Printing is very slow on windows 7

I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 ultimate Vista ultmate, I have a Konica color laser printer connected to my network

with the Vista machines when you print it takes less then 2 seconds to hear the printer turns on and the print job

now with the windows 7 machine to 4 minutes (not a lie)... and each page print takes 4 minutes to print, I've updated all my files and im under the latest drivers for my printer.   I tried to turn off my NAV 2009 and my firewall and still the same... also the same im weatehr office printing or simply send a test page.

I even tried difrent parameters on the page of the printer queue and does not queue

Hi tonyinma,

When you advised that you updated to the latest drivers, just to check, did you get the site below?

http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/Search.aspx?HT=

Also, in the configuration of the bizhub make sure that the default device is defined as print not copy.

I hope this helps! Debra

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

This is entirely based on compatibility to a level beyond what is offered in the standard "Windows compatibility" section.  In addition to this, everything you said had absolutely nothing to do with the question.  This has nothing to do with starting or whatever it is in the same direction.

What is happening is that something is interfering with the normal functioning of the game because of changes in the kernel of the operating system because it has been updated / rewritten since the inception of Windows XP.

    @SOVIETTION
The most likely solution for you has nothing to do with the videobuffer here is how fix you it:

Find the Red Alert installation directory and find the file * md.ini.
In revenge for Red Alert 2/Yuri, it will be 'RA2MD. INI"(feel free to make a backup of the file before proceeding)
Open it with your favorite text editor (Notepad for most people)
Scroll down until you find the section [Video]
Just below you will add this line-
    VideoBackBuffer = no
Save the file in the same place and load the game.

    Enjoy!

The VideoBackBuffer = none works perfectly, but in my case I also had to set the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2.

    Bravo for you!

    Hello

I had the similar problem with my Satellite P10. After installation of SP2, the startup procedure takes much longer. Check please the processes that start to run and disable some of them if you n t need them.

Have you installed SP2 or it is also to the recovery image?

In my opinion, it is not specific for certain just usual laptop models. My second unit (without SP2) starts a lot faster.

  • Internet very slow on Windows Vista (wireless) (originally said Windows 7)

I apologize is not getting back to you earlier.

When you download and install games and other you don't normally need to keep what you have downloaded in the downloads folder. Some downloads are wide to remove could free up some disk space! You need to do on a regular basis to keep on top of the problem...

The content of your video in total 414 GB file. You might look at some of them again? If this is not the case, delete those that you no longer need.

You have a lot of icons on the desktop. Take a look at these and remove those that you never use.

When you did above select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning disk to emptying your trash, delete temporary Internet files and other selected options. I recommend also you click Other Options, System Restore and delete all but the last system restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

  • Internet very slow on Windows 7, I tried a lot of bugs with no luck

I have Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I used it without a problem for several months. But lately I had a very slow internet connection, no matter what program I use to. The same computer dual-boots with Windows XP: XP connects to Windows 7 to 0.3 Mbps and 8 Mbps.

Security software: Avast and Comodo (use every two months with no problems).

System Restore has been disabled by mistake, there is no restore points for trying.

I tried EVERYTHING to fix this! I tried:
-disabling auto tuning (this greatly improved navigation on the web, before pages would take ages to load, but the download speeds are still slow)
    -Disable IPv6
    -Disable Windows Firewall
-disable the Windows Defender real-time protection
    Re-setup of ethernet card
    -Re-installation of network card
-uninstall the Windows updates (those I was actually able to uninstall)
-boot by using the system configuration to start without starting programs or non-Microsoft services
    -reset the TCP/IP stack
    -safe mode with networking
    -disabled the DHCP broadcast flag
-change the heuristics of Windows scaling (since he says this overrided other parameters) and the provider settings control congestion

Is there anything else I can do?

  • HP Deskjet F300/Q8139-60001: HP Deskjet F300 all-in-printer is very slow.

I got this printer from 2007, when I had problems I uninstall and install the product and upggrates, but the last 3 weeks after I change the slow start print cartridges and print any of this, communication to align to print is so slow that the printer seems impossible... Hopefully I'll find solutions. If not... problably I need to give a way. My printer is connect to my Hp before Clubhouse worked very well.

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges.  I don't know if the F300 will print in ink backup mode, but try the following: remove the black print cartridge and print a test page.  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.

  • Internet very slow on Windows 7

A few months ago, I bought a new computer with Vista and experienced terrible internet speeds.  We have dsl and the other computers in the House all the fast internet in xp, so I was sure it was a problem with vista, as described here: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistanetworking/thread/74f41557-4dd7-44f5-ba39-4b6009520aef

I was happy to install 7 because I didn't know it would solve my slow internet problems, but... it didn't.  My internet is still very slow, and the machines running xp always move at the speed of light.  This happens in IE and Firefox, and internet is always slow, even using a different wireless adapter.  Any suggestions?

  • Very slow initial Windows Update

    Hello

I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 32 - bit with Service Pack 1.  The initial check of updates has managed to update updates Microsoft, but the initial check for updates of the race since (oh I dunno) 15 or 20 minutes...

Is this just normal planned waiting for initial windows update time?

Something has hurt very very badly with Windows Update.

I agree.   I did a new install of Win7 SP1 yesterday and left Win Update running from one day to the next day - it was always check the updates when I got up this morning.   I thought some of the customizations I made before you start the update might have messed up things so I decided to reinstall this morning.

First I tried the installation option by using the option to use the latest version on the web - I canceled that after that he spent an hour "collection of information" is then returned to the installation from the CD.   Once I had a fresh install of Win7, I immediately started the update.   It was now 'check updates' for about 3 hours.

One thing I noticed, is that the history of the update shows that the update agent (7.6.7600.320) was installed during the installation.  It seems to me that the Windows team needs to get some people working on back out this version of the update agent so that Windows can actually exists to update himself.

  • Why Thunderbird runs very slow on Windows 7 CAUSE: McAfee

Installed Thunderbird worm 31.6.0 on my desktop Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 32-bit, 4G ram, Intel i5 processor clocked at 2.66 GHz,
a few months ago and he ran very well in the beginning.
Now that I've used for some time it slowed considerably.
All Thunderbird functions slow clicking to select a group of messages, even deleting just one single message, opening a message, etc.
It has compact records on several occasions, and I did not have a large number of stored messages (maybe the total of all files, including waste, spam, sent, etc. is about 500).
I use McAfee Anit-Virus, which ignores analysis attachments to emails.

There were reports of slow performance with Thunderbird on Win7?
Maybe my problem is caused by McAfee?
    Ideas, suggestions are welcome,
    Thank you

Good. You can then mark the thread as "Solved" Please?
    Thank you.

  • Cannot download or is very slow since Windows updates!

My computer was working fine. Could he download without any problem. Windows has a few important updates, so I installed them. All updates were for MS Office, except IE8. Since then, I can't download anything with Filezilla. It timesout. I can get the files downloaded through CoreLite, but it runs at a rate of 3 kb/s (compared with 80 + kb/s) before. Download on 4shared is too 3 kb/s. download speed was cut in half or even slower!

I reversed the update iE8, but that did not help. Ive been Googling for a month now, trying to find a solution, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how to solve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's my info and what I've tried so far:
    Windows Vista
Excluded for the Windows Firewall programs include FileZilla and Core.
Tried system restore, but a date before the update was not showing.
I have a router, but this computer is connected directly to the modem.
Cleared cache... and restarted ten-gazillion times.
    Router factory reset.
Turned off modem for 10 seconds and rebooted.
Tried the FTPES setting, but it would not connect to the server.
    Disabled firewall and tried.
Cut of the AVG resident shield and tried.

I run a home based business that depends on me to be able to download files. Thank you very much in advance for the help with this!

Use the systemrestore to go back before installing updates. Now install every single update and look at what update causes the problem. "A programmer is just a tool that converts the caffeine in code" Deputy CLIP - http://www.winvistaside.de/

  • Equium L40 very slow and Windows Defender found a Trojan horse

I was wondering if you could help me with a situation.

Turned my laptop on and Windows Defender found a Trojan, so I chose all clear. Then it arrived 5 minutes later and I pressed on delete everything again.

Afterwards my internet is incredibly slow and often freezing.
Opening files and folders often locked up but I could still click on the red X if it took 30 seconds to close after that I clicked on the X.

I get now random pop ups not even on the internet.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hi Kieran

Have you tried different antivirus software?
I would recommend this. I use a software called Antivir freeware antivirus and it is nice.
It of free and you can download it from various internet sites.

In addition, you could use an Ad-aware to kill this Trojan horse. It of also for free and maybe it could be useful too.
Google just to download it for free.

If you won't be able to remove the virus from your system by using programs like Antivir, antivirus Norton antivirus, etc. and then use your Toshiba Recovery CD.

    I think this should help.

    Good bye
