Problem Background Image

Hello
I'm using a custom theme in APEX 4.0 on Oracle 10 g. I'm trying to add a background image to a page, and I find that the theme does not appear the image correctly. I need to click on the background image view to see the actual image...

I know there is a way through css to override the existing background image/color, but today I simply didn't see / get it...

Can anyone offer a suggestion?

The background properties are applied to the body according to your stylesheet incorporated. The problem is that the body is invisible behind all this fancy theme UI widgets dan.

Various s divon the page have styles online specifying absolute positions and z-index values that display them in front of the body of the page and have the .ui-pane-layout class that specifies the gray background. Override this rule with:

.ui-layout-pane {
  background-color: transparent;
}

and the body with your background image becomes visible.

On the other hand, put the background image on the main content div can be closer to what you're trying to achieve? Replace the body selector in your existing rule by div #delta - content of the page:

div#delta-page-content {
  background-image: url(wwv_flow_file_mgr.get_file?p_security_group_id=9023722216290979&p_fname=ata_background.png) !important;
  background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
  background-attachment: fixed !important;
}

  • Problem with background Images and scrolling

    I had to face for a while to get background pictures are working properly. Here's what I do:

    VFM VerticalFieldManager = new VerticalFieldManager();

    Card of bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("MyImage.jpg");

    Background bg = BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground (map);

    vfm.setBackground (bg);

    This works, but has entrapment. First of all, he painted only as much as you have fields too much room, so I have to add empty fields just to occupy vertical space. However, on a page with something like a listField, where the height is variable, this can lead to what the background image are starting to repeat and to allow scrolling.

    What I want to do is to block all the scrolling and have the training exactly fill the screen with no scrolling or white empty places.

    I'll just on this wrong? Would really love to help...

    Hello

    Hope this will help you.

    class LoginScreen extends MainScreen {    //Manager        private VerticalFieldManager _manager;

        LoginScreen() {        //Set Background image            _manager = (VerticalFieldManager)getMainManager();            Background bg = BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground(Bitmap.getBitmapResource("back.png"));            _manager.setBackground(bg);

       }}

    Add this manageron your screen don't add any component in this handler.

    You add fields in the Manager of the other, and adds that the Manager on the screen.

    Let me know if this solves your problem or not.

    I'm having a problem using the slideshow module in LR 6.3. The slideshow contains the background image as one of the images to display. Earlier, I have created a slideshow of practice and the background image was not displayed as an image in itself. How to make it behave?

    Another approach, perhaps a little more elegant (?). Create a collection that includes images for the slideshow. Include the background image in the collection. Drag the background image in the Panel to designate. Then, remove this image from the collection and create the slide show. I just tried and it works, too.

  • Background image in IE6 display problem

    I have another problem with my CSS. It includes background images don't display correctly in IE6. My navigation bar is an unordered list, and I use a technique of image replacement to replace the text for background images that serve as buttons. The height of each button is 12 pixels, and turnover is created by shifting the pixels of the image-12 to reveal the bottom of half of the image. So far so good. The images appear in all browsers but IE6 displays more than 12 pixels of the image, revealing part of the bearing underneath.

    Here is the page in question: http://www.colbydesign.com/redesign/index.html

    Here is a page of BrowserLab of the appearance of the page in IE6: http://www.colbydesign.com/redesign/images/ie6_screenshot.jpg

    Thank you

    R Co

    I didn't have the chance to work through the problem set, but I think that the font size of your text in menu "off-screen" pushes down on the size of your ul and your li, as I see the contours 'spill over' into this div. specific

    Try those giving the #header h1 elements, specifically, set a smaller font size.

    Otherwise, try to apply a "overflow: hidden;" to the definition of hover.

  • Problem with the length of the background Image

    I created a page with a sidebar and main content where to cut a picture to try to get consistency for the bottom of each element.

    When I view in the Explorer of the Int, it can show different lengths between the two elements to let appear a blank space at the bottom of the screen. Problem does not occur in love with Safari or Firefox

    See the page here as an example http://revamp.pnnmanagement-events.co.uk/bands & duos.html

    In IE6, it also seems to put a space between the sidebar and the main content, which does not happen elsewhere.

    Any ideas on how to fix thanks.

    Why do you split the image? Can not make you a wrapper for the sidebar and the maincontent and set the background image of the packaging to your image. In this way, your image doesn't have to be cut in half...

    My first thought...

                         display: inline;          f\loat: left;          background: #FFF;

    Try declaring the background-image here as well... where it says not to mess with unless you know what you are doing.

    I'm just guessing though. If I had more time I'd look into it further but I do not.

  • The table cell background image problem-

    I'm sure it's something super simple, but I can't see what it is. I'm working in Dreamweaver CS3, but having to modify the code by hand, because the code is not validated I fight to clean up the last error on this page before applying the model it is based on the rest of my site...

    This page was based on the original model: http://jpcltdservices.com/template-page.html

    As you can see by the w3C validator, it had a number of problems with the tags for the table background image:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?URI=http%3A%2f%2Fjpcltdservices.com%2Ftemplate-page.html & cha rset = (detect + automatically) & doctype = Inline & group = 0 & verbose = 1 & st = 1 & user-agent = W3C_Validator %2F1.606

    I cleaned up by adding the table background image css to my stylesheet main and changed the code in the page for suggested type reference.

    http://jpcltdservices.com/Alternate_template_page.html

    W3C validator shows now only 1 error:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?URI=http%3A%2f%2Fjpcltdservices.com%2FAlternate_template_pag.html & charset = (detect + automatically) & doctype = Inline & group = 0 & verbose = 1 & st = 1 & = _Validator%2F1.606 W3C user agent

    The problem is, if I replace the background = "Images/CellBG1sm.jpg td' on line 34 with style ="background-image"td tag that works on line 27, the background image disappears completely from the whole table!"

    I'm sure it's something super simple, but I can't see it. I'm working in Dreamweaver CS3, but having to modify the code by hand, because the code it generates does not validate in many cases.

    You seem to be sensational. The CSS validator is another object of value
    tool: http://jigsaw.w3.org . I suspect this first error to main.css is
    the incorrect syntax used here:

    background-image: {"url... / Images/CellBG1sm.jpg";}
    ' background-repeat: repeat;
    }

    Go ahead and remove this rule completely.

    For an inline style, try this:

    But it might be better to remove all those inline styles and use your
    external main.CSS. For example, you are not currently using. MainContent,
    so maybe it's a good place:

    . MainContent {}
    do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without-serif, Tahoma;
    color: #3F3F61;
    do-size: 100%;
    background-image: URL("Images/CellBG1sm.jpg");
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 0;
    Width: 790px;
    }

    Then, in the table cell or appropriate:

  • Gradient background Image problem

    I created a gradient (a gray color that goes blank) and I use it as a background image. Everything is great, except for one page, which is very long. On this page, the gradient looks terrible b/c he jumps abruptly from white to dark gray.

    You can see what I'm talking about here: http://www.realestatepartnersadvantage.com/test/investorsearch.php
    (Choose 'National' in the drop down below and you will see how the gradient looks like once the search results are displayed.)

    How can I solve this problem? Do I have to make the gradient image as long as the length of the page? Or y at - it an easier way to handle this?

    1, your gradient is repeated. Assign the no repetition.

    2nd set the page background color for the background color of the
    gradient.

    I found the solution.

    VerticalFieldManager panel= new VerticalFieldManager(VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_WIDTH |VerticalFieldManager.USE_ALL_HEIGHT)       {         /*            protected void paint(Graphics graphics)           {             try               {                 graphics.drawBitmap(0, 0, graphics.getScreenWidth(), graphics.getScreenHeight(),                          ComunicadorCore.getGestorImagenes().getImagen("fondo.png").getBitmap(), 0, 0);                }             catch (ImagenException e)                 {                 // TODO Auto-generated catch block                    e.printStackTrace();              }             super.paint(graphics);            }         */            protected void paintBackground(Graphics graphics)             {             try               {                 graphics.drawBitmap(0, 0, graphics.getScreenWidth(), graphics.getScreenHeight(),                          ComunicadorCore.getGestorImagenes().getImagen("fondo.png").getBitmap(), 0, 0);                }             catch (ImagenException e)                 {                 // TODO Auto-generated catch block                    e.printStackTrace();              }             super.paintBackground(graphics);          }     };

  • Lines and comic forms are transparent, more background image problem!

    Hey everyone, great novice here.  I'm doing a flyer in inDesign and for the background image, I copied a picture that I converted mainly to "bluescale" in Illustrator by changing the colors.  Now when I try to draw a line or shape above, they all show transparent (see attached image), instead of being informed.  When delete or toggle the visibility of the image, all right.  How can I get the lines or solidly filled in forms?

    A line at random, I'm drawing, for example.  Does not appear in the dark.

    Also check the effects > blending mode.

  • Problem to download: background image on a collection

    Hello, we did a background image upload for a collection.

    On the page layout, we have activated the option to show too, but it is not. Is there something more we need to do?

    Make sure you use the preview application to test your content, and you click the button Preview in the portal after you apply your changes to the collection & layout.
