Problem for me sending emails

In the past I sometimes check incoming emails, but adding additional information before filing.

The only way I found it is possible to do is to forward the message to myself (otherwise I can't edit a received message).

Have done so for years. However, recently when I try to do it I get an undeliverable message and the error message following 5.1.3 bad recipient address syntax.

I use AVG to scan all e-mail and MS Mail.

If I disable my AVG email Scanner then I get the same message undeliverable to MS Mail

Any ideas?

Bad address syntax.

You check own email.  The syntax is like "typo", check to see that it's EXACTLY how your ISP gave you.

You cannot use the system back restore more than you have Restore Points. The only one
Another option would be to return the system to its out of the box, as it was when
you received. So, it would be better reset your e-mail settings and check with

  • 2016 Outlook for Mac, send emails more fails

    Dear Sir or Madam,

With Outlook 2016 on my Macbook Pro, I'm not able to send more than about 10 MB of attachments.  The program accepts multiple attachments of any size, but the transmission fails after trying for about 5 Min.  I get an error message (sorry, my OS is installed with the German):

"Ein auf dem Server ausgefuhrter wurde abgebrochen procedure.  Server der ist possibly hydraulic, die Serververbindung wurde abgebrochen, oder das Netzwerk ist ausgelastet. "(A process on the server has been abandoned.  The server may be overloaded, maybe the connection to the server was interrupted or the network is overloaded).

Then "Senden der nicht possible Email." (Cannot send email.)

    Then: Fehlercode:-1001.  (Error code - 1001).

I can receive emails with attachments of any size; with an old computer with Outlook, I can send attachments of any size using the same e-mail account; and the program of "Mail" Apple can send attachments of any size.

I use: Office 365 for Mac, Macbook Pro, El Capitan, Outlook 2016; e-mail account is POP3, T-Online.

Does anyone have an idea what is happening here?  Does anyone know where the Outlook preferences are stored and how to check or change?  I understand that it is possible to limit the size of the email in preferences, while the not to complain about the size, it can simply to send larger e-mails.

I am happy for any information you can give me.

  • Firefox keeps asking for password when I send emails

Firefox version 35.0. When I open Firefox and do pass on messages, no problem. When I write an e-mail and send it, Firefox asks me password. I am able to send and receive e-mail while open. If I close Firefox and open, it ask password when I send. Months ago, I changed my password to connect to Netzero.com (which made more secure). Since then, I had this annoying password request. How to satisfy the password login server for receive/send emails?

Is it asking for the password, or the web site of Firefox? The only time that
FF you will be asked a password is if you have the active master password
    in the Password Manager.

Open the Password Manager. There is a search bar on top of the
page. Enter the name of the site. Press the button view passwords.
What's the correct information? Note: maybe more then one entry there.

Left on the icon in the address bar. A display of site information window should appear. Select more information. At the top of the window, select Security. Now select passwords saved view.

  • Droid - problem sending Email - BIG PROBLEM for many!

I've been back for quite some time trying to set up my work email.   I got everything to work some time ago, except for sending, response or message transfer.  You can see my previous post on this regarding

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know that I discovered, as apparently a lot of people will not be able to send, answer or transfer e-mails using their phone.

I talked to a technician at verizon who told me that verizon used to provide SMTP servers by courtesy, but no longer do.  I was told that I had to check my email provider to get their SMTP information.  Unfortunately, my e-mail provider does NOT provide SMTP servers.  So basically the tech told me that I won't be able to send, to meet or to transfer emails through my phone.  The technology could not tell me why verizon ceased to use the SMTP servers, but read quite a long list of some popular mail providers who don't provide the SMTP servers and so anyone who tries to use these emails would have the same problem as me and not be able to send emails through their phone (tech shook off a certain big email providers that do not provide the servers SMTP. For example, according to me, that said, that Comcast has no?) -. Anyway, apparently Blackberry provides its own email service, so if you have a Blackberry it wouldn't matter.  I'm quite surprised that the Droid is a smartphone, will not be able to send different emails to a large number of e-mail providers.  So my question, why verizon would stop providing SMTP servers so for many email providers, it is the only way you would be able to send e-mail.  Shouldn't the (Motorola), or verizon Droid, do something about it?  I think it is crazy enough to not be able to use your email on a smartphone, not to mention the most recent smartphones.  They should not get the same thing that Blackberry made so that you can send emails or verizon should not provide SMTP servers so that this could happen.  Fortunately for me I love the Droid for several other reasons, and it is not an absolute necessity to be able to send my work email (although it would make things a LOT easier), but I can def. see how that annoy people and get them to get another phone that allows them to use their electronic mail.

  • I am having major problems with my emails. I can send emails OK but I can't receive them. I use Outlook Express.

I am having major problems with my emails.  I can send emails OK but I can't receive them.  I use Outlook Express.  When I first turn on outlook express, emails start coming, but then outlook express crashes.  I disable outlook express and start again. My emails are stuck in the Orange webmail box until the last email is downloaded.  This means that I sometimes get the same time to send four or five. I called technical support Orange several times, but they say it's a problem of microsoft. I use Windows XP.

original title: I can't receive emails from outlook express.

    Hi Mike,.

Make sure that you have not activated your antivirus software analysis of electronic mail.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 which is often a problem with receiving and sending a message.

Then, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and a new registry hive (where all the settings and account info is).  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If it sticks sometimes, make sure that you are not setting to check messages too often (like every 3 minutes or somesuch).  You can also try to increase the timeout for the server where this is a problem (Tools |) Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced).  See if who deals with issues "" OE gel.  If Yes, then you can use the file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

I do not know that moving to Outlook might solve the problem, because they both use the same mechanism to retrieve messages.  If you still have problems, come on and generate a log file and when OE freezes, which could give some indication of what is the underlying problem.  Make sure that you disable the log file later, because this file grows enormously and can cause problems if it becomes too large.

  • I have problems when sending emails on Outlook Express (Windows XP Home) told in the Outbox, even if they were sent. What can I do?

I have problems when sending emails on Outlook Express (Windows XP Home) told in the Outbox, even if they were sent.  What can I do?

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

I get an Error Message When you try to send emails. "some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please see the list of errors below for more details".

But it sends the message anyway... multiple copies, and she also is put in the "Outbox" in Outlook Express as if it is not sent.

To stop the email to be sent repeatedly to the recipient, I erase it from the "Outbox" but a) you don't know if they really got it) b it is embarrassing for the receiver c) is this a bug I can fix it?

    Thanks for any help.

  • System hangs for a minute when sending emails in Windows Mail.

    Original title: Windows Mail problem.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • When I try and create e-mail or reply to a message, the system hangs for a minute before moving forward
    • Error messages - if you try and press the button create again, he says not responding do not
    • Recent changes made to your computer - no recent changes
    • What you have already tried to fix the problem - nothing
Ensure that Avast is not set to analyze them.  That happens for every email or only the first message that you create?  Responses take longer?  You have a large list of contacts or a large number of fonts installed?  Both of these can slow down WinMail.

In addition, after the removal of Norton, you must set the mail settings for the account, so its best to remove the e-mail account, close and reopen WinMail, and then add it again.

    Steve

I got rid of Norton and actually put on Avast anti virus lately. As I said when I hit Create Mail I get a message saying "windows mail does not" and then after about 45 seconds it comes up and I can send emails. I used this Windows Mail utility (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) to compact and repair the database and it has not changed much.

"You can not configure Windows Mail to use an e-mail account on the Web (HTTP) on a computer that is running Windows Vista"

Windows Mail supports more HTTP servers that are used by Hotmail and other e-mail providers such as AOL mail, Google mail, Yahoo! mail Web.

Read the info on the link above to Microsoft re HTTP and Hotmail.

Here is the workaround from MS:

Use Windows Live Mail instead of Windows Mail

Windows Live Mail is an e-mail program that you install on your computer. Windows Live Mail stores messages on your computer. This means that you can access, read, and compose e-mail messages even if you are not connected to the Internet.

Windows Live Mail works with popular Web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail, AOL mail, Google mail, and Yahoo! mail. Windows Live Mail is designed to configure automatically many popular e-mail services.

To install Windows Live Mail, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address.
