problem audio iTunes 12.4

I use iTunes 12.4.3.1 with an AMD Sempron 145 2.80 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and 129 GB free on my hard drive.

Whenever I play a song, the sound stutters. Reminds me of back in the day when I want to play the music on a PC of shit and he couldn't deal with things like the open disk drive, so the music would be kind of slow down and get all the stutter-y and jerk-y for a few seconds. But that shouldn't be the case now, and the stuttering is not match with anything else happening on my computer, which means that the problem occurs even if nothing else happens. The audio quality is almost constant. It makes my library of music essentially useless. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

You could try to set the audio bitrate.  See:

12 iTunes for Windows: iTunes playback preferences

The parameters must match your settings in the sound control panel in Windows.  Don't know if that's the problem.  Just a thought.

  • Problems between iTunes and iPhone/iPod...

    Hello

The problems started when iTunes has stopped to see my iPhone when I connected it to my computer. Then, an error message is appeared when I plugged in my iPod, telling me to iTunes it was detected, but there was a problem, so I needed to unplug. If the problem persisted, I had to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. What I did. No good, same problem.

Then I happened to get a new iPhone, but once again, iTunes does not see. So I followed these steps I found on some forum:

Right-click the Apple Mobile Device entry in Device Manager and choose Update driver software.

    • Choose "Browse my computer for driver software."
    • Choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    • Click the disk button. Note: If the disk option is not present, choose a category of devices such as Mobile phone or storage device if the list and then click Next. The disk button will appear.
    • Click the Browse button and navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
    • Double-click the file "usbaapl. (This file is called "usbaapl64" If you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see "usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. instead).
    • Click Open in the disk window. Then, click Next and then click Finish. Windows installs the driver.

I couldn't find the bit of the file "usbaal" so, so I just typed in the "C:\Program" bit... "and installed.

Now, iTunes tells me that my iPhone is encrypted with a password, but there is nowhere for my type a password. It may be a problem with the fact that it is a new iPhone (actually it is second hand but completely reset), but the fact that I have problems with all my devices makes me think that the problem is most likely with iTunes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm starting to go crazy from not to be ably to change any music around and thank God for iCloud or I wouldn't be able to back up either...

Also, all devices that I connect so that open freezes iTunes, yet once it thaws in itself rarely after waiting an hour or more but crashes again soon after.

I tried everything short of wiping the disk and start from scratch (not an option to be honest): followed every single link help I found on Apple's site, used several malware scanner, defragmented, made several clean install iTunes and its components.

  • The problem of iTunes sync old version 10

    Can someone help me please.

I have an old windows laptop running windows Xp. It has old iTunes (version 10.03.54) installed on it that has more than 2000 pieces of music on it. Only a small number of these securities were bought through iTunes, the majority are tracks that I copied from old cd

I now have an iPad Air and when I connected to itunes to this topic, it shows that tracks that I had purchased and no one copied from cd.

I don't see a way to copy these missing pieces of the old iTunes on my new iPad... can anyone help please?

The most recent (and probably final) version of iTunes which takes supports Windows XP 32-bit and Windows Vista 32/64 was issued in September 2015. It includes support for iOS 9, although not Apple music. The Apple software update, it will not necessarily be looking for you and may ask you to update when you are not. The iTunes download page can't give it to you or the other.

Someone suggested that my drivers may need to be updated.
How can I find the specific drivers needed?
Anyone else had a similar problem with itunes?

    Thank you

Why do you want to update the driver for laptop?
This has nothing to do with the laptop.
I guess that this is related to the Apple software and I recommend to reinstall this kind of things together.

I had also some problems with the iTunes software. I put like that, but I need to synchronize the files with my iphone and I had to reinstall it many times to make it work.

  • Apple support has been unable to solve my problem with iTunes not responding do not. He started all of a sudden. A few weeks after I've upgraded to Windows 10. Reinstalles/uninstalled iTunes and nothing. Now, I can't even Apple support for help.

All the sudden, iTunes has stopped responding. I click top and nothing. I spent over an hour with a Senior Engineer at Apple's Support, which does not give me a ticket number so now Apple can't even find the person I talked to. This person had to remember and it's been 2 weeks. I called Apple back Support and since they can't find a ticket number they told me that I have to wait until this person reminds me. This engineer had me remove and reinstall iTunes with all the other components that go with it, I run it as administrator, pretty much did all the troubleshooting I had done on my own. I have now to sit and wait, hoping that this senior engineer at Apple called me back. It's poor and poor support for iTunes. If anyone has any advice, please share.

    Greetings Dani56777,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

I understand that you run Windows 10 and you must update iTunes to the latest version so that your iPhone will be recognized when connected. I do not know if you receive an error when you try to update iTunes or not.

If you need information on how to update iTunes, please follow the instructions in the following link.

Download the latest version of iTunes for Windows - Apple Support

If you receive an error or alert, you can consider removing iTunes and all of its associated components and then reinstalling fresh iTunes on your computer. That would give you the latest version of iTunes. If you need execute this process, please follow the steps described in the following article.

Remove iTunes Control Panel and its associated components

Use the control panel to uninstall iTunes and software components in the following order:

    1. iTunes
    2. Apple Software Update
    3. Apple Mobile Device Support
    4. Hello
    5. Apple Application Support 32-bit
    6. Apple Application Support 64-bit

On some systems, iTunes can install two versions of the Apple Application Support. What is expected. If both are present, do not forget to uninstall both versions.

Do these elements in a different order, uninstall or uninstall only some of them. This could have unintended effects. After you uninstall a component, you may be asked to restart your computer. Wait to restart your computer until you finish remove all components.

  • Problems installing iTunes on Windows 10 12.3.1.23

    Hello

I had this problem for two weeks, I don't know how to solve, and it would be good to have help.

Two weeks ago, I noticed that after I had plugged my iPhone into my PC 5, only Windows Explorer recognized iTunes didn't.

So I tried to see if there were updates for iTunes, but no update has been published.

I used Windows 10 tools to uninstall it and then tried to install it again.

Before that, I used CCleaner to make sure that no left, files or old registry key remained in Windows.

Then I tried to install iTunes 12.3.1.23 by downloading from the Apple Web site and by opening the Setup program.

Since then, every time, when I try to install iTunes, installation work until it says "Restore action", and a new mask appears, where it is written that there is a problem and that Setup could not install the software.

After trying this for 3 - 4 times, I went to C:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update and tried to run all executable files in this folder, which contains installers for each program, Apple needs to install iTunes on PC separatelly, distinguished by the installation program downloaded by the Apple because one website you can download contains all the facilities of programs in a single installer.

I managed to install all the software, with the exception of the Apple Mobile Device Support (version 9.1.0.6), who, as program controls when a unit Apple is plugged to the PC, and it has not worked since the beginning and is the one who made me do all this, in my view, is the same as the one send me problems during the installation of iTunes when I run the installation program downloaded by the Apple Web site.

Anyone have the same problem and/or know how to fix this problem?

    I have 10 Home Windows (64-bit) version 1511.

    Thank you

I tried to re - install iTunes with the latest version because I had received an "error 7" message instead of iTunes. You had covered the steps to uninstall and reinstall iTunes by removing iTunes, Quicktime, and other applications on my computer. I had uninstalled iTunes and Quicktime, but when I tried to uninstall the Apple software update, I get the following error message:

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your supplier of staff or the package of support ".

How am I supposed to fix my problem with iTunes, so I can download music if I couldn't uninstall programs I need to uninstall? Can I try reinstalling iTunes at the moment? Please let me know what I can or can't do.

Specific file names are mentioned in the error messages?

Here is the standard advice for dealing with problems of installation of iTunes.  Because you are having trouble to uninstall one or more of these applications, you must use Windows Installer Cleanup mentioned below or Free Revo Uninstaller to uninstall applications difficult.

Caution: Cleanup utility Windows Uninstaller has been removed from Microsoft download servers because sometimes it seems more removed he was supposed to (I believe this was linked to Office uninstall).  You can still get Windows Installer Cleanup here--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html utility if you use it, you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  An image full disc would be safer if you have this ability.

Have you tried completely removing all software related to iTunes and files, allowing you to perform a "clean installation" of iTunes? It comes to my technique proposed, taken from the article in Support of Apple HT1926.

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
    Remove these applications:
    1 Apple Software Update
    2. Apple Mobile Device Support
    3 Hello
4 iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
    5 iTunes
    6 QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete this files (if present)
    1 iPod
    2 iTunes
    3 QuickTime

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

Download & install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301/
Launch the utility: start > programs > Windows Installer Clean Up
Select one of the applications mentioned above and click on remove

    Restart the computer
Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
