  Have to / want to completely uninstall all the HP printer package in order to do a clean INSTALL.  I have Windows XP and this printer has been working well for a few years now, but stopped a couple of weeks.

  Slow death: initially, could not print but Scan ok & the window Solution Center was fine.  Then Scan will not work, but still the window SC was fine.  Now, the entire batch is dead.

  • uninstalled via the control panel configuration/add or delete - it's just a dead-end; does absolutely nothing, but can see the entries of HP products.

  The R4 were a model in 2012, not 2011. Thus, the R3 has never had support mSATA, unlike the R4.

I investigated and found out that I did.  I tried unistalling it is but it present a particular file that I can't uninstall but its this same file, which also prevents installation... the name of the file is the following: C:\ProgramData\adobe\setup\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AB0000000001}\Acroread.msi for Adobe Reader XI (11.0.12).  I tried to manually install it and same thing.  I deleted all the history and cache, start and restart the computer.  I'm also getting the error message "the installation source for this product is not available.  Verify that the source exists and that you can access.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Sorry to post bad newspapers. Having a problem with the msi logging. Follow-up of the KB314852 (a second time). In my view, set logging works.  Question aside about msi logging, KB314852 and assistance by using Group Policy. Step 3 k gives a path to "Windows Installer". When I followed the path, there is no "Windows Installer" item not listed and I could not find a way to display the item to "install Windows".  Suggestions?
