Unable to download Windows Mobile Device Center
I'm not able to download windows mobile device center. I go to the page of download of wmdc then then he wants to validate me if I get redirected to the checkout page. After that she validated me, it takes me to the page of authentic microsoft software and are unable to return to the page of wmdc. If I do a new search for wmdc then he wants validate me all over again and I can't download this file. How can I put an end to this circle.
Thank you.
On the page of validation (near the bottom of it) you get an option for a Validation method 'Alternative '? If so, what happens if you go this route?
Just for information, I tried to download wmdc and crossed the link after validation and validation, I finished the download of wmdc with the option page to download.

Download Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1
I am trying to download Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 so I can sync my HTC phone to Outlook 2007 on my PC (Vista 32 bit).
When I followed the windowsmobile.com links (or any other source), it seems to only connect to the update of the WMDC driver and not the full program of WMDC. Can someone help me find the full download or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

the mobile device Center can not download!
I think that I need Windows Mobile Device Center to connect my phone to my PC to synchronize (Vista Home Prem 32 sp2).
Whenever I download, I said I need validation (do not know why, as Microsoft Update works fine) but no worries. When I click on the checkout page (there are alternative to validate means did not), I'm redirected to a generic page of windows
http://www.Microsoft.com/UK/Windows/
I searched this forum, many people seem to have the same problem and they all are sent on the same page, I'm trying, but it still does not work.
Any suggestion is welcome.
Thank youHi Bonalymac,
Have you tried to download the file in Mode safe mode with network and save it on the desktop? Start in normal mode, and then runs the installation?

Download Mobile Device Center from Microsoft home page
I have a Vista operating system on my PC. I also have a Sat Nav that accepts cards from my maps Ordnance Survey electronic based on my PC. I used to have no hassle transfer cards selected from my old PC to my Sat Nav. The former used PC operating system XP and Active Sync. Now using Vista I seem to need to download Mobile Device Center software/drivers (which seem to have replaced Active Sync) of Microsoft, but through the process of validation, I always end up on a page of Microsoft home empty and fail to progress the download of the Mobile Device Center. There is no licensing problem or whatever it is and I am at a loss on how to transfer the maps to my Nav. Sat all the suggestions out there?

Problem connecting Bluetooth with Windows Mobile Device Center
Hello
I have and HTC Snap with WM 6.1 I want to connect to my Satellite P500 running Windows 7 to be able to move the files by using Windows Mobile Device Center.
I know that this device can talk to this laptop via bluetooth, because there are some utilities bluetooth Toshiba that I can use to get a connection.
However, even if the Toshiba utility recognizes my bluetooth device, but WMDC is not. WMDC recognises my device when it is connected with a USB cable.
I don't know about the drvupdate-amd64 download which I think is necessary with WMDC but when I run what it looks like all it does is try to install a device driver for a device that is 'unknown '. I get a message at the end that driver could not be installed.
I have run out of ideas on how to get these things to work. Someone at - it a similar experience?
Could this be a problem of COM port? My Bluetooth device to 40 com affected Toshiba stack I don't see a COM 40 in the WMDC, just a port identified as "Bluetooth" settings

I upgraded my PC to Windows 7 64 bit ultimate i5 machine. I installed Windows Mobile Device Center to synchronize my PDA Axium Dell x50v running Windows Mobile 2003 second edition with Outlook 2013 that runs on the PC.
Previously, I ran Windows Xp Pro with Outlook 2007 and was able to update using ActiveSync 4.5.
Unfortunately WMDC will only allow me to synchronize favorites, and files, as the boxes to check for synchronization of Contacts, calendar, Email, tasks and Notes cannot be verified. When you try to do, I get the message, "Outlook has not been installed.
Outlook is installed and works perfectly!
Any help would be welcome.
Thank you.

Does anyone know how get REALLY WMDC to launch (actually not supposed to) - when a mobile device (MC9090) is connected to the system?
(Or maybe suggest a request for REPLACEMENT for WMDC - preferably one who "works" with a little more frequency)?
So far, I tried (many times):
- Uninstall/reinstall of Windows Mobile Device Center
- Uninstalling Windows Mobile remote adapter (when checked ENABLE ADVANCE NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY)
- Uninstall the USB Sync symbol (when ENABLE ADVANCE NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY not verified)
- Reinstalling WINDOWS 7
- Using different USB ports
- Disconnection/connection of device (MC9090)
- The device and different cradle
I'm running WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE x 64. At some point, the WMDC auto-lancé when the device has been connected - until a few days ago. Since that time - nothing!
I lost a couple of weeks on this issue, and this delayed my mobile application development!

Windows Mobile Device Center crashes because of the police
Windows Mobile Device Center on one of the computers of the user randomly started crashing any time that it is opened from the control panel. I enabled logging according to this site (http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/wmdc/debug/index.htm) and found the trace of the following error in the log file. It seems to be the accident as he tried to use a TrueType font, no. Display the user policies are all resolved by default Segoe UI 9pt. I also tried on another account on the computer with the same result. Which fonts would be Windows Mobile Device Center trying to load that causes this crash? There are a few 3rd party barcode fonts installed but they are TrueType, and I guess that Device Center would not try to load those.

Not able to install Windows mobile device Center 6.1 in the context of the system
Hi all
We are not able to install Windows Mobile device Center 6.1 in the context of the system. We have only 2 options to install any application via SCCM. (1) user, 2) system context. In the context of the user, we will not be able to install the application and system installation of context is a failure. Exe installs fine when we run as admin, but we do not have admin context option in SCCM 2012. Please confirm that we have any other new exe or we can not install in the system context.
Kind regards
Ashok

WIndows Mobile Device Center 6.1 on Satellite P100
I have Outlook 2007 with Vista on my P100-160 and need to sync with my Mio PDA. It worked well with ActivSync and XP - Pro, but now I have problems to install WMDC.
The PDA is installed and visible with the Explorer of files and Media Manager, so it's here. I downloaded the x 86 version of WMDC Installer but nothing seems to happen when I run. I can see WMDC on the Control Panel, but it only shows the communication by default user interface when I click it.
Any advice on how to install this application or this is a problem for others too?

I can't install Windows Mobile Device Center
I had a lot of trouble with my Sprint HTC Mogul synchronization with my computer which is Vista (32). Windows Mobile Device Center has been not to recognize my phone when I plugged it up (USB work). He used to work in the past, so I uninstalled WMDC and tried to reinstall it and now I have nothing. Now, I'm learning (always after I make a mistake) that WMDC is an integral part of Vista. How can I reinstall vista components? A secondary issue, I tried to install WMDC directly from the CD that came with my phone and it says I need Adobe Flash 8.0 or higher. I have Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X(which I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times). Whenever I connect my phone to the computer what he claims to have correctly installed the driver software, but when I look in programs of this isn't there!
I need to back WMDC on my computer until I can solve the problem of synchronization. Help!
