Pro M177fw MFP stuck on initializing

Brand new, right out of the box. Here's what I saw: the initialization is not complete, but I can tap on the Home icon. Noticed a symbol above the button of toner. Please I need your help fast. Thank you

I see that has not finished initializing and toner light is to inform you of a problem. It seems that some packing material has not been removed. Please take a second look.

Use this guide to get instructions on how to properly load the toner cartridge in the printer: setting printer to printers HP Color LaserJet Pro M177fw multifunctional material upward.

If the problem persists, please contact HP or put the printer in the point of sale.

Contact HP for service in all countries except Asia-Pacific.
What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:
Step 1. Open the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter the product number or select Auto detection
Step 3. Scroll up to "still need help? Fill out the form to select your contact options.
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: contact HP options - click Get phone number
File number and phone number are displayed.

    I can scan is no longer docyuments from the top of the charger page - scan starts but just hangs and then I can not re - activate the scan function until I have to force it to quit.

    Make sure you have the latest drivers installed:

    In the Apple menu, click about this Mac, and then software update.

    Click on the main menu store reload the Page, and then select allow for the update check completed and install any publicly traded Apple / HP update.

    Is there a way for the printer to "beep" when a fax is sent successfully? Right now you have to look at the screen of the printer to confirm the fax has been sent successfully. Just old habit I guess.

    I would like to help.

    If it's a wonderful idea, the Laserjet printer does not have this ability.

    You can configure the printer to print a confirmation page when a fax is sent successfully.

    I agree that the tone would be better.

    To set the confirmation page, you can enter the menu setup then the fax menu.

    I would say for updating the firmware of the printer.

    Here is the link just choose your operating system and select the firmware download.

  • LaserJet Pro M177FW MFP: Laserjet Pro MFP M177FW stuck in initialization

    I bought a LaserJet MFP M177fw Pro a few days, and during installation, he immediately found himself in initialization mode. I tried to restart the printer and reinstalling the drivers, which are correctly installed according to my computer. It is plugged directly into a wall of output, not a surge protector and I have tried unplug, wait a minute and reconnecting.  I tried to update the firmware, but the installer think that the printer is in error mode and will not go forward.     The scanner works fine when I said to scan from the desktop, then the computer and the device is certainly speak to one another.

    In addition, the printer is supposed to make a loud click and rapid when it is turned on?

  • Laser Jet Pro M177fw: Printer stuck in the boot when powered.

    the devive won't initialize mode on its own. I can press the home button to access this screen, but nothing works from there. It will not print a configuration report and I can't find a sticker with the serial number anywhere on this unit. HP support isn't much help without the serial number.  Help!

    I see that the printer is stuck in initialization mode and you cannot find the serial number of the printer to provide that assistance from HP. I would like to help you today.

    Typically the serial number is located on the back of the printer, or the printer, there should be a sticker with barcode with listed there.

    What happened before this error message? (paper jam, paper changed a toner)

    I have provided a few steps to try to see if we can solve this problem.

    Disconnect the USB/network/FAX and turn the printer on standalone.

    Check and remove any material packing inside the printer and toner.

    Do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
    Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
    This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    If the problem persists, perform a supply line by unplugging the power cord at the back of the printer and maintaining the power button down for 30 seconds and in the case of a power switch keep the power switch for 30 seconds before reconnecting it to power.

    Update the firmware of the printer. Drivers for MFP HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw.

    Hello, I have a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw, when I try to copy in color mode, the printer gives me the newspaper (on the LCD screen), color copy is limited. I did not have a password for the printer. and this error is seen when you use both scanner feeder and flat bed.

    The gesture would be to try to restore the default settings of the control panel of the printer.  Conflicting configurations on disabling color copies would be destroyed and normal again.  Resets are normally under the admin menu or the control panel service.

  • LaserJet Pro M127fn MFP: Stuck "print fax page 1.

    I had to receive two pages of fax. After that the first page has come through it is stuck "print fax page 1. The second page is never good. I can't print anything. I already disconnected my printer and plugged in. When the rear connection, it uses the same throughout first fax page and gets stuck again. Happen from nowhere at least once a week for the past few weeks.

    Please perform the below mentioned steps that should solve the problem.

    1. Tap the Setup icon (gear with the wrench)
    2. Tap the gear icon, which is the icon (system configuration).
    3. Tap the first option which is the language.
    4. Press the down arrow key or arrow upward.
    5. Tap the first option which is Yes to change the language. Touch Home button to go to the main secrets.
  • LaserJet Pro M177FW MFP never sleeps, Calibrates every 15-30 minutes

    I have just bought a LaserJet MFP M177FW Pro and had it work. The only questions I have are:

    (1) the printer never sleeps any value I offer it to the sleep timer

    (2) the printer re - calibrated every 15-30 minutes, which is quite noisy

    I tried power walking several times and have tried to unplug the power for 30 seconds and plug in again. The problem persists.

    Can anyone provide assistance on how to sleep at work and how to get the printer to stop the calibration?

    I was actually able to solve this problem later, but none of the above helped suggestions at all.

    What seems the problem changed when the printer performed calibration. I put it to "immediately" instead of "after 15 minutes. The printer has slowed with success since the change.

    I don't know if you've tried or not, but I would like to uninstall software and the driver that has been installed then retry the installation of the printer.
