Problem importing users in ACS 5.0.0.21

Hello.  We will have some difficulties to install import users via csv import in our new CAs 5.0.0.21.

I downloaded the template for the page "Import" and wrote a script that populated the .csv with all the necessary data, but it seems to fail every time on the membership group.

At first I thought it was because the groups were not in the system already so I added manually each group.  I retried the import, and it does not always work with the message:

2010-08-12 05:56:47: a Record number: 1, the internal user : import failed
2010-08-12 05:56:47: : referenced object not found
IdentityGroup:.

This is repeated for all users and changes of name of group based on the group, that we need to add.

From what I see, there is extra line breaks or extra characters no matter where in the csv file then I don't understand what could possibly be the cause of import fails.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Thank you!

You must have the full path of the identity groups. Since she is hierarchical it includes all names

parents separated by nodes: For example, if you created "Test Group" under "all groups".

string to import a file then appears in the form:

Dave, TRUE, FALSE, 1234, all groups: Group Test

  • Unity 4.0 (5) in the parent domain, cannot import users in child domains

The unit is company.com as exchangeserver1 (partner server). The users are in company.com and state.company.com (child domain). I used the most recent Permissions Wizard and it completes successfully.

I can only import users of company.com. Also, during the permissions wizard I can see all the exchange servers and the mailstores, but if I started as a UnityDirSvc and put in place the directory access tool and choose the mailstores test tab, I don't see any of them.

UnityInstall is Exchange, UnityDirSvc Exchange View only administrator. Still, permissions Assistant ends without any problems, the unit actually begins, and unit accounts are in a protected so OU no chance for GP to be applied.

    Completely at a loss.

Another note. Tool of the said Directory account is not set to inherit permissions from its parent, however the Security tab for users IS check inherit permissions. Very strange.

    TIA,

    Andy

Do you see not only any error message in the case where newspapers? Turn on AvSaDbConn (10-15), traces of AvDSAd and AvDsGlobalCatalog. Open Saweb and try to import. Collect newspapers AvCsMgr, AvDSAd and AvDsGlobalCatalog, and publish them.

Have you tried the import with the bulk import tool?

You can check the security settings of the user in ADUC to make sure that the account UnityDirSvc inherited the rights to the user?

  • Impossible to authenticate the user to ACS 5.1 with LDAP as identity outdoor store

Hi, I have a server and Open-LDAP running ACS on my corporate network.
Now, I'll set up a new linksys WAP - 54G and select WPA2-Enterprise with ACS as radius server.
the first thing first, I created new internal user to ACS and trying to join the network wireless from my computer. I did it...

then I move on an external entity (LDAP server). I set up the sequence of configuration and the LDAP identity, also select the access service.  but when I tried to authenticate from my computer, an error has occurred. I received:
the following error 22056 object was not found in the store identities applicable (s)

Ask me ' bout this thing, I implemented a cisco router 1841 to become customer of AAA. and surprise... it works!
Yes, there is problems to authenticate to the windows of ACS (pointing to LDAP) platform?
    any suggestion?
    Thank you

    Hello

Looks like you haven't mschap authentication is enabled on the ldap server. You can use eap - gtc instead, but need you:

1 enable eap - gtc under protocols allowed on your ACS access policy

    2. install an eap - gtc "supplicant" on the windows box - if you have a wireless network card intel, the intel proset client supports eap - gtc

This could mean a fair bit of work according to the number/type of wireless clients you have - could be useful on the LDAP mschap authentication activation.

  • Problem with user accounts

I'll put up three new Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop for three employees and have problems with user accounts in XP Pro. When I go into the initial Setup, I enter the name of the employee, and it is configured as a user account. When I start the laptop, she prays for before administrator password XP will start. Start XP, I am not able to change to a different user account, when I select Logoff on the start menu, I have one is not given an option to switch users. When I go to user accounts in Control Panel, I see the user account that was created, I can change the name & photo, but I can't delete it. I can create a new account with a different name, but she plays the same thing. The administrator remains visible - it is supposed to be hidden if there is another account. It's like XP does not see other user accounts. I am at a loss to know what to do. These are new machines and all three act in the same way.

    Help please!

I think I solved my problem - on the user accounts page there is a link "change the way user accounts log on or off. When I clicked on it I got a message saying settings could not be changed due to a layout in offline mode. When I changed this setting, I was able to select the types of user switching, and my other user accounts became available.

  • Is there a way to remove users from ACS 3.2 of bulk

I have ACS making pass-through authentication to an external database, and we have recently changed our naming convention user name + initial of the first initial + last name.

Is it possible to remove users that ACS has created dynamically, other than a? CSUtil.exe can be used to accomplish this task, or is there another command line procedure?

I don't want to remove ALL the users in the database, there are only a few that I want to stay, but not too much that I object to re-create if necessary.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would like to export all users to a text file. Then isolate users, for example in excel, which must be removed, after that the text file that will run only with names that should be deleted.

of course back up everything first.

    net stop csauth

    CSUtil.exe u

    Cook the users.txt file

  • Import bulk of ACS - SE of AAA Clients

Hi all, I know that there is a feature of AAA Client import bulk in ACS, using a csv and csutil.exe. Is there a way to do this in an ACS Solution engine? Some tell me that there is a way to do it via FTP, is it? Thanks in advance, Michael

Not as far as I know, but rather than define each AAA clientindividually why not set them in groups using wildcards in IP addresses, for example; 192.168.10 *.

  • How to import users to ACS5.1 with the md5 password?

    Hi all

Is it possible to import users to ACS5.1 with the password in MD5 using the import model or manually?
I looked through the userguide and netpro community, but without success.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Alexander,.

5.1 of the CSA, there is no such option.

The CSV file to import users contains a password column that must come in the form of a plain text string:

    Hey there,

I ve you have an urgent problem, import of illustrator in flash files.

Curved lines are moved with the corners in Flash!

Take a look at the picture below:

smooth outlines left side - not straight lines just right with corners Béziers

When I import directly from I to AE I ve got no problem at all.

    Could you please help?

Cool! Good news. I was able to reproduce it and immediately knew why you experience this problem when it imported into Flash. The original image (which is optimal btw) is pretty small scale. So I have it furred about 3 x in the file, saved and then imported into Flash again. The lines look much much better. Flash is not only to make the curves as well when they are really small.

  • Problem importing sequences in AE CS5.5

I'm having problems importanting "avi" video of my Vado HD in AE CS5.5 - playback of videos very well in Windows Media Player, but when they are imported into After Effects the clip is grey and only the audio track is available. I do not understand the problem because the codec must be installed for the Media Player read the files and I checked this by loading the film into GSpot with this result: Codec H264. The name of H.264/MPEG-4 AVC. Installed. Really hope someone can help me with this.

I think you might be out of luck on this one... It is flavor H.264 hardware acceleration, intel, that AE has obviously never been decoded. I checked on CS3. There might be some active DLL, you can install intel themselves who can solve the problem, but I could not find in the shortness of the time. So that leaves a lot of external conversion as your only option. After passing through one of the tools, I mentioned it opens fine in AE...

  • Problem importing files Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail in Windows 7__

My new computer has Windows 7 and, of course, Windows Live Mail.  My old computer has Windows XP and Outlook Express.  I copied my file OE that contains all my USB key *.dbx files.  On the file menu of WLM, I then selected "Import Messages" and then indicated the location of my OE files on the USB key.  When I clicked to import the files, a small window with a green status bar that showed all the imported files.  I then clicked on "Finish."  My problem is even if the import seems to be successful I don't think the imported files or folders in Live Mail.  I tried twice with the same results.  Did I miss a step?  My just OE files seem to have not gotten in my Windows Live Mail program.

Look in the imported folders under storage folders. If you do not see the storage files, in the Menu bar: view | Page layout | The folders pane. Check: View the storage folders.

Missing Menu bar? Click the menu button to the left of the help button and activate the menu bar.

If still no joy, copy the database messages OE of the USB on the desktop and try to import from there.

Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

    For messages:

Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    Location of OE message store:

In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

    For addresses:

Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

Open the Contacts list in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

For WLMail 2011: Switch to the contacts window (click on the book icon to the address at the foot of the folders pane, or press Ctrl-3). Click on the import button, select address book (wab) Windows and point on where it was saved.

Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

    For the account settings:
