To make this real simple.  Go to the printer and to the control panel of the printer print a config page or network config which will give you the ip address of the printer.  Now on your computer, go to devices and printers and choose the item add printer, then local printer and on the next page, click on the create a new port and in the drop-down menu, choose standard tcp/ip and then click Next.  Type the ip address of the printer and make sure the box to query the printer and automatically select driveris checked and then click Next.  The computer will find the printer and load the required drivers and set up the printer for you.  If this does not work, report back with what happened during the installation (error messages, etc.).

  • PIXMA Pro 100, printing setup error

I am new to printing, I just got my Pixma Pro and so far have had terrible results.  1/10 times I get beautiful prints, the rest are terrible, faded, and as they have a gray film on them.  I think that its either a management or color paper management problem. I try to use 8.5 "x 11"Canon Pixma Photo"with finishing mate.  I print with Photoshop. I have the same problem if I click on Photoshop color handle or manage color printers, but prints nice 1/10 has been made manually setting the document to "glossy" under the menu print settings in Photoshop CS6 instead by selecting Matte is the obvious choice.

When I chose Photoshop treats color management I get prints of same gray no matter what printer profile I select. Although it seems more logical to choose matte Canon Pro - 100 3 paper photo because it's what I use, once again nice 1/10 prints have been achieved selection Pro 3 Platinum photo paper.

I don't understand how it works.  The picture I am trying to print is here, green and nice blue. http://www.Flickr.com/photos/27816471@N06/9076033417/in/set-72157634198994950 it seems gray and washed out when I print, sort of like the printer is 1/2 more ink, but he says is not.  Black and gray are good.

What should I do?  I know its operator error, but I can not re - introduce one of the environment to get decent prints of this, so I'm considering junking or return. really disappointed.

He is a. (at least on the matte premium.) was a packet of information about 3 x 4 in plastic sleeve, in that the paper is conditioning?

Should be slightly whiter and not quite as calm as the side back side printing. Very subtle.

  • Printer Setup error: insert the floppy

I have an OfficeJet 4315 AIO, but I've seen this same problem with a number of other HP printers.

Shortly after the installation of my printer, whenever my computer starts, it displays a message indicating that the printer installation disc must be reinserted to complete the installation of some program components not specified.  I looked on Google and on some sites of HP forum.  I found a lot of information to suggest that the problem is a known bug in older versions of the solution Center HP - research program for a specific version of Adobe Flash. It is not because a more recent version of Flash has been installed; and continuously displays the "insert disk" message accordingly.  I found a fix claimed for this Solution Center.msi (a patch) bug, which does not work for my JO 4315, or at least 3 other printers HP belonged to friends.

Is anyone out there knows a universal fix for this apparently well known problem?

    Thank you.

Try to uninstall all the software for the printer.

    Reset.

Download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.  Do not use the CD for the printer.

  • Problem after connecting via the USB port of the printer. Error 0x0000007a

Recently, I plugged my HP Deskjet2360 printer via the USB port on my HP laptop (running w7 Home premium 32-bit) and can not print at all. When I try to print a test page I get the following message ' operation could not be completed. Error 0x0000007a. Operation failed.

My usual Setup is to have my printer connected to my desktop (Windows XP Pro). My HP laptop is connected via a wireless connection to my home network, which is also connected to my desktop computer. Of course, this means that I have the office turned on to be able to print from my laptop.

Everything worked great until I decided I'd rather have my connected printer to directly to my laptop via USB.

When I connect the printer via the USB port on my laptop, windows installs the software and reported no problems. Yet when I try to print a test page, I get the mentioned error. When I then reconnect the printer to the desktop and try to print a test page to my network, I get exactly the same error message. The office and the printer still work fine, it's just that I can't print from my laptop.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on my laptop with the USB connection and the network, but it still does not work. The resolution of the problems on the laptop reported no problems, and the printer is set as default printer. I also get an another error msg when I click on the Preferences button in the printer properties: address of the 0x5aeba4f1 function caused a protection fault. (code 0xc0000005 exception) Some or all property pages cannot be displayed.

The only way I found to get around this is to use windows restore and restore my laptop before the point when I connected the printer via the usb port.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

This error 0x0000007A describes the data area passed to a system call is too small. ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER
You can try to uninstall and reinstall printer driver and check if that helps.

    Here's how you can do:

    1. open programs and features by clicking on the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click programs, and then clicking programs and features.
    2. Select a program and then click on uninstall.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

After you have uninstalled the driver to restart the computer, this should install it the appropriate drivers for it. You can also try to download the latest driver from the manufacturers website and install it.

  • Cannot install on XP Pro SP3: "Service Pack 3 Setup error - the system cannot find the file specified."

I am trying to install SP3 on my XP Pro.  I get a notice on my screen, stating: "Service Pack 3 Setup error - the system cannot find the file specified."  Don't know what I'd do.  Thank you.  Peter glass

That's good news. I think you also need to analyze of rootkits being on the right side. So, now:

Search for rootkits with a program SPECIALLY designed to detect and remove the (aswMBR):

Download this file to your desktop. Double-click the icon to run the program. When the opportunity to download and install the latest Avast definitions do.
Run a scan. Results in red indicate that this was not a false positive! Do you need to remove the rootkit (including "FixMBR" if necessary).

And finally, leave your PC on overnight and search for viruses, using this site:
Once we are convinced that your PC is clean, here are my instructions (just in case where you still cannot run batch of Geek-Tech file, etc.):

    1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links for the installation files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

(You need to install IE8 AFTER SP3! Trust in me.)

    IMPORTANT NOTE!

It is VERY important to ensure that Internet Explorer is at the level IE6 before installing SP3. In case you have IE7 or IE8, you must uninstall it / them, using the Control Panel Add / Remove programs. Let us know if you need assistance with this.

    Once again:

Make sure that IE is IE6 level before installing SP3. You can go directly from IE6 to IE8 after SP3 has been installed.

    2. disconnect Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

4 set up a clean boot. The last thing you need is for a program that runs in the background to interfere with these updates! (It happens!) For more information:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

(Note that this is the same as setting up a "Diagnostic boot.")

    Reset.

5 install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

6 switch to IE8. Restart TWICE.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

7 unscrew the clean boot. (That is, return to the Normal startup).

8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

Start | Control Panel | Security Center

9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

10 re - enable automatic updates.
