  Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand you want to print from your devices Apple to your printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625 without the printer is connected to a wireless network.

  It is possible that we can get the printer to disseminate its own network. Please note that the network will broadcast the printer will not have access to the internet.  Please follow the steps below:

  • On the front panel of the printer, please press the wireless button
  • By using the buttons on the right, highlight and select wireless settings
  • Highlight and select Restore Defaults
  • Select Yes. A message appears indicating that the default values of the network have been restored
  • Open your application settings on your Apple device, please
  • Please click on wifi and choose the network that starts with "HP-SETUP.  This should connect to your Apple device to the printer
  • Now you should be able to print using the 'Action' icon.  If there is not a print option when you press the action icon following all guidelines for Apple AirPrint

  If you go to print and your Apple device does not see the network, you will need to follow the procedure again. It should be at least 60 minutes before the HP - Setup network ceased broadcasting.

  I have a new touchsmart from HP running Windows 8. I have an old printer c6150 all in one. I downloaded and installed the latest software and drivers for 64-bit Windows 8.

  I feel, copy and fax without problems. But when I try to scan, it freezes. It starts to scan and then just stops responding. I have to use Task Manager to quit the program. I tried the scan doctor and he says that there is a driver problem and it cannot communicate with the printer.

  Help, please.

  I solved the problem. The USB cable from the printer was not quite long enough to reach the back of my all in one computer, so I bought a USB extension cable. That works fine for normal printing, but apparently only works well for scanning.

  Once I connected the printer directly to the USB port on the computer, the scan function worked normally.

  I just bought my HP ENVY 114 e all-in-one last week and I tried to connect it to my computer (Asus all-in-one Windows 7 64-bit) and while he wil connect to my wireless very well my computer (or my cell phone which is also an Asus running windows 7 64 - bits) cannot identify it.

  Using the disc doesn't help nor did try manually to add in 'Add printer' in my computer and all the interest to get this particular printer was because it was wireless. If I have to plug in a USB key then I have saved money and bought a less expensive model. All my devices are on the same network, and their firewalls is turned off so that it does not hinder the process.

  When you browse the drive Assembly he asks the IP and I get it exactly as it is on the screen printer that I even printed it out and double checked 5 times and it was exactly the same, but he keeps asking for me to be reintroduced to it since the computer cannot identify the printer.

  Any help would be great I prefer not to have to pack up this thing and take it back...

  Unfortunately, the router and the printer do not get along at this stage.  The IP address changes too often and it is possible that the router has its own firewall.  A large number of firewalls, outside the Windows Firewall, sees a lot of traffic from hpnetworkcommunicator.exe and blocks preventing the software to find the printer.

  I saw this model of router and it doesn't have a built-in firewall.  Unfortunately, I could not see their manual without you register on the site.

  It may be preferable to set a static IP address for the printer in the router's routing table.  To do this, you acceding to EWS the router.  If you don't know how to set the printer's IP address in the router, you can try to contact the vendor of the router.

  Otherwise, I would recommend checking the firewall of the router.  I saw a router cause problems with an overactive firewall in place.

  If you happen to have an extra router around, you can try to use it instead of Paul's to confirm that it is the router.

  You can try to put a static IP address on the front of the printer.  I'm personally not too successful with setting a static IP address on the front panel when the SAP does not load, but this could be one of those cases where it does not.

  First, print a Network Setup page by going to Configuration > Wireless > Network Configuration > print Network Configuration.

  Then, go to settings > network > IP settings > change to the manual.

  Once it is replaced by the manual, it should allow the IP address, default gateway and the subnet mask.  Use the subnet mask and default gateway of the print network configuration.  Use an IP address that is not in use on the network.  You can change the last number of the IP address on the print.  For example, 192.168.1.50 could be converted to 192.168.1.250.

  Setting a static IP address on the front panel does not set servers DNS which is necessary for ePrint operate on this printer.  Now that the static IP address has been set on the front panel of the printer, try to access the SAP by entering the IP address that comes to be defined in a browser address bar.  If the printer load, you should be able to set DNS servers and be ready to go from there.

  I have a problem when you install the software for my HP Deskjet F4210 all-in-One printer.

  First of all:

  • I am running Windows Vista Home Premium x 64.
  • I tried the 3 installation methods:

  (1) installation CD.
  (2) installation of downloadable x 64 Installer.

  (3) installation of downloadable x 32 Installer.

  I get the same error message (series) at each facility.

  I also tried each method of installation mode execution "Run As Administrator". Which is not exactly change the result.

  Just to try, I tried to install it on Windows XP, and it has worked very well with no error message.

  I don't know what the problem is, but I have screenshots with legends and a comment by each (to me) that explain everything.

  You use Internet Explorer version 8? If so, uninstall Internet Explorer version 8, and then try reinstalling sw of the printer driver. You can reinstall Internet Explorer version 8 after you have reinstalled successfully the sw of the printer driver.

• OFFICEJET 5610 all-in-one: PROBLEM WITH OFFICEJET 5610 all-in-one

  I used an all-in - One HP 5610 since 2008.

  A few days ago the printer stopped working and gave me "error: 0xd05d010d Reset power", the lights on the buttons 'ON', 'COPY', 'FAX', 'SCAN' and the 'QUESTION MARK' on the front panel are on.

  I tried each proposal given by other users, for example to remove cartridges, reset the printer with #3 or #6 or #9, remove usb cables and electricity... but no result.

  Finally, I am in front of a printer will not work for me, with all of the above, more continuous "beep" and removed cartridges.

  Is there other option/proposals to test?

  I just bought the above printer, but it was sold without a connection between my computer and the printer cable. However, my printer previous 2050 all-in-one who died has what appears to be a similar cable but I can not get the impression of working with her. Do I need a new connection? and why?

• Problem installing drivers, F4180 all in one

  I'm having a really hard time getting my printer to work on a new computer.  Printer previously worked well on a laptop with Windows XP Home Edition, but now I'm trying to install it on a newer desktop with Windows 7 x 64 Home Premium.  After a few failed installations I can't printer to print on computers.

  I have uninstalled/installed several times without success.  A common problem I see is during USB connect installation, Windows can't find the driver for 'Deskjet 4100 Series' in software driver installation window.  See screenshot:

  

  I tried all the toubleshooting to help install on the web site, including the uninstall/install using the Setup Wizard download and microsoft fixit downloads for printer, configure and install/uninstall.  None have been able to install properly.  The wizard has detected my printer, but the installation always fails to connect to the step on the screenshot above.

  I note also, I was able to scan documents on Windows 7 without problem, but there is no printing functionality at all.

  I tried a different (and shorter) USB cable with no luck.

  I did a Windows 7 upgrade install on my Windows 7 PC and installing the printer software has worked on the first try;  a pilot who has not been tried installed without a problem.  I guess that some windows file has been corrupted.

• HP all-in - One Photoshop C6280: Scanner tring to connect with C6280 all-in - One Photoshop crashes w/task and not complete

  I had already used my scanner and it worked very well on a wireless set up.  Now, when I went to click scan again, a little box came and said, ' establish a connection with 6200.192.168.9.2 and it just hangs it and does no connection.»  I have forcibly close Microsoft fax and scan program manager tasks.   I closed my PC printer and modem wireless disconnected and reconnected since and all lit again.  My wireless phone and seems to work very well as I can get on the internet, etc., but the attempt at analysis of a new document yeilds the same results as previously with the application tries to establish a connection and just hanging there.  I used my HP scan and print doctor and everything is fine with my legacy, with the exception of the low ink level.   My drivers are up to date analysis of my HP PC.  Help, please.  What to do next?

  To confirm that the hardware of the printer is functional, you are able to make a copy with the glass of the scanner of the printer?

• problem Windows Vista/HP All In One scanner

  I can scan a document from the HP Control Panel in word without problem. When I scan from the HP Solution Center software, the preview ended, but the document is only half there as a file.  I tried to change all sorts of settings without result.
  All good leads to put me on the right track?

  I changed a JPEG image to a TIFF, resolution of 200 to 300 image, and all of a sudden, everything is ok again. Fact no sense to me, but it works now!

• Problems with HP C4180 all-in-one

  Hi all, I'm running my AIO on family vista premium, when I go to print, he keeps trying to install the drivers

  that are already there!

  This means that I get multiple copies of my printer, when I want only one, and it's a pain removing them.

  And once both Vista and HP have reinstalled these drivers together at the same time, I then get the product regisration page.

  I have already recorded more than once, and when that happens no matter how many times I select the option to save "Don't remember"

  I always get Regisration queries!

  Any one out there who can advise me on this will make me a real happy camper! I looked for the appropriate drivers, but no joy yet and its

  driving me crazy!

  1. click on the start menu and in "Search", type "services.msc" and press the Enter key.
  2. in the Services window, locate the HP CUE Device Discovery Service and double-click it.
  3. you should see a button titled 'STOP '. Click on this button.
  4 above, you should find something that says "Startup Type" Change that on 'off '.
  5. click on the button "Apply" and close all windows.

• Problem with new Ennvoy all-in-one scanning 5530th

  I scanned just my first letter to send to someone via email.  The first two pages of the scan one very well, but the third page contains a very bold print message in the miiddle of the page and it is the only content that the scanner records on my desk.  I ran a copy of the letter and it was fine...

  HP software full functionality is not yet available for Sierra, as you mentioned the ysstem functioning is not yet.

  You can scan with the application of ICA Apple (Image Capture or sweepers & Scanners), as well as thorugh HP Easy Scan you will experience, however, some issues you described, as this behavior with the scanning of the façade, this is a known issue with the software that should be fully updated for Sierra soon, it should be available soon, assuming that during the next weeks to come...

  You can insall HP Easy Scan 1.6.1 below and check if you are able to scan from it:

  Note: If there is already a HP Easy Scan of a previous version icon in the Applications folder, remove and empty the tash first.

  Then, try to scan using HP Easy Scan and check if it works.

  If the front panel can now list your Mac, it probably, work if not to use the Scan on your Mac software for now.

• Scanning Cougar problem: HP PSC 1610 all-in-one

  I have an iMAC nine and like all the others in the forum, have tried all suggested: made to remove and readd the printer, tried to get the app store to search for updates download all new s/w (because mine is very old), etc, etc.

  I can't get any dwonload HP scanning software, but I can get the printer to perform a scan using all the different software options suggested Apple.

  However, no matter which option I use, when I scan, the preview image looks perfect, but the scanned image is still cut off and I can't find options or parameters that will get everyone to analyze.

  For example, if I scan a page 5 X 8 with images and text in PDF, the preview image is the entire page, but the scanned image is just a bunch of page, maybe 1 X 8.

  Any help would be great because I rely completely on scanning to send different business and pertsonal business documents.

  (Note: any other print and copy functions seem to work well; has not tried to download photos yet.)

  Try following the steps below, I think that should help:

  Open the application OS Scan (e.g., printing & scanning or Capture of Image)

  Click view details.

  Don't forget to set the option of automatic selection under Off.

  You can also ucheck use custom size option and select format A4 or letter...

• HP C4385 all-in-one crashes when you try to scan

  I have a HP C4385 all in one and when I attemot to scan, unit itself is all in one software, a window that says "hp scanning" appears and then the software freezes.  It does not scan, I get no error message.  I need to reboot to clear the message, but still can not sweep.

  I use Windows XP and connected to the all-in-one wireless device.  I had this problem a few months back and was able to get online HP chat people to help me, but this time I tried twice and they can help. I thnk I downloaded somethingthe last time it was fixed.  Any help would be appreciated.

  I think that there are some conflicts with the drivers.  I was able to get everything working again to completely uninstall the software and then re-install.  It cleared up any questions - until of course, something comes into conflict with her and he messes up.  But it works fine now.
