HP Photosmart C309a will not computer scan.  The HP Solution Center does NOT open.  Can print but cannot open the HP Solution Center and command the C309a to scan a document.  Using Windows 7.  Tried to download new driver and also used the original installation disc without success in the restoration of the HP Solution Center that is used to control the printer to perform analyses.

Click the Start button on windows at the bottom left

    Click "all programs."

    Clicked on "HP".

Under "HP" clicked "Photosmart C309a Series"

    Click 'add a device '.

A program was launched which has detected my existing C309a and when he was finished the HP Solution Center has been restored to its previous working state.  I did this using the wireless connection.  I always have not plugged the laptop in the wired connection on my desktop that I don't want to get out of this comfortable chair and address this issue more. He now works in wireless mode, and that's good enough for now!

    I appreciate the info.

I suggest to remove the printer from your printing system, using this document: uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once you have deleted, I suggest to check and repair disk permissions: function to fix the permissions of all utility disk drive.

  • HP3070 analysis via the USB port, but don't scan the network, printing is ok? Used to work, but no more

MyHP3070 deskjet will scan and print via USB link, but don't scan the network, printing is authorized via netowrk. Used to work but not anymor. I have windows XP laptop. I tried HP doctor but in vain. It says that it cannot connect with the driver. Tried to uninstall and reinstall from the CD and also downloaded driver via HP web page but does not. Any ideas what to try next? Also have Norton 360 software virsus and tried extinction of firewalls, etc., but it doesn't seem to help. What is confusing, is that it is used to work but now is intermittened, it won't work at all.

I managed to uninstall with REVO Uninstaller. This removed the driver original from the Add/REMOVE program possibly a result.  This then allowed me to install the driver that you recommended to your link above. I ran out of time yesterday to test if the printer has worked with the new download, so I'll have to try again later today to see if it works. I would grab with result.

  • HP Ink Advantage Printer AIO F735 don't SCAN TEXT MODIFIABLE

    Hello!

IM familiar with the PC and printer troubleshooting but with regard to the question above, I had to get intouch with your technical support.

    I bought a NEW printer.

Difficulties with the HP AIO F735 IM, there not the software to scan Documents to editable text , and other options that have come out with him as he claims in the printer user's Guide.

I even uninstalled and reinstall the software several times, I even downloaded the software not found on your website thinking that there is something wrong with the CD, always the same, no change. It scans the document but I save / pass it to software processor, but its an image or picture and it is NOT editable.

I even installed on a different computer to see if it would work but still the same, not a great success, that the options are always the same no. SCAN text to EDITABLE.

I tried the CD for the OCR of navigation software, I can't find.

Your support cat doesn't know a thing except to uninstall and reinstall. An agent named SERGE KUMAR of service cat has even had the nerve to tell me to put the CD in and look for the installer of the OCR, but I've done it before and then he just FINISHED the cat.

I sent an email already on the issue... but not yet answer...

CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME

PS to all owners of HP F735 also missing the OCR software in their HP All in One printers:
    1. you need to uninstall everything about HP f735 specially if you have version 12. You can use Revouninstaller to remove HP software because there are some applications that are not visible in the Add/Remove Programs list. With Revo, you can organize the programs according to the manufacturer.
    2. then, you can use this driver HERE and make one "Installation Advanced / Custom" and select the software you need including OCR.
    3. do not select the option on the download of updates rightaway, set it to "No, not at this time" and simply follow the guests. If the driver is not installed correctly or if you get a msg on "hardware driver cannot be installed" it just go to Device Manager and find the entry that has a "?" and right click then update the driver. This problem occurs because the driver is not "signed by Microsoft' just click on continue anyway. This will happen 3 x then goes to the installation of the software.

so... I went to the place provided, found my printer specific and downloaded the software, making sure to select the Scanner option in the download softward options when you open the file. Downloaded fine and I had problems again and again of the process.

I unplugged the printer, plugged back in and press the small icon at the top left that looks like a paper with a ' * ' above it, which began some download/update that I let run along the. This way one once I tried agai, and all the same problems.

How can I fix it! I need to scan a document and I don't have a usb at your fingertips. • HP Officejet Pro 8500 first: Printers that HP Business will scan for OneDrive (SkyDrive)?

    Hello:

The first part of this isn't really the problem, it's just to explain why we are looking for a replacement for this printer.

Our office is currently using an HP all-in-one Officejet 8500 Pro Premier Series. The charger only really works when he wants (regardless of the resolution of the problems) and we arrived recently on an error message "pump" engine to a standstill at startup (which does not seem to impact, printing, scanning or copying that much). However, our new issue is one that many other experience with this particular model, and it's cyan not print do not at all. I cleaned the heads and blue printing, still does not want to show everyone. Yes, the cartridges are full; No, we don't want to pay $70 to replace part of the printer, when it has enough problems as it is.

Now, we are looking for a new printer, and my controller wishes to be a brand of HP or a Brother brand printer. We still want an all-in-one, which a lot of HP, however, I need to know which ones will scan actually OneDrive cloud service. I see on e-print and other stuff, but I have no idea what this is. We want just to make sure that our scanner will be useful to our business, and we do a lot of scan-to-OneDrive, but it's a lot of time when the charger does not work all the time.

You have any suggestions for HP printers? Do you know what models or do not Scan-to-Cloud services offer? I had a very difficult time trying to find one who has had this in the description and specifications.

    Thank you!

EDIT: Sorry, I had to fix the title to 'scan' instead of 'print '.

    Hello

Scan to OneDrive is much easier, just set up your printer (any web connected printer) or normal so that your computer is connected to scan to a location (Destination). For Windows 8.1, new printer can take OneDrive during the installation process.

You can see on the image above, I did a test before the answer of your question (previous answer - print for OneDrive).

    Kind regards.

  • Scan pictures with a tinge of gray, don't scan clear or bright.

I have a HP Officerjet 8600 Pro Premium & whenever I Scan photos, there's this gray top cloudyness.

This just started, we had it for a few months now & he used to digitize images without any problems at all.

It seems that the light may be dim or not as brilliant, would this be the case? What I need to replace the light or can - I simply play with some settings to brighten it?

Or is it a major problem?

    Here is the problem:

It scans even empty space with a gray wash.

    Help, please!

    Hello JKM01,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that the premium Officejet Pro 8600 does not scan at full capacity, the scans are very gray. You can try a few things before watching in a replacement, such as the cleaning of the glass and white plate, plug the power supply on a wall outlet if connected in a power surge or power bar and updates the firmware.

Vertical stripes, lines or streaks on Copies, faxes or scan

Although this document does not completely describe your problems, the diagnosis is the same and covers the basics. Check the firmware of the printer can be done through the menu on the front panel, this will allow you to guide you through the steps: get the latest Firmware and updates.

I would like to know if that helps the issue.

  • my desire to 120 hp don't scan

my willingness to want 120 hp is connected WiFi to my computer laptop mac 0s and has a connection, it has always worked perfectly, but now it will print the docs, but it won't SCAN... I reinstalled software twice... I tried solutions... Please help... D

First, try scanning with Capture of Image (in your Applications folder).

If you are using Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion and have HP software for Snow Leopard before (either from a CD that is not marked as compatible with 10.6-10,8 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, Lion or Mountain Lion and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard uninstall of the old software or installed new software on top of it) You must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Press on and press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall, it IS the Option of the scrubber, no button is labeled "washer".
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now reset the printing system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

I did everything above. I have also turned off the printer and unplugged for a few minutes. I rebooted several times. Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Hello

Thanks for your help. I have a successful solution of Apple that I wanted to share with other people who may have this problem - it involves an impression through the preferences system, a bit bulky but not too expensive:

    Go to system preferences

    Printers, Scanners &

Choose Scan from Print/Scan above the name of the printer

    Open scanner

In the dialog box that appears:

Make sure that "scan to" say where you want to be saved, otherwise you can not know where TI saved.

    Press Scan.

(If the dialog box opens to the top immediately, please be patient.)

Is the case.

I have a Mac, under El Capitan. Updated to the latest drivers printer... still does not.

    Very frustrating.

I have not been able to scan from the printer control panel in a long time, but I've always been able to browse webscan.  All of a sudden which is no longer available.  The saved Web page reflects my printr IP but the links on the homepage, scan, settings, etc. do not connect to something more.  I ran the Print and Scan doctor and that was a failure.  If I select the printer from devices and printers there are no scan options at all.  I am on Windows 7 and do not know when this ability is gone I do not often scans.  Any ideas?

    Hello

You try to scan via Webscan or perhaps via the HP software?

When you select your printer in devices and printers, you can see the following options?

    -HP Printer Wizard

    -See what's printing

    -Setting preferences

    -Customize your printer.

If so, uninstall the current software from following programs > HP > HP Envy 100 > Uninstall.

Then download and install the latest version of the software below, which should fix the problem and restore any functionality back.
