Problem creating an animated gif using images

Hey all,.

I am trying to create a simple gif using 3 images, I followed all the tutorials and I have my menu drop down doesn't have the option for 'create a new layer for each new image '.

All the tutorials say click on the drop down once you have selected create image animation in the timeline panel, but it is simply not there on mine - see screenshot

I'm on the latest version of Photoshop on CC.

Thank you

Linda

  • What best adobe programs (draw) and (create) an animated gif or image?

    Hello

first of all thanks a lot for helping me.

I'm on the creation of a gif animated as the background, you can see in the war craft 3 Frozen Throne for a game.

I design it first with the quality so I need to know the best programs from adobe can do it, even if I need to know the easiest, so I need to know both of them the best and easiest if did not with the best I can with the simplest fact, pro and please put in mind that I need a program to design the image of nothing so I draw or design I do not know according to the program it self but I do not use it for editing or use an image already there, I need an elite pro that allow to create the image of nothing.

After that, I need to create an animated gif for gif images (not good for the high quality of the images so if you know better please say).

for example "moves his hair with the wind movements" so I need to move, I don't know how do I need a program to make it move too.

last thing at the end I need to file type is accepted in html (5) adobe like flash builder or flash pro game programs, for example, I know that flash pro can animate but not design it, thank you once again.

It will take maybe a few different apps.  The number one app is clearly you and your ability to conceptualize.  And well, it depends what kind of animation desired end product.  Graphics of the game is much different from an animated banner .gif web.  I think animate in Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.

  • Problems/help with animated GIF export

I am an experienced user of Photoshop.  I've recently upgraded to CS5 (Windows) and have sought to produce animated GIFS.

After reading some tutorials on the subject, I was able to:

    Create a PSD with some images of jpg in the form of layers;

    Move the layers in the animation window;

The cycle time and optimize the animation window. and,

The levels of peripheral dialogue Web backup to create the GIF file.

Everything seems to be normal throughout this process.  However, the exported GIF file appears as a grey frame dark when I open it in Internet Explorer, or download it on my site of images.

Does anyone else know this type of problem?

    Thank you

On 5K bytes, I'd say you're full, nothing there.

I can't help thinking that there could be problems with the settings that you selected in the dialog box peripheral & Web...  Could you capture your screen in this dialog box and show what you got there?

You see a blank image like the one you posted above in the optimized tab?

  • Anyone had problems, create a pdf file using MS Word 2016 on an operating system of Windows 10?

    Hello!

I just bought this Acrobat DC program, but it seems very flaky. It takes knowledge of the documents, but half the time it will not address the great Documents of Ms. The mine starts but then corrupts the Word document (Acrobat DC).

    Hi mike aylen,.

What is the version of the dowry of the DC Acrobat installed on your system?

Try to 'Repair installation' under the Help menu.

If the problem persists, then uninstall Acrobat using Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat cleaning - Adobe Labs tool cleaning tool and restart your system.

Then re-install it from here: Download Adobe Acrobat products. Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X and check if this solves the problem.

  • Can I create an animation and use it to a YouTube intro?

I want to do a YouTube intro to my channel, go to start of all my videos. I want to know if I can create one in Adobe animate and place it at the beginning of videos during editing, for example in Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Premiere.

Four notes to add to this that said this article...

    1. to do what you want to do with first, don't send by Adobe Media Encoder, use the MOV file that you get after making the export.

    2. the size of the stage and the video size may not be the same (although the report should be). When you export, you have an option to define how the video size will be. So, you could have an animation that is say 950 x 540, small enough to easily revise on a small monitor, and you can export only HD or even sizes of 4 K video.

    3. you can make your library assets be lossless, no reason to force them through JPEG. In addition, in the publication settings change the audio signal to be in Raw, 44.1 KHz, 16-bit stereo. Assuming you're including audio. If you do audio first start-up sequence, then the settings of FLA important step.

4 put this in a layer in frame 1 of your timeline, it will significantly improve the quality of the video:

    internship. Quality = "best";

  • Is it possible to create an animated gif with a different hotspot/link on each State?

Hello! I was unable to find the answer to my question by searching, sorry if this has been discussed already.

I'm doing a gif animated which is actually a small slideshow with a different link on each slide (or State, as are called Fireworks). But it doesn't seem to let me use a hotspot for all this, even if I insert in the layer instead of in the State. I tried to use slices instead of hot spots, and it does the same thing.

    Is this possible?

No, you can not do this. It is not a question of fireworks, just the way work GIF animation. You will need to use Flash or Flash Catalyst for this type of functionality.

  • Creating animated GIFs...

Hi - I know this isn't the right forum, but I couldn't find one for Fireworks - and it relates to the development of the web... then...

I used to Image Ready for years and he loves the simplicity of it! Creating an animated gif is a very painless process - you have a window that can easily add frames of animation, with lighting, to establish frames tween, etc..

Photoshop CS4 eliminated the associated "Image Ready" software - replacement by Fireworks...

I can't for the life of understand me how to accomplish a .gif animated in Fireworks - help areas offers a glimpse of what an animation is, but no real help (for me anyway) in terms of the process.

Can someone guide me please in a direction that will justify Adobe eliminating Image Ready for what appears to be a replacement of "much-more-complicated-than-it-needs-etre"?

If anyone has links tutorial or other technical notes that they can share, it would be greatly appreciated...

    Thank you

    Jesse

  • Disturbing image in animated GIF

When I do the animated gifs using Photoshop, he sometimes adds a white frame at the end before the loop is executed again.  Here is an example:

    https://Twitter.com/kirrwed/status/704905351829782528

Anyone know why this happens?  Is there a way to save without this problem? I use the Save for Web feature.

Finally I thought of her. If you change the pace under Document settings, sometimes, there are empty boxes left at the end. Just re - cut endpoint again to fix it.

  • Animated GIF - problem with Frame Delay

    Mac OS X 10.5.8

    PSE 6.0

I just created an animated gif by following the steps in the help of PSE.  It says that I should be able to adjust the speed at which the images turn by changing the Frame Delay measure but I am unable to change it.  In fact, I am unable to change anything in the Animation of the dialog section.

When I check the Animation, the options appear to become active (they are gray is no longer) but I can uncheck the loop option or change the Frame Delay option.  All other sections of the dialog box work fine.

Your help would be most appreciated!

    Beth

Unfortunately, it's broken in PES 6 and 8 of PSE. You can tab into the frame delay box if you start on it somewhere on this side of the screen and it appears to allow you to change the rate, but your choice does not really affect the actual rate. The only solution is to duplicate the layers image that you want to remain on the screen longer (so it will change just as fast, but not obviously).

  • Animated GIF. issues in Captivate

I tried to put an animated gif. in my introduction to Captivate.

When I import the animation using Insert > Animation it converts gif image animated in a swf file.

In the preview screen it shows my gif animated to the multiple colors blinking again and again. He does that to all animated gifs that I bring in. My fps has the value 10 in Captivate.

Are there restrictions of framework or size restrictions file that generated this error when an animated gif image. Any suggestions?

It fixed... Remember when creating an animated GIF. keep the number of images under 100 images. Whenever you go over there seems to be an error in Captivate. This a problem that needs to be fixed in Captivate. Thanks for all the help :(

  • Animated GIF > save for Web (legacy) ends too large

I created an animated GIF on a work plan which is 768 x 90, but the Dimensions of the Document indicate 1456 x 416 (a lot of the images fly in and "shrink").

When I export as a PNG or JPG image it only exports the work plan, so that it remains the size I want to (768 x 90); but when I export > save for Web (Legacy) which is the only way to create an animated GIF AFAIK, it is exported to 1456 x 416.

How can I get to the exit of the GIF animated image to the size of the artboard? Thank you.

New export > export as a workflow is not animated gifs, currently exporting. It's probably something that will be supported in the future, however.

To export a gif animated image in PS using Photoshop CC 2015, do not work plans. Please use export > save for Web (legacy) option without work plans. The backup of the Web feature levels is not support work plans and probably never will be. Instead, we will continue to improve and to the export as a workflow.

  • Animated GIF Glitch - please advise

I created the button on the right side of the web page layout and it works very well.

Yesterday, I created an animated GIF of 4 images of people in sign language.  For some reason any image 4 GIF rushes to the top of its cycle and the shiny button works very well only 1 time.  If you click on a secondary page, the button brilliant guard shines as it is supposed to.  Single back on the homepage is the brilliance brilliant button only once and that 4 images rushes through its cycle.

    All advice is appreciated.

    Thank you - Guy deaf

    Hi Michael,

Yes, it works very well in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari for me on a Mac.

One thing that I would say that; rather than use a gif animated images of the sign language, why not use a slideshow widget and jpg images?

He did the same thing and you'd not lost because of the gif format image quality.

  • Premiere Elements is usable on an animated gif file?

I plan to buy Premiere Elements, but I need to know if we can use it to add effects to an animated gif file.

For example, in Photoshop Elements, you can add some effects to a gif image, as what gives it some textures or filters.

Can we do the same sort of thing in Premiere Elements and if so it is possible to an animated gif file?

Perhaps a better way to ask this question is: can you import a gif file in Premiere Elements, and then manipulate?  Run filters, etc..

    Thanks for your help.

If you load your GIF in first 10 items, change, then share in an AVI file, you can then import the AVI file in GIF Movie Gear by Gamani, who will then create an animated GIF. I learned about this utility from a Microsoft tutorial on creating icons for Windows XP.

    http://www.gamani.com/product_icon.htm

If you use Firefox and redirected, try to use Internet Explorer instead.

After the trial period is over, it is $29 for 4 licenses .95US.

When you share an AVI file, you will want to choose the Microsoft AVI item in the list, and then click the Advanced button to open the dialog box where you should select a codec and enter the size of the image and the pace. The codec must be one who loves of GIF Movie Gear, so there may be some adequate error to get a good codec. I shared an avi after picking Xvid for the codec, including GIF Movie Gear imported.

    > This option is only there for reasons that I don't understand

We are in agreement. We even released recently.

We always recommended the workflow that Rick recommended. Here's the relevant part of the help document:

"To create an animated GIF movie, first make and export a QuickTime of After Effects sequence. Then import the QuickTime movie into Photoshop Extended and export the animation to GIF animated using Save For Web & Devices. »
