  The BBKey/Menu button has two functions.

  (1) to bring up a context menu of the application, you are

  (2) to bring up the Ribbon app-switcher (a list of all your applications in the course of execution so that you can change quickly from a different application...)

  The difference is how long you hold down the key. For 1, it is a support and quick release. For 2, it is down. Sometimes it gets bad, but with practice, you'll be able to get what you want most of the time (not 100% but... I always get a wrong result sometimes).

  Hey guys, I'm new here so I will try to provide everything I can. I have a Bold 9700 with ATT and the OS is v5.0.0.405. Well a couple of weeks my blackberry has started to develop an annoying problem. When in a call, most of the time (not all) he starts switching between icon of headset and normal speaker. When this happens, you can hear the phone switch between the two through the speaker, and it makes it so I can't hear someone and they don't hear me.   So, here's my problem, I had a Pearl 8130 and beat the trackball on it so it is no longer functional.  I just got my curve in the mail today, and I want to spend all my contacts from my Pearl to my curve.  Whenever I plugged my phone into my computer, I hit "backup".  So, my question is, how I make out of my Pearl?  If they are stored on my computer, which is the file in which they are stored?  I can't seem to find anything anywhere, and there is no my phone contacts in Outlook.  Is there another way to get them off my Pearl that won't require me using my trackball (he has literally disappeared).  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  Open Desktop Manager > switch Device Wizard. First plug in your old Pearl and follow the instructions you see pass all your data, contacts, etc., from one device to the other. You will have no need of the trackball works for this... just have the Pearl charged and put on the market.

  If you want to restore the previous backup, use C: > backup > restore. You may need to open the file > open and navigate to where you saved the most recent backup file (ending in *.ipd).

  I have this problem that I'm trying to work around. On my yahoo mail, I've created rules for certain categories of emails coming. These rules to move messages that meet the criteria for folders that I created.

  Now I have yahoo mail configured on my blackbery device but not to receive emails from other folders. All I get is emails that appear in my main Inbox folder.

  Through the settings on my phone and can't find an option or a setting that can help me solve this problem.

  2 your Y! mail server applies the rules
  3 your Y! mail server sends messages from the Inbox to your server of BIS

  Your device is used.  Your description of the boot sequence indicates that it is a Vodafone branded device.  This Vodafone startup screen can never be changed.  As long as the device is unlocked, you can use it on your support.

  In addition, you must have a BlackBerry data plan to your account with your wireless service provider.  It is probably what you were told the camera.

  That said, you can probably learn the operating system to v7.1 by performing a clean OS reload.  Here are some instructions:

  On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

  5 use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then go to the next step.

  Sorry to jump in. When you're connected, you have active storage media. When you make a return for the instance, this mode should be activated. If it is enabled in the first place, that the media sync will not work. Try it with power off mass storage and see if it works.
