Printing with Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Photo Viewer
When you try to print in the above programs (Windows 7 replacements for the old photo and Fax Viewer), there are several issues that I can't understand:
1. I can't find paper of A4 size, only in small sizes.
2. There is only a single print option: ' picture full page ' and not the ability to print size the image half or quarter size as in the old WP & FV.
Where can I find settings similar to WP & FV by which I can choose the page size and the size of the photo on the paper?
Thank you

How to remove copies of photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery"
I have 3 or 4 copy of my photos in the live photo gallery Windows
How can I remove these copies without doing it one at a time
Hello catnfuzz,
You will not be able to find duplicate files and delete everything automatically, the best way to get rid of duplicates in Windows Live Photo gallery would be to sort the files by name, compare and delete the files.
There are also several third-party programs that you help find the duplicate on the computer files, and delete them. I suggest that you use your favorite search engine and look for the file duplicate, find programs.
DISCLAIMER OF THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE:
Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
I suggest that you post your question on the Forums of Windows Live for a better answer to this question. This is a dedicated forum for issues related to Windows Live Photo Gallery:

Windows Vista seems to have two galleries. Windows 7 has Windows Live Photo Gallery, and it is much more difficult to keep track of the images. They are a MESS constant, cannot find what I want, Windows Live Mesh does not seem to match these two formats of my two computers. If I could just put all the photos in the order of at least cronological, but no, it's a MESS.
Windows Photo Gallery is not available for Windows 7.
To view the images in chronological order, click on the 'View' tab and click 'Date '.

Windows Live Photo Gallery - whenever he opens it asks if I want to open JXR files. I ticked the box "do not ask again", but apparently still every time. How can I get rid of him? What are the JXR files anyway?
If you don't have files JXR, in Windows Explorer, right-click one of them, thenOpen with. You should be able to select WLPG right here.BarbMVP - Windows/entertainment and connected homePlease mark as answer if that answers your question -

Printer all-in-one HP5640: HP5640 all-in-one prints photos in Windows Live Photo Gallery
Configuration using mobile device installed printer driver using the supplied print CD. Update driver software. Network printer by wireless to computer & smartphone.

Hey @JaneScott,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!
I understand that you have problems when printing from Windows Live Photo Gallery on your computer Windows 8 to your e-all-in-one printer of HP ENVY 5640, whereas yours continue to letter paper tray size by default. I would like to help you today with this printing problem. Can I please you follow the steps below to correctly configure print settings in the print dialog in Windows Live Photo Gallery.
1. load your Photo paper in the Photo tray on your printer
2. open an image you want to print in Windows Live Photo Gallery
3. click on file and select print
4. in the print dialog window, make sure that your printer, paper size, qualityand Type of paper are all set correctly for your specific print job
5. then, click on the Options button in the lower right. In the print settings dialog box, click on the printer properties.
6. then, change the Paper Source to Tray Photo. If it is currently set to "Main tray" Please click the main tray option and it will fall to allow you to select the Photo tray. Click OK once carried out the change.
- NOTE: If the size of the paper presents an exclamation point, this means that your Photo Tray does not support the selected paper size. Click the drop-down next to the paper size menu and choose a format that does not show an exclamation point.
7. as the main print dialog window, click print at the bottom right
Your document should print according to normal now since the appropriate paper tray.
Please let me know if the steps solve your photo tray paper print issue. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

Windows Live Photo Gallery does not use default printer
When I print from Windows Live Photo Gallery it always by the incorrect printer default. By default, it uses the fax printer. All other characters to the right printer progames be default. And under priners Control Panel, it shows the green check mark on the printer default right. If I change to a photo printer, it prints very well. But then the next image always defaults to the fax printer. I use Vista 32 bit. The version of Windows Live Photo Gallery is 14.0.8064.206. The printer is a HP C7180. And I have the latest version of the driver.
Is there a way to get Windows Live Photo Gallery to use the default printer? Thanks for your help. Harry Karr
I think that the part Ne03 refers to a network or shared printer that is connected to your machine. For what it's worth, I have this entry in my registry.
HP Photosmart C4380 series, winspool, Ne02: so your entry (to me) seems pretty good.
Have you clicked on your HP printer and select the option "Run As Administrator" / Properties / Security and checked permissions, such that manage printers, records management, to ensure that everything is all right in there?
I'm still thinking possible "Bug", but are happy to be contradicted.

Original title: Windows Live Photo Gallery problem
I used to have Windows Live Photo Gallery on this computer and it was working fine. For some reason, he took off. I tried to download again and get a message that says I have to sign as an administrator for the download to work. When I check my user account, it is said that I AM the administrator.
What should do? Thank you
Try to create a new administrator account and see if you can install the program. If you can, your profile is corrupt.

Uploading photos
When I'm in my heritage and try to upload pictures from Windows Live Photo Gallery, all photos don't come upward in an image format - only the flower box Orange photo library so can't find the pictures I want to download. It's so frustrating I want to just upload a picture of my family tree.
Try to directly browse your pictures folder
and see if you can download the photos. -
Window Live Photo Gallery Photo deletion
Can someone help me please? I deleted the duplicates of photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery. When I did this, Wndows also deleted the originals! Why?
How can I get the originals back?
What can I do in the future, when I want to delete duplicates so I delete any copy of these photos?
Thanks a lot for helping me!
Simply place the cursor on the thumbnails to see a larger preview of each photo, this will help you find duplicate images.
If you have several grouped duplicates, you can delete them by pressing the "Ctrl" key and clicking on each of them to select. Then follow the steps to remove regular - all selected photos will be deleted.
