• Error 46 on the installation, after having tried everything

  I was recently informed that CC requires an update. Whenever I tried it the installer came back saying error 46 that a file or folder cannot be found (see previous issues for other users). I tried the installation with web browsers turned off and finally uninstalled, I tried with the firewall disabled. Reluctantly, because apps were working independently of Office CC, I uninstalled all applications and the CC in order to maintain updates and CC on re - install the feature. I ran CC Cleaner. I have disabled firewall, I uninstalled the browsers again.

  I still get error 46.

  It is purely a matter of CC, as applications worked perfectly fine before the installation, and, unfortunately, after recommendations from the forum, I am now without products that I pay my subscription for.

  Does anyone have an idea what needs to be done, before you reinstall Windows 10?

  Everything worked fine until last week.

  Assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated, especially Adobe itself.

  Unfortunately, this has not helped solve the problem. None of the described errors related to error 46.

  I've done everything now, including uninstalling Windows updates and uninstall all Adobe products and remove the left on files and folders, even after running CC clean power off of security and software. Nothing has released the installer from error 46. I now reset Windows 10, which allowed the installation of CC and am currently reinstalling other software that has been lost in the process.

  Needless to say, I'm not quite happy!

  I have a netbook with a partition that has win7 starter installed.  I unfortunately poorly installed windows 7 Professional and now have nothing available which was originally on the computer.  Everything was wiped clean including my ability to use / access my wireless, ethernet controller, pci, etc..  I tried repeatedly to recover the partition back to factory settings, but it won't give me the option to select the partition.  I guess that's because they are all two Windows 7.  Can you help me get it back to windows 7 edition starter of the partition so I can restore all the factory settings and programs.  I haven't lost any information or files that I loaded win7professtional as soon as I turned it on.  I have restore points, images, etc.

  When I installed Win 7 Professional, not old Info windows.old file but I don't know how to access that is.

  The Windows.old folder has two objectives:
  (1) can be used to uninstall Windows 7 and return your PC to the previous version of Windows.
  (2) contains a backup of all your files of data, documents, photos, Etc. from the previous version of Windows.

  If you don't need either of these two options can delete the Windows.old folder. In your case if you can access the "recovery Partition" to restore the windows and then back the Windows.old folder before you begin.

  Note: Option to change Windows Explorer to see the Windows.old folder:
  Click on start and enter in the box "Search": "hidden" (without the quotes)
  Click on the "Show the hidden files and folders" option at the top of the list.
  In the "Folder Options" window
  Click the 'view' if it is not already selected.
  In the list "Advanced settings" locate "hidden files and folders".
  Now click 'show files and folders '.
  Then, disable the following:
  "Hide empty drives in the computer folder.
  "Hide the extensions of the file types that you want to know."
  "Hide protected operating system files"

  Click on the "Apply" button and the OK"" button.

  • Please check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
  • Disable the firewall on your machine.

  I really appreciate your response, however, I was able to solve it with the system restore and reinstallation of several windows updates.

  It turned out that a third-party software was the culprit.  Once I made this discovery, I reinstalled the software uninstalled, and carried out the system restore and updates.

• Problems on iPad after updating iOS 10, departure lack & no ID of TOUCH!

  I use and iPad 2 and just put Air updated to iOS 10 a few moments ago. Two problems:

  (1) when I start my iPad, the screen displays the logo of apple for a good 3-4 minutes, then it goes to lock the screen massive lag!

  (2) my iPad does not recognize touch ID! I get an error indicating that Touch ID is not available on the iPad.

  On all the sleep button has slowed too since the update and the device shows a lot of lag. I have problems with the application of music on my iPhone after as the updat as it does not work.

  It's quite frustrating and if anyone can help me on my multiple problems that had to be great.
