    I have a Satellite Pro S200 and the same problem was with my camera. It s is not a hardware problem, it s more a driver related issue No. So, the best thing you can do is update your bios and keep your drivers up-to-date. Just check the download Drivers Toshiba site and make sure you have the latest drivers installed.

    I had resolved my stuttering (core2duo 2.33 Ghz, 2 GB RAM) by updating all drivers...

  • Compatibility problem with Vista and iTunes

    I downloaded iTunes 9 on my Tobisha laptop Satellite last night and put about 2.5 GB of music on it. I didn't upload the music from the internet. I used MP3s, I had for a few years.

    When I went to boot up the laptop this morning the loading process took some time, but it never loaded to the login screen. I just see the bottom of MicroSoft. Is there a compatibility problem with Vista and iTunes? Maybe I put too much music on my laptop?

    Boot in safe mode and delete iTunes and all the music I downloaded would solve the problem? Or it is less simple than that?

    Don't know where to direct this question if any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    iTunes is compatible with Vista and there should not be any problem.
    Yesterday, I installed iTunes 9 on my U400 and everything happened correctly.
    If your laptop can not boot Vista correctly, then you should try the repair feature.

    Turn on the computer and press F8. Now you will see the advanced boot menu.
    Now, you have many choices.

    As a first step, you should try the option called: last good known Configuration (Advanced)

    If this will not help and the Vista will not start then try the option called repair your computer. This option displays a list of system recovery tools, you can use to repair startup problems, run diagnostics, or restore your system.

    If that does not help, then you will need to retrieve the unit using the Toshiba recovery disc or HARD drive recovery.

    Until yesterday, I was able to print OK using Windows XP and a Lexmark Printer series 3500-4500 with wireless capabilities.  Reported network test wireless (on printer) and report indicates that there are no reported problem, also did the diagnostic test and which shows no problem either.  I can't print and documents are just stuck in the print queue - please can someone help, it drives me crazy because it's probably a very simple solution.

    It is possible that comes to mind that your printer has received a new IP address of your router (this could easily happen if you have several computers and other devices that connect to your wireless network).

    Find the IP address of the printer of his network diagnostic page.
    Click Start > printers and faxes, right-click the printer and select Properties
    Select the Ports tab, then click on the button "Configure Port" (be careful NOT to click anywhere in the list of ports)
    Make sure that the IP address in 'Port settings' is identical to that shown on the diagnosis of your network printer page.

    To avoid this problem in the future, you must configure the printer to have a static IP address.  See your printer User Guide for instructions.

    Choose an appropriate subnet address (i.e., has the first 3 groups of numbers the same as the other addresses in your network) but who is not in the range of addresses assigned by the DHCP server on your router.  See the User Guide of your router for more details.

    Say the HP support? Often with an HP printer, the solution the easiest is to unplug the printer, uninstall the HP printer via Add/Remove, runDisk cleaning software and restart. Then download/install latest drivers/software from HP and only connect the printer when the installation says.

    Of course its possible allways the printer failed.

Not have not yet contacted technology because they have closed before I could call.

    4. called HP to inquire about the search info from HP SDP. on his goal? HP said he works as a keylogger you sell stuff. But what was weird is after the system crashed and repaired, there was one day that he has opened three times in ten minutes! The behavior of the application has changed after my OS has been repaired. Then after that I indicated HP where I found information on this program, the program disappear from the list of "run without permissions" in internet options explore > manage add-ons > run without the permissions list

    5. one day, I'm working on a word document, and the printer stops abruptly, impression. No amount of turn, or by clicking 'Cancel' will get doc from the printer queue. MS literature said this could be a security issue. The printer says "printing of documents", but no printing at my end.

    This problem is compounded when I delete browsing history and try to refresh the internet Explorer. That activity seems to take pieces of the program Samsung printer with it, even if I had excellent results in the past with Samsung printers and their downloads, and I never had the damaged printer driver to exercise this activity in the past.

One thing I noticed is that, after removal, some keys on my keyboard don't work, and I've read that other HP users encounter the same problem with the keys on the keyboard. The keys that seem to be affected are the keys that automatically open and close the door of the CD burner. Not a problem, because it is another way to open and close the drawer. It's one that HP must improve. In regards to your advice on the printer driver you have been 'right on' new! I reinstalled the driver using my own CD (not the latest driver, but one that works!) I think that the problem with the update of the Samsung driver that I downloaded from the Web site doesn't have some kind of problem. It is very unusual for a driver to Samsung, because I got excellent results with printers Samsung and free updates downloaded from their Web site. The first Samsung printer I had worked so well, for so long as the small rubber roller that takes the paper and it feeds through the printer wore out until the printer is, literally in a 100,000 pages printed after that I bought for about $80.00 dollars! So, I went out and bought another one, and that's what I use now. The printer works fine now, except for some reason, the icon in my taskbar notification area, allow to check the printer the status of jobs, cancel or repeat printing as before. Once. from time to time, a job stuck in the queue for the printer and will not erase unless I unplug the printer from the central unit. Nor will it print. But since I reinstalled the driver, this has happened only once. With the downloaded update, it happened all the time.   • Problems with Vista start after the update of Norton.

    I had problems with start-up since Norton updated and re-printing my subscription a few days ago.  Initially, the splash screen would freeze, I'll try to re-start, only to be refrozen.  After several attempts, with different amounts of time in between, I tried to start a 'normal', but are also intended to "launch fix."  Microsoft solution is to go back to "settings" before the new and improved Norton Security has been installed.  "Norton isn't too happy with this solution, warning: your firewall is disabled, you are vulnerable to all viruses known to humanity" and Norton resets security and the volley continues.  At some point, the screen may freeze, and I have to start all over again.  Had my Vista Home premium SP1 and SP2 installed this past year, patches and I have had no problems since, so far.  If anything is not easy? The pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.  The garbage man comes tomorrow, I'm tempted to put my computer out of the trash.  Help. Please, I beg you.

    Boot safe mode with networking.  Download the following tool and run a full scan to exclude the malware.  If the system is infected, Norton will be compromised and would not be able to detect malware.

    Reboot - still problems with startup?  Uninstall Norton - use the uninstaller to remove all traces.  Restart your system and reinstall the software.

    By your message, you have tried all the troubleshooting. The print head is integrated to this printer and is a part which cannot be replaced. Buying a new printer is the only option, but HP offers printer ' trade-in Trade-up '.

  • DeskJet F380 print slowly with Vista 64

    I recently bought a new laptop upgrade from XP to Vista 64.  My HP printer worked fine with XP, but now with Vista, it takes about 10 minutes to print a single page - very frustrating!  Judging by what I saw in other blogs, this has something to do with the way in which it is installed.  In my case, I have to connect the USB cable and began to print.  I need to download a new driver?  I need to change a special setting?  And comments are greatly appreciated!

    Have you checked the settings of the printer? Check the PRINT quality and see if it is set at BEST if not, select QUICK project or in PROJECT MODE. You can do this by going to control PANEL and click on PRINTERS. Right-click on the printer icon and click on RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Then left click on PROPERTIES, and click PRINTING PREFERENCES. Click the PRINTING SHORTCUTS tab, then check on the PRINT QUALITY.

  • Envelope printing problems with M401dn

    When you print the envelopes with a M401dn Pro LaserJet, the return address is not properly merged, and there seems to be some random jobs printed in the buffer zone; the main address is printed correctly and properly merged.  I noticed the problem with greeting card envelope, and I've never had problems with before on three printers LaserJet previous (LaserJet II, LaserJet 5 p and LaserJet 2100).  With a few #10 envelopes, the return address is properly merged, but I always get the tasks in the buffer zone.

    I get the same problem if I fold a piece of paper in half and then pass it in the envelope feeder.  If the envelope feeder is empty and the paper feeds from the main Board, the return address is properly merged but I always get the tasks in the buffer zone.

    There no problems when you print just the documents.

    I seem to get the same results using the PCL 6 or the PCL 6 UPD driver.

    Any ideas?

    Hmmm... I could have sworn that I updated the paper type "Envelope", but obviously, I did not; with that restored, the problem seems to be fixed. Apparently, the fuser is powerful picky about the thickness of the paper.

    Anyway, if someone experiencing similar problems, the paper setting could well be the cause.

    I had problems with my photosmart for awhile. For a while, when I would plug into the usb port of my computer, I had received the error "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer. I used to ignore the error and used to print anyway.

    Yesterday, someone pushes my printer without unplugging the usb by behind. Now, when I try to print something, I see in the queue of the printer, the error message saying "communication error: the computer is therefore more able to communicate with your printer." "Turn off the printer, check your printer connections and look for errors in the printer and turn on the printer. I got it done and straightened my computer as well, but it does not work. After that, I opened the printer utility via my computer to print a test page, and it worked really, which is strange.

Turn off the printer, check your printer connections and search for printing errors and turn the printer. I would like to help you today.     What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

    Turn on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation. The USB cable should not be more then 6 feet. Make sure that the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. (not a station or a hub) Try a different USB port on the computer. Check that the USB cable is connected to the appropriate port on the back of the printer.

    Check if the Mac sees the printer is connected.

    Go to the Apple, select about this Mac, system report, select USB.
    Do you see the printer listed?

    Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:
    Close all applications.
    In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.
    Double-click disk utility.
    Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.
    Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

    Restart the computer...

    Reset the printing system:

    Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

    Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.
    Click on Printers & Scanners.
    Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.
    Click OK to confirm the reset.
    Type the name and the correct password.
    Click OK to reset the printing system.
    Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

    Try to print again.
