  Oh, you must keep the firewall on the installation.  The installation software configures the firewall for your installation.

  I reinstall the printer with the active firewall.  Go to control panel > printers & devices and delete the printer.  Then click Start > all programs > Hewlett-Packard > C4700 series and 'add a device '.  All this with your firewall active.

  Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

  The problem is that by default HP print drivers installed by the upgrade of Win10 often do not work. I have two HP printers and neither one worked after the Win10 upgrade. We also receive a lot of messages of other people with the same problems.

  You must download and install the full feature software and drivers for the printer.
  
  Remove all the drivers and software that Microsoft install for the printer.
  
  Then unplug the printer and install the software.
  
  Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.
  
  Once the installation is complete, restart.
  
  You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

• How to print from my HP laptop for my Canon Wireless printer?

  I have a Canon MX410 Wireless printer is currently connected to my HP desktop computer through a USB port.  I would also like to add this printer to my laptop but it can not know!  I tried the Office of the instillation of the printer, but it did not work.

  Most wireless printers turn off wireless when the printer is connected by USB.

  I could not actually find a statement to that effect in the Canon documentation I've come briefly, but I suspect that is what is happening.  Unplug the USB cable and see if you can now get the printer works wirelessly with the laptop.

  If it works, re - configure the installation on your desktop to access the printer through a "Standard TCP/IP Port". It may be easier to simply uninstall the printer on the desktop and reinstall it by selecting "print via network" or whatever the Canon calls it during the installation process.

  I see that you want to print some pages of a document with several pages of your HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. Can you please let me know the current operating system that you use? Please follow the steps listed below:

  1 open the document you want to print

  2 go back to the file in the upper left corner and scroll down to print

  3. now your Printers dialog box appears

  4. in the section of pages, select Pages

  5. When you have selected Pages enter the desired page numbers, in this case 2-19

  6 valve apply

  7. now print the document and it will start printing on the selected page

  If you're connected via wifi direct, you can get the password by pressing the direct wifi on the printer control panel for 3 seconds or more, and it should print.  If you connect via wifi direct, when you open your settings on the ipad wifi, you will be connected to a network with the name of the printer that is incorporated into the name of the wifi network (and the direct button wifi will have to be reactivated at the front of the printer).

  If you are connected via your wifi router at home, your wifi password should be printer on your router somewhere.

  Have a XP PC with a Canon Pixma 310 connected via USB.  Before Uverse, I was able to print from my Vista laptop that is used wireless.  I checked to make sure that the printer is shared on all parameters.   You use a different wireless router now that yopu use Uverse?  Is the printer connected to a PC in your local network, or is it wireless itself?  Open your printers folder and right click on the print queue.  Click on properties.  Select the Ports tab.  Scroll down to the port that you use for the queue.  What is an IP address?  If so, is this the right place?  If you have changed wireless routers, the local address may be different from what it was with the old router.   For years, I had connected to my (Win 7 32 bit) HP1020 Printer PC.  A computer laptop (32 bit Win XP) is also on my home network (wired) and anyone could print perfectly.

  I replaced the laptop with a new device of Win 7 64-bit.  Installed the latest drivers.  Objects created (MS Word) and print from the new laptop are sent successfully to the printer - but get stuck in the queue in Win 32 bit 7 PC.

  Installed and executed the Driver Detective - and everything is OK reported.

  I can print successfully (yet) of my PC.  (BTW - when I restart my PC, all elements of the print queue are printed successfully).

  How can I stop the impasse in the print queue?

  Running Windows 7 32 bit home edition and I am trying to print 9 Explorered Internet consistatnly.

  Since the purchase and installation of the 5520 printer, I've been running the questions where the jobs are in a print status in the queue but nothing comes out of the printer.  The printer is configured to print from WiFi and happens on all 3 of my computers.  I need to remove the task from the queue and then stop and restart the spooler before work service removes it from the queue.  I can print from Word, Excel and other applications, but when printing from the browser it happens at least once a day.  I would say that if a website has a button "print" the problem does not occur, but when you select just print in the menu of the browser, it happens more often.

  It becomes very annoying and would like this to be resolved.  This never happened with my Canon Pixma printer that has replaced this printer.  I ran the HP printer diagostics and there no question.

  The problem is caused by a conflict pilot between IE 9 and the print driver. The solution is to uninstall IE 9 and use IE 8. Normally, this solves the problem. If this isn't something you want to do, there are other options. First of all, you can try using another web browser. I'll include links to Firefox and Chrome downloads. Another of the options, is that you can try to use a different printer driver. I would add as well the instructions below. Hope that helps.

  To use a different print driver for printers HP with Windows 7:
  1. click on the start menu.
  2 click devices and printers.
  3. right click on your printer.
  4. Select printer properties.
  5. click on the Advanced tab.
  6. click on new driver.
  7. click on next.
  8. Select HP in the first list.
  9. Select Deskjet 450 in the second.
  10. click Next.
  11. click on finish.
  12. click on apply.
  13. click OK to close the window.
