    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.

    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:

    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

  • Problem connecting WiFi in europe

Will it all be some update for European mobile phones from sony owners? Sony has designed the firmware based on the laws of the United States, which means that it does not support wifi 12,13 channels. But they are normally used in Europe if im often unable to connect. I think it's a big problem and should be solved. Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community! Since you are new, please make sure that you have checked our Forum.

You should be able to connect to a Wi - Fi using channels 12 and 13. Make sure you have a SIM card that is active in your phone while the phone can locate where you are. If you do not have any SIM card in your phone, the phone will not find any networks on Wi - Fi channels above 11.

  • Problem connecting Wifi HELP blackBerry Smartphones

I just bought my blackberry "BOLD" 2 weeks ago, I've not always been able to use my wifi. It says that I'm connected, she named my connection next to the claimant but the wifi icon remains Gray and there is no checkmark beside the Tower wifi on the thing. When I go to the borwser this message always says "unable to connect to he internet, please try again." If the problem persists contact your service provieder. One of the reasons why I bought this phone was because of the wifi and now I can't even use it. It would be great if someone could let me know how to solve the probelem

    Help, please

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I have a "BOLD" myself and WiFi may tend to be very tempremental but the best thing would be to try a hard reset on the device, but make sure that you back up all your information on the device on your computer before you do. Then go to Options > Security Options > General settings > "Button Blackberry" Menu and "wipe Handheld".

That seems to work for mine, even if it is a bit tempremental but if that doesn't fix it then I say back to the store and exchange it.

  • Problem connecting WiFi MG5420 PIXMA

The implementation of WiFi (WLAN) works well all day after it starts.   But during the night when the printer is idle it loses.  When you try to print the first thing in the morning I have to re - set up using the "Standard Installation" method is to type my password WiFi (a long and tedious process).  This machine is new (only 3 days) and maybe this problem will disappear afterwards, but it is not for the last two mornings.   Anyone have this problem?  If so, how to fix?  Thank you.

    Hi Hal2k,

Yes, unfortunately you can not attach a word document or a text file, just a picture or a video, but the 54% you get can certainly explain the problems you are having.  Ideally, you want this number is around 70 to 80 percent if she isn't better.  If possible I recommend you move the printer near hence is the router, but if this is not possible, you can try two things, we'd be to access your router settings and try to change the channel your router wireless transmits on.  If you are in an apartment complex or if you are in an area with other people who have strong enough routers wireless can overlap their your signals causing loss of signal and switching to a less crowded channel will help that.  If moving the printer or router so that they are more close to eachother is not an option, your other option would be to buy a wirelses extender that will strengthen the link between your router and the printer.

  • A problem connecting Wifi for DVG1000 on Windows 10

I deleted the network name, as it was different from my journal in the name of WiFi (charged to Manage known networks) and now... I don't have or how I get it back?

The reason why I deleted the name of WiFi was because the wireless setting name came as something different, so I had two names and thought to remove the one I don't use would not hurt... Big mistake because the only place where I see the name of wifi now is in managing known networks but not to the sign in page... No red or green light flashes on the Wifi...

Now... This is the reason for my username! Thank you for the juggling of my memory, I really couldn't understand what had happened.

    100% happy.

  • Problem connecting WiFi with Milestone

    Hello

I recently bought Milestone and Wi - Fi seems weird - it does not scan the available networks and says: "cannot start a Wi - Fi connection. Can someone help me out here?

    Thank you

Have you tried a battery pull. Battery grips seem to help in many situations. There are a lot of things and jump start again. Turn off the phone, remove the battery for at least a minute and power back on. Now test functioning. I hope this helps.

  • Problem connecting wireless with my Tecra A8

    Hello

I have problem connecting WiFi with my laptop Tecra A8. When I opened my laptop, it does not connect to the wireless network.
I tried several ways to solve this problem.
I updated for active connections, then I click on the Connect button after you select my wireless LAN, but it doesn't connect.
Or I restart my computer, but it doesn't connect.
However, it connects to the network wireless in anytime after about 15 minutes.

Also when I tried to connect to the network wireless at home, but I couldn't t connect. I removed the password for the connection. Then I connected without any problem.
I wonder that there is no problem with installation? Or my wireless card doesn't work?
    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    > Also when I tried to connect to a home wireless network, but I couldn't t connect. I removed the password for the connection. Then I connected without any problem.

According to the statement, all looks like that you try to use a password for encryption wrong!

  • Anyone having problems with WiFi connectivity after upgrade to Sierra?

I was wondering if anyone else knows issues with WiFi connectivity since the upgrade to Sierra 10.12? I have not had any problems with connectivity WiFi previously on El Capitan. Now I have regular randomly loose connectivity. My internet is cable and when it is connected I have a 100% connection. My details of iMac and I have used only 10% of my storage.

No problem with my iphone 6.

I understand that, since the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra, your Mac seems to have trouble staying connected to Wi - Fi. Fortunately the diagnosis built-in wireless can help identify the source of so much trouble.

  • Problem with WiFi connectivity

    Hello everyone.

Since yesterday my Macbook pro (mid-2012; Retina), El Capitan 10.11.6, running acted. I am able to connect to my home router when I'm on OS X. But when I switch to Windows 10 (with bootcamp) he connects to it even before I am able to connect. My IPhone and my IPad have no problem whatsoever. The problem probably occurred a week after I stopped the machine and turn it back would not see my router, but it has been resolved with a simple reboot. However, last night I came home from college and were not able to connect or see it at all. I searched the forums, tried all the stuff help wireless, did the round with the location, reset preferences and nothing has worked. When I go to University I have no problem connecting to the network out there on a BONE. I was not able to find anything else that could help me so I turn to the community to see if anyone has had similar problems and, hopefully, a solution.

    Thank you.

    Hey Kasiopeous,

If I understand correctly, the MacBook Pro does not connect to your home WiFi network. Other devices are able to connect at home, and the MacBook Pro is able to connect to other networks.  Looks like you already have a troubleshooting.
