PRO 3500: HP change 3500 DVD-R PRO

Hi all

I have a big problem and I can not solve.

I accidentally broke my DVD - RW today and I bought a new one.

I removed one of the panels and screws, but unfortunately the dvd also has screws on the other side.

I would like to ask how to take off the other side of it too? I tried all day today, but I can't seem to find a way to get to the also deleted left panel.

I also searched the internet, but unfortunately I can not find an answer.

Please help me.

Thank you

Hello:

Please see Chapter 7 on page 70 for the procedures for removal and replacement of the optical drive.  That's the micro Tower.

If you have the small footprint, see the procedures in this manual for the section of form factor small.

According to the manual, there are only two screws.

    Hi t.,

As far as I know the laptop is fixed with a screw on the lower side that you can remove. But I think we should remove the keyboard as well to remove what the CD/DVD drive. So if you are not familiar with the disassembly of the laptop, you will have to help a technician for laptop.

Otherwise, you can search with Google to find Web sites, they show how to disassemble the laptop. ;)

Of course I use the appropriate media, but I don't know for the privilege of the administration (on my laptop is one login).

  • Cannot change region DVD

I changed regions on wmp in region 4 (AUSTRALIA) for region 1 (US) to watch a dvd. He said 4 changes are allowed before getting locked. As this was the only one the first time I went to come. Now I'm trying to return to the region 4 (Australia) and it comes up with an error stating

"Unable to update region setting. The drive reports that it requires media of the destination (region 4) Please insert the right setting and try again"

I tried to change with the region 4 dvd in and out of the laptop but still get the same error.
I checked for updates of pilot etc.

    Tips greatly appreciated

    Hello

Maybe you have a second hand laptop and the first owner was already changing the region code who knows?

But in this case you can do nothing. Only, you could try to reinstall Vista, and then try again.

  • Cannot change region DVD on the Satellite settings

    Hello

I'm not very savvy but im having a problem with my computer settings satellite phone in computer science.
I changed the region of the DVD 4 times and am changing for the last time again to region 2.

However when I do this it says that I have no administration privileges, but I am the only user on the computer and, therefore, the administrator.

Anyone know what I can do to get the player to change the region. It is said that there is a change to the left, but do not allow editing.

    Any help would be useful.
    Thank you
    Katie

I didn t do all the experiments with the evolution of the region, but it is really strange, you were able to change it without any problem and now all of a sudden you need administration rights. It is also possible that the last time the passage of the system not fail that it will be granted by the administrator and because of that there is this security alert.

Try a new account with the Fund Administrator rights and try to do it again.

  • Equium - How can I change the DVD region?

even thought it says I have 1 more change available. I have a Pioneer DVD - rw dvrkd08a ata device and he tells me he needs a region 2 original disk and insert the disk and try again, but I just go around in circles.

How to make that one final change from region t rear 2?

    Hello

The DVD region is limited and can be changed to 4 or 5 times
If the option is grayed out then that would mean that you have already changed this time view settings and now it is not possible to s more.
In my experience it of not possible to disable this limitation

Of course, there are a lot of different information about this and many people are trying to solve this problem by updating the firmware using a few pirates and unofficial software but I would not recommend this because it could damage the STRANGE
In the worst case the ODD won't read and write Ant records

  • change in DVD quality for export in record 8.5 GB APE10

    Hello world

I have not found anything on the following problem:

I use APE10 and have done a 1080p50 video 16:9 of about 2 hours length.

When exporting to DVD (4.7 GB) file, I am not able to adjust quality settings. The quality of the final product is low and the DVD folder has a size of about 3.9 GB. When changing to the folder option 8.5 GB DVD output is always 3.9 GB. There is no option to adjust the flow of DVD, in order to use all of the 8.5 GB for better video quality.

I hope I could explain my problem well and are very happy to help.

Thank you very much and see you soon

    M.C.

The options you have for a DVD are the "Size to content available space" checkbox and slider (which is not active unless you uncheck the content adjustment). PRE automatically adjusts the flow.

    You don't understand who will lose quality by the downsizing of 1920 x 1080 (2MP) to 720 x 576)< 0.3mp).="" that's="" the="" nature="" of="" dvd="" standard="" definition="" v="" full="">

If you want to play video on a DVD as a commercial DVD player, this is your only option, but depending on what you're trying to do with the finished video, there may be higher quality solutions for you.

    See you soon,.

  • Can Portege R700 - I change the DVD player with HARD drive?

Is it possible somehow to put a HDD drive where the DVD player is in Portege R700-1CZ?
    Any help appreciated.

  • How can I get my DVD to be released in windows live photo gallery? I want to change my DVD

I would burn my master DVD to the hard drive on my laptop, so I can open the video in Windows Media Player. I hope I can edit it and burn videos from family.

Just copy the files from the DVD to a folder on your
    hard drive.

The following steps may be worth a try...

I guess this isn't a commercial with DVD
    copy protection? If_yes_read on...

(FWIW... break the copy protection on)
    commercial DVDs is illegal).

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
is located in, and then select Explore or open to view the
    Directory of the DVD.

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive. Or you can copy the
    full VIDEO_TS folder.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG or. AVI and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
Re - import new video from .wmv to for editing.
(Note: in Windows 7 you may be able to import the)
VOB files in Movie Maker just as they are)

(FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
    file to edit)

If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
another .wmv format would be a good choice.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup270.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup270.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • How can I change my dvd back to Windows Media Player association?

    CyberLink Power DVD Ultra 11

I installed a Pioneer Bd writer and had to have the software to read BD disc.  I have installed Cyberlink Power DVD Ultra 11.  There are no questions on the installation who asked me if I wanted to play any type of disc with Power DVD.

This is what is happening.  No disc starts with Windows Media Play not yet regular DVD or CD.  They all raise Power DVD.

I have my default player for Windows Media Player, but that makes no difference.

    Thank you

    Tom

    Files

I agree that he should have asked you which types to associate the files, but you should be able to re - join those you want with WMP just by right clicking on one of them in Windows Explorer and then selecting open with, choose default program & choosing WMP while checking that the box "always use this program...". "is defined [always, that's when even I think that].

[Open the dialog box can be a little misleading.]  [If WMP is not one of the choices available to you, look immediately under these choices & there is a small arrow down which will reveal many more choices including WMP].

You will need this procedure for each type of file you want to associate to WMP again.

    Discs

You will also need to go into Control Panel, Autoplay set discs to use WMP again.

  • PE13 ignores changes to DVD menus

I try to make changes to the menu popcorn.  I used Photoshop CS6 changes (rid of decorative blocks, changed the font of "Scène 1", etc., changed the highlight for "scene 1", etc. for an arrow head).  I saved the main menu as 'en_US_popcorn_pal_s_mm_prv_mm.png' and the submenu as 'en_US_popcorn_pal_s_sm_prv_sm.png '.  Then I loaded PE13 and open a saved project.  I went to the Menu Tools/movie and choose the submenu 'Entertainment '.  The thumbnails showed my Popcorn menus has changed, but when I have selected and click on continue, the original versions of Adobe menus appeared in the preview window.

I want to do this because I want the menus text only and I don't like the standard highlighted the method to change the color of the selected item.

(I tried to clear the Cache - although I didn't kknow if it is relevant!)

    Help - please!

Steve - Thanks for the reply.

It's a little curious - I spent a lot of time, change and save PSD files but either got the effect described in my original message or no effect at all.

Yesterday, I looked more closely at the PNG files and noticed that they were tiny (thumbnails, as you say) compared with my PNG files, so I made all the layers involved in my visible PSD files and them flattened layers, which I renamed it 'Layer (0)', having noticed that one of the PNG of PE files had a single layer with the same name.

I then reloaded EP, referred to the project, changed the menu theme for my modified and - hey presto! -everything was hunky dory!

To confirm this, I repeated the whole process with another theme of menu and that worked too.  I don't have a clue as to why my new 'method' works, but noted each step so that I don't forget!

Once again, thank you for taking the time to answer my original message.

  • DVD different region on a Satellite Pro M50

There is a DVD I am wanting to buy, but unfortunately it is only available with region 1 encoding, and I'm region 2. He'd still be on my M50? I looked at the specs and employment mode, but it does not say (or if she is I do not understand it :() and I can't find any other region 1 DVD to test it.) Any help would be appreciated.

    > Would it play on my M50?
No, you will not be able to play this DVD if your DVD player has been set to region 2 code.

Usually, you can change the DVD region code 4 times. Then DVD region code settings are locked, and you will not be able to change more.

    On my laptop, I can change the codes of region as follows;
Go to my computer-> properties of CD Player / DVD-> Hardware tab > brand CD/DVD drive button and press properties-> DVD Region

Here you can choose the necessary country (region)
