Problem displaying Japanese characters on Windows 8

Hello, I am running Windows 8 Pro x 64 edition on my laptop, everything seems very good and cool but I am facing a problem and I could not solve by myself so far so I need help from the community.

I think that this problem is not new, but I'll give you my brief details, I can't read or write ((Name)) any folder or files on my desktop or Windows Explorer, all I'm saying is coded square only, I can use the Japanese language on Internet Explorer or any other browsers Internet but all of my Japanese files , music or movies earned a spot as a name, when I change the code to my entire system it works great, but I don't want to see all of my programs coded in Japanese, I just want to be able to view each file with the correct name.

So far I couldn't do anything about it, so please help me.

Thanks in advance.

There is a way to read Japanese characters, but it is rather difficult.  Basically, I discovered that somehow the unicode for Japanese (and probably other languages) live upward because of the connection of the Microsoft Network.  When you start your computer, Windows 8, you must log the network immediately and somehow that makes this connection the characters become boxes instead of the appropriate characters.

The way around this is simple:

* Go to your settings by scrolling to the right for the internet

* Turn on the switch to "airplane Mode"; He died in your internet connection

Restarting the computer

* When you restart your computer, it will always be in Airplane Mode and not be connected to the Microsoft network.  And so when check you anything in your computer under different text, the text is actually there.  You can even re - turn your internet now and reconnect wireless and the text will be there... the problem is that, once you turn it off and then connect on the internet, the code will be to places.

Somehow, the problem seems to be related to the forced log-in internet so why you can turn on your computer and, if it is not connected to the internet, the text will be there. (I actually discovered this by accident have taken my laptop Windows 8 somewhere where I could not connect to the internet... and then when I went to play a MP3 with Japanese code, where the text was!)

  • Problem displaying Japanese characters

    Hello

    I want my application to have the large font 'Lucida'. Because I'm not sure that every platform has installed locally, I joined it.
    I created a swf with Flash CS3, as is explained in the tutorial. (To find the tutorial for "Embedding fonts from SWF files" look in Google.)
    I added ALL the characters. The result is a swf file ~ 900 KB.

    I incorporate my policy in Flex using:

    {@font-face}
    SRC:URL("font.swf");
    fontFamily: "Lucida Grande";
    }

    Sometimes I load the Japanese or Chinese text. Instead of text I see squares.

    How can I solve?

    Thanks in advance,

    Thank you. You are right. Apart from the modish you know with full unicode support other fonts?

  • How to display Chinese characters in Windows 7 Home Premium?

    I see Chinese characters very well in my browser, but all I see are boxes instead the characters for the programs on my computer (running Windows 7 Home Premium). What I want to know is this: is there a way to display Chinese computers in windows?

    Before I am flooded with a bunch of useless answers telling me to install the "language pack", I must repeat: I'm under Windows 7 HOME PREMIUM. Yes, I tried going to Microsoft Updates and download the language pack. Unfortunately, I can't see the link for me to download the language pack, since I am running Home Premium, but in operating systems, the ability to see the other languages has been included. In other words, just because I'm running updated the operating system compared to some of the older operating systems, I don't see another language, unless I pay update.
    Seriously, Microsoft? Seriously?
    Also, I have in fact look around here to try to find a solution to my problem. Unfortunately, no one ever really answered it. Because the only problem here seems to be a complete disregard of the user and the will to pull as much money on Windows users unhappy. Windows, that is why your stock is lagging. And why I must say that you are unable to many ways to Apple. But if there is a solution, please, by all means, I'm willing to change my assessment.
    Sincerely,
    A frustrated and unhappy Windows user.

    Well, the answer you don't hear or see is the only solution.

  • Why XP does not display Japanese characters after you add the language pack?

    I installed XP on a new drive after a virus killed the other installation of it.  I noticed that XP did not display the titles to my Japanese music.  I tried to install the language pack, but he's really changed anything.  They were clearly visible on my old version before it crashed. Any suggestions?

    Imran M.

    Thanks for your reply!

    I need Japanese for display on all browsers (IE 8.0) and Opera, and I need it to appear inside Windows Media Player. (version 11).

    I do not download language files.  I only installed the language pack from my drive XP (service pack 2).

    Today, however, I started my computer and some "automatic updates" waiting to be installed.  I went ahead and install.  Afterwards, I checked WMP and all my Japanese music correctly displayed in Japanese.  (I don't know why).  Then, I went to IE and jumped a couple of Japanese pages and found that they were showing the language correctly.

    Then... I don't know how to solve the problem itself, but things seem to work the way I need them for.  It is a little frustrating not knowing how the problem has been fixed, in which case it should never show himself again, but no real sense to worry about this.

    Thanks for your help!

    When the external monitor, the internal screen is not yet recognized by windows.

    When I boot in safe mode, the internal display works fine with of course limited capabilities.

    I rebooted on the support site display drivers.

    Right now my internal monitor is not recognized by windows and is dark, and I can use an external monitor.

    Can what information I provide?

    It is a pretty weird problem with contradictory observations.

    (1) screen working in Mode safe but not regular boot. (So not the hardware problem)

    (2) display on an external monitor in normal mode. (So, no drivers issue)

    Have you installed the wireless card yourself? You unplug the cable from the screen during the installation of the card?

    Could you re - open and check that all connections are good?

    The Wi - Fi card works well?

    I also recommend a complete reset of the laptop to eliminate the possibility that it is a corrupt driver. You can use the NOVO button to reset your laptop. Make sure you make a backup on an external drive for your personal files.

  • How can I get the Chinese/Japanese characters to display correctly instead of squares?

    I use Windows 7 x 64 Ultimate and I have a few songs in Chinese and Japanese.  In Windows Explorer, the characters would SOMETIMES show properly and sometimes they would be blocks.  Whenever I use iTunes, they are always in blocks and in other programs (e.g. synctoy 2.1 and google chrome). I already installed the Chinese (traditional and simplified) and Japanese language packs, but file names always appear in the blocks. Also, I rebooted several times after the installation of the language to see if that fixes things, but he didn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    End well... I stopped being lazy and found the solution by trial and error. So the trick is to change the regional settings (RPC) Chinese system and then restored the settings English (United States) system locale. I can now see Simplified Chinese characters correctly in my buddyllist as well as in securities of browser. I've attached a screenshot of the menus to get the settings system locale. Basically, go where you changed your input method and follow the screenshot below:

    Hi Don,

    Thanks for the reply.

    To resolve the problem with the preview pane, you can try these methods.

    Method 1:

    I suggest you scan the computer to verify that there is no infection by the virus, using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

    Microsoft safety scanner will help us to get rid of software viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

    The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:

    1) the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    2) if you run the virus scan of the program which is infected with the virus will be deleted. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also, if files and folders are affected by the virus, while they might even get deleted.

    Method 2:
    If the problem persists, I would say allowing you to run the auditor of file system (CFS) analyze and check if it helps.

  • Japanese characters in the left pane

    I have a project that has been translated into Japanese, and the left pane of my FlashHelp system does not make the characters correctly. The funny thing is that I got it working in another project that has been translated, which I think was built in X 5 (or maybe earlier) and has a skin that RoboHelp says should be updated when I generate the output. I don't dare change it now, and it seems to work fine.

    Unfortunately, I don't have a record of exactly how I got it to work , but I remember that it had to do with incorporation of the Japanese characters in the Flash skin files. Fonts are also declared in the .fhs file and the XML file and I don't know how they interact, but it seems that the fonts in the files Flash are more important than those in the skin file.

    In my most recent project, the toolbar buttons appear in Japanese, as do the titles of the 'conditions' and 'definitions' in the glossary and the quick index key. It's the TOC entries, glossary and terms indexed that have the problem, and they are all driven by the skin_textnode.swf file. As long that other files are worth Arial or Arial Unicode MS in Flash, they display Japanese properly, even if the Japanese is not embedded (using "anti-alias for animation"). Without Japanese incorporated in skin_textnode.fla, I get this kind of nonsense in the left pane: a ¢ a™ ae¤oec´'‹. But with integrated Japanese, I get symbols like paragraph symbols, plus-minus-or signs and daggers. I also saved the file (table of contents) .hhc and .hhk (index) in UTF-8 format using Notepad, but no change there. Unwanted characters also appear in the overlay window when you click on a word in the index, and is led by skin_index.fla. I tried fonts and characters overlay in this file. I tried to change ' do-family: Arial "in the skin at the same time file" police: "Arial Unicode MS" ' and "police:"Arial '" No difference.

    I compared files with this earlier project. As far as I can tell, I did similar things, but the unwanted characters persist in the left pane. It does not appear that there are significant differences between the old way and the new skins are executed to cause the Japanese to work in one and not the other. Any ideas that could help me make this work again? I use RoboHelp 6, Windows XP SP2, IE 6. (In theory, doing this work for the Japanese will also solve my problem for Russian.) I hope RH7 language skills to manage this better so I don't have to use these alternatives for non-Latin characters).

    I know this is a load of information, but I tried to describe the circumstances properly without writing the great American novel. I'll clarify what it takes. Thank you

    Ben

    Solved: I found once more than the table of contents, glossary and index information are extracted from files in the whxdata folder:... whtdata xml, whgdata, xml and whidata... xml, respectively, all of which are in UTF-8 format. Japanese characters need to be changed in these files, but they crushed for a generation, so that they must be stored with the correct characters in another location. Fortunately, our glossary will probably not change, but the table of contents and index will grow as the project goes forward, so this will take some babysitting.

    Leading everyone to wonder why RoboHelp generating copies of .glo, .hhc and .hhk files in the output folder when it's the XML files that are used in the place...
