Problem blue screen on Satellite A350D-20E with Windows 7 - PART 2

My laptop is home warranty with a new VGA card problem solving.

However, after a few weeks he started planting all over again. I guess it's a software problem.

Error message: Bluescreen

The computer begins to have graphics problems, a few points on the screen becomes black, for example around the arrow of the mouse, then blackheads extend, the computer stops and restarts automatically. It is now 2 - 3 times a day. The computer trys and looking for a solution on the microsoft Web site, but he can't find it.

A few days ago I reinstalled the drivers from the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650. Looks like there is no new version of 8.634.1.0. But still I have re-installed. The pilot was on the Toshiba site. Unfortunately, the problem was not resolved. After 2 days without problem, problems began again to present with the same frequency (and violence).

If anyone can help? There may be a newer version of ATI mobility Radeon? But on the site Web of ATI, radeon mobility provider looks like that there are no compatible version.

Someone at - it another idea?

I can provide the following information

I assume you mean this thread:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/message.jspa?MessageID=257343

The BCCode: 116 could be related to the graphics card driver.

I found this thread from another user with a similar BSOD problem:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=64934

Please check if the use of the common graphics card driver that is part of the win 7 would solve your problem.

I suspect that you need an update of the graphics driver or a new card chart or food to cope.

  • Blue screen to Satellite C660-1EL

    Hi all

I have a serious problem in my satellite C660-1EL, I bought it for two weeks, I received free back and I installed WIN 7 Ultimate.

The problem is when I put on day of win 7 using auto. Update and installing these updates the notebook suddenly stopped. When I turn it on again it gave me a blue screen with the message "{color: #ff0000} {color} irql_not_less_or_equal" during boot.

I tried more time with safe mode, but still give me a blue screen before the victory. the startup.

I tried to install the new system using the CD original WINDOWS 7, but before the installation of the files are extracted, the bluescreen reappear.

I checked the RAM, HD, CD/DVD, in another laptop and it worked fine.

Also I tried to install WIN 7 using USB flash boot and Win XP PRO on CD, but still the same blue screen appears before the configuration copy victory. files.

Please help me, this notebook is brand new.

    {color: #ff0000} Note {color}:

Firstly the Toshiba start screen disappear, but when I removed the RAM and installed again it appear and I went into the setup by pressing F2 and restore the default bios, but still problem exists.

    {color: #ff0000} Sorry for my language {color}.

    Hey,.

The problem could be related to RAM modules as Timox wrote. You can test the modules of RAM with Memtest86. Which is a freeware software to test the memory modules live. If you do a Google search, you can find it. You must create a boot disk and if you start from that you can test the modules.

In General, there should be no problem to install Windows 7 on Satellite C660. If you have problems (blue screen), it could be a malfunction of the equipment. An authorized service provider can help you to repair the computer.

  • Blue screen on Satellite Pro M70

    Hello

I had problems with my computer a bit recently, I get the blue screen of death and also when I take the power cord from the laptop then the computer shuts down.

With the blue screen I just today re-installed windows to see what is happening. Still, I get the same code to stop... we have something wrong with NTFS, and the other is the RAM apparently.

If someone has had this problem with the M70 and what precautions should I take? Or send it back to Toshiba?

    Thank you

    James!

    Hello

What graphics card is installed in the laptop you? Possibly an ATI X 600?
I read in this forum that ff the AC adapter is unplugged can lock the system and the screen goes dark. It seems to be related to a bug in the video driver.
You can try to disable the powerplay in the properties of the ATI mobility radeon x 600 and do not set the CPU at low speed in GST in fixed mode.

But this will help only with graphics ATI X 600 card specifications

However, contact with the partner service in your country is always a good idea because the guys have great experience and could provide more ordinary details as a user like you and me.

    How can I fix it

    Hello

It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: (update your video/display driver).

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your
System. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address
of the driver, description, version, product name, company that created the driver, and
    more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

To check system drivers manufacturer as replacements and camera manufacturer who are most
current. Control Panel - device - Display Adapter Manager - note the brand and
fill out the template tab of the driver for your card video - double-click - write down the
the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind
certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver
    stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd
evening with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration), and then
Site of the manufacturer of the device (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions.
(Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT
    After each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you install
actually arises. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed
(particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check is to be sure
    installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities in
Windows updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it won't install drivers
who will be generally older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver can
HIDE (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if you wish.

Have you checked if the WLan switch on the side of the laptop is on? This switch activates and deactivates the WLan led. If this is not enough, I guess that there is a hardware problem. Perhaps some loose contacts, for example.
This can be corrected with any software update, I think that the technician should take a look in the notebook and should check this

    _*@chris4o*_
First of all it s very strange that your laptop has not delivered with any Windows operating system! Each new Toshiba notebook was shipped with the Windows operating system and the image of Toshiba should be already preinstalled.
In addition, you should find the Toshiba Recovery CD in the package. This CD contains all the drivers Toshiba, tools, Windows OS and additional software!

    With regard to the pixel dead;
Usually the internal laptop display can be replaced if a large amount of dead pixels would be displayed on the screen. There is an exactly information about replacing the screen.

    Please check this:
    http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB5400ZD0002R01.htm

In any case, I recommend you really clarify this two issues from your laptop dealer! The laptop must have the OS!

  • Satellite L300 freezes with Windows Vista

I use the Satellite L300 laptop with Windows Vista.
Once the connection is freezing, so I used to do Toshiba HDD recovery and formatted and installed with its recovery tools.

Now its connect with normal mode.
The problem is that if I use multitask or open a window or whatever it is the laptop is hanging (freeze).
Again, I have to forcely, I need to start with safe mode and normal mode then again once I get the same problem.

Can someone tell me the solution?

    > The problem is that if I use multitask or open a window or whatever it is the laptop is hanging (freeze).
Maybe some of your applications cause this problem

I think you should check what software could cause what I mean it of not impossible that a 3rd party applications that runs in the background would be the cause of your troubles

Of course, it could also be related to a hardware malfunction. It looks a bit like a RAM problem, but just a personal suggestion.

  • I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L305-S5894 with Windows Vista Home Premium installed (32 bit). Unable to get a backup to a flash drive. Error: 0 x 81000029

Original title: I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L305-S5894 with Windows Vista Home Premium installed (32 bit).  Unable to get a backup to a flash drive.

After back back, very many updates of windows, my computer is full of problems and it is not representative of the restore points far enough back to correct.  I want really to save my data and programs for flash drive (s) and then go for a full recovery of the system (return to factory).  When you try to do the backup on a 4 GB USB key I get an error including 0 x 81000029.  I have seen posted answers to this.  Everything is included to aid Vista disk from the window which was not included when I bought my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

The following article should be useful. To use system recovery options, you have Vista installation disc. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) repeatedly will install on the computer Windows recovery environment. To cross check if it is installed, try the following steps.

1 start the computer and press the F8 key continuously to get advanced boot menu options.
    2. on the menu advanced startup options, check if the Startup Repair tool is in the list.
    3. If so, select it and press ENTER.
    4. If not, then you should organize a Vista installation disc.

You may receive error messages when you try to perform a backup operation on a Windows Vista-based computer

Hi I have a satellite L500D and screen appears very often blue...
    I have win7 64 bit...

    Any help?

Even if the memtest went correctly, this does not mean that bluescreen isn t related to problems of RAM.

I agree with Akuma: the NTFS.sys file is related to the HARD drive. It may be a HARD drive problem. It could also be a problem in the worst case, the motherboard or RAM.

As you can see, nobody will be able to tell what is causing this BSOD problem.
If you n t replace the unique pieces, you will not be able to find the defective part.

  • Startup problem blue screen that seems to be associated with BHDRVX64

I have a laptop model Dell Inspiron N5110 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - Bit.  I have Norton Security Suite running - seems to be normal.  When I started my pc this morning, I got the dreaded blue screen of death.  A window will appear which indicates that there is a startup problems and offers several options to correct the startup problem.  One option is to run a startup repair program.  I tried and failed, then it has proposed restoring to a previous date program.  It does not work.  He suggested then reload the Windows program by providing more options of Windows rereloading.  I'll try the drive backuo system I created when I got the new computer-, but then, for reasons unknown, my pc suddenly decided to restart all of himself and it started normally.  Happy, happy.  But then a window pops up that says my computer has a device problem that has been identified as "ROOT\LEGACY_BHDRVX64\0000" she added that "BHDRVX64" was absent, does not, or that he needed a driver. Okay now my pc works normally, but I'm afraid to turn my pc off because this problem seems to be associated with start-up. »

HELP, HELP. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you. Bobbysan 70

This program is part of the Norton Security software, so I would like to uninstall and reinstall.  For more information, see with Symantec.  Here is a link to the Google search, I did, FWIW.

When you got your system back as you, I invite you to buy an external hard drive, and a good backup 3rd party program. You can configure it to automatically do everything in time and frequency of your choice. 1 TB external hard disks around $ 70 these days and a very good FREE backup program corresponds to the Easeus todo backup free of charge that you can download from

Hmmm. It looks like a BIOS password.

However, I have no idea why this is, but as far as I know the unknown BIOS password can be reset only by a service provider authorized in your country.
