Pavilion J410: supported printer/scanner for Windows 8.1
Hello
8.1 Windows does not support my printer/scanner HP J410. It works on my laptop, but it's a pretty prehistoric, with Vista OS.
So, what can I do for that device installed on Windows 8. 1 as well?
Hi @deurs7,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!
I see you're wondering if the "J410 HP" is compatible with Windows 8.1. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.
You probably use pilot integrated window, which is causing you issues. I download and install the full feature software and drivers for your printer.
In order for me to help you better, I will need more information.
I'll assume you have the HP Deskjet printer, which of you have?
What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

Canon BJC 80 printer prints only with Windows 7
I installed Windows 7 on my laptop and downloaded the new driver for my Canon BJC 80 printer. The computer seems to recognize the printer, but it does not print. I do not understand why my printer is listed as the default printer and appear to be installed correctly, but does not print. My printer works already without problem with XP and Vista. Is there anything I can do to get the printer to work? Or my printer won't work with Windows 7? Thank you.
I have Canon BJC-80, working on Windows 7 Sony Vaio laptop: USB-parallel interface did not work. Bought and installed StarTech 1 Port PCI Express (x 1) basic parallel ExpressCard ($70 +) that supports two-way equipment. Removed the previous installation of BJC - 80 and reinstalled the printer on LPT3 (was on LPT1). Worked perfectly. Hope you have an ExpressCard interface to use; If this isn't the case, maybe there are other bidirectional port LPTx more robust handling solutions. Found this solution of amateur astronomers who were trying to get the old CCD cameras to work via the printer port. They found the USB interface / incomplete and required parallel bidirectional handling. Nice to have this small printer with me on travel now. I hope this helps.

HP Photosmart C6380 does not scan or print photo with Windows 8
Just bought HP M6/1125DX/15j with Windows 8. My current HP printer is a HP Photosmart C6380 All In One. The printer does not work, but the photo and analysis part icons no longer appear which were on my front desk. I tried to download the entire program which said would update my printer, but after 6 tries to one hour each, at the end he just said my download has been cancelled. Is there a chance that my printer will be supported by Windows 8 and how do I do that if I can't download. Or am I stuck buying a new printer? Thank you
Hello
The C6380 is supported in Windows 8 and has a Solution Full Download. I would try using the Print Wizard to download and install the drivers.
Try this link for the Print Wizard.

Performance on a Satellite Pro A120-185 with Windows Vista problems
Can someone help me with this.
My laptop is a new Satellite Pro A120-185 with Windows Vista.I had my last configuration less portable, but you know what? He was faster!
I'm supposed to have cetrino duo 2, 2 GHz and cach of 4 MB, FSB 667 MHz, RAM 1 GB, even though they are at 533 MHz, 100 GB 5400 RPM HARD drive / MIN.
It is slow, not only starting, programs opening, plays something, the browser and even to copy from the CD to the hard drive sometimes give me time 4 days left!
Clicking on something takes forever. What's wrong?
Need less to say that with vista no and I mean none, of my devices are busy. Dongle Bluetooth, USB disk, printer, NAS, and and...Hey dude,
Please don t forget that Vista has been installed on your laptop and the additional tools of Toshiba and the utilities that control many additional features!
There is a huge difference between Vista and early Microsoft operating systems. The Vista eat computer resources and many devices old don t work or cannot be installed because the 3rd device manufacturers don t provide Vista drivers!
In my opinion an upgrade to 2 GB ram would increases the performance of laptop.
All programs and utilities could be loaded more quickly -
Install Ubuntu with Windows 10 problems.
Hello
I had problems trying to install Ubuntu with Windows 10 (and Linux Mint also has problems). When I try to mount my hard drive (with 10 Windows on it), it says that Windows is put into hibernation. I want to install Ubuntu with Windows and not to clean install. Ubuntu detects my external hard drive and said: «There are currently no operating system installed...» ', but it does not detect my hard drive with Windows 10 on it.
Thanks for any help,
DaComputer Guy
Sometimes, when the quick start is activated, it can cause Linux to correctly identify the Windows partition as being in the State of hibernation. Try to disable the quick start and see if it solves the problem:
1. open the Control Paneland turn the mode icons
2. in the list, go to Power Options
3. in the left pane, click choose the power buttons what
4. scroll down and uncheck the Quick start
