Problem in installing drivers Sound and Bluetooth in a Satellite A100-712

Hello everyone

I have formatted the hard drive of my laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-712, downloaded the sound and drivers BT of this amazing site.

But there is still a problem.
In Device Manager, there are yellow signs with the realtek drivers and bt. I don't know what to do?

Please, you can list the steps for a correct installation for these drivers?
BCZ I'm crazy... :(
Thank you

Hello

First question: why you n t use the Toshiba Recovery CD?
This CD contains all the drivers, tools and utilities, and you do not have to install any drivers separately

Secondly: The Toshiba driver page, you should find the installation instructions document
Just follow the order of installation mentioned in the txt file and everything should work!

PS: Don't forget to use the right drivers. I think that the A100-712 is outside the PSAA9E series

  • Strange problem with card sound and speakers on my Satellite A100

    Hi all

I bought a Platinum ION (which converts documents in digital format) and oddly I can't find their tech support site (but this is another story, I guess).

I connected it via USB on my laptop A100...

Vista installed some drivers and now my speakers do not work - (peripheral output Audio n is installed - says VISTA).

I tried a VISTA system restore (which failed) and a (just as ineffective) BIOS update. Now I think I want to re - install regardless of its card driver has the A100. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

It's really weird that a USB turntable brings speakers do not want to work more. I suggest you to visit the Web to Realtek site (since your audiochipset is a realtek HD) and reinstall the drivers.

Just go to the main site and download drivers, hope it helps: www.realtek.com

Welcome and I would appreciate if you give some information about your situation.

  • Bluetooth not working not not after reinstalling Win XP - Satellite A100-712

    Hello

I have a problem with my Satellite A100-712. He took BT BT worked perfectly before reinstalling windows. I reinstalled windows using the original Toshiba Recovery CD. After you have reinstalled, BT is no longer working. Monitor of BT icon does not appear. When I swicht BT on (Fn + F8 or "manual switch on the lid of the laptop) it starts installing bluetooth. But the installation progress bar stops at some point and that's all. I tried waiting etc, but nothing helped.
You can only cancel the instalation.

I tried several versions of BT software, but even with the original - provided on the recovery CD, it doesn't. I am attaching the screenshot. As far as I know, the problem is quite common, but I have found no satisfactory solution...

I hope you can help me with this!

    p. s.

the screenshot says: installation of the BT device. Please wait...

    Hello

You are right. The A100-712 supports Bluetooth without a doubt.
Then you should be able to install the BT stack correctly.

As mentioned; BT can be activated properly using FN + F8 and installation starts as well, but he does not terminate
Hmm I'm not quite sure what could cause this but maybe his problem of m system software.
I think it is to recover the laptop once more
Activate BT, then check if the progress bar would begin and could complete the installation.

  • Satellite A100 - 712 (PSAA9E) - No. TPM or TPM has problem

    Hi all!

Once again, the same problem with the update of the BIOS...

    Quotting there
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/message.jspa?MessageID=121750#121750

"I decided to update the BIOS on my Toshiba laptop Satellite A100 - 712 PSAA9E to the latest version available (6.00).

The installation is completed normally (went through all the steps, wrote to all 21 blocks) without any error, but after the reboot, I noticed that it is now displayed at the Toshiba logo screen.

The blue progress bar moves twice but got caught then about 1/3 of the way through.
To see how bad the damage was, I Press esc at the beginning of the POST and saw that it gives me the right Version of the BIOS (6.00).

He also told me that "no TPM or TPM has problem" and "2039 M RAM Passed system."
It then displays the message "Press to enter SETUP" (which makes the message disappears, but otherwise doesn't do anything.

If I press F2 during the Toshiba logo screen, it replaces the bottom with "Please wait" message and nothing happens"

Sollution "go to ASP" in the footsteps of sollution.

Is there someone who can explain how to use the crisis to Phoenix (PCD) disk?
I did floppy of PCD, replaced BIOS. WPH with my version of BIOS.

After pressing WIN + F and on floppy power begins to work and beeps is my note. After 1 minute - all freez... Same thing with bios.bak - old version of my BIOS made after the beginning of Winphlash.exe...

    Wayting for the answer!

    Hello

I posted this already in another view about a similar BIOS problem.

To me, it seems that something was wrong during the process of updating the BIOS, and if you're lucky, the flashing of the ROM BIOS might help you.

As far as I know that you would need a BIOS version of special rescue and the drive to reflash the module ROM that you do not and therefore, you will need to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.

This isn't a real solution that you expect, but it s an advice how to get a solution
This is why I would recommend contacting the ASP in your country for the control of the laptop

    Good luck buddy

    Hello Geoff

Thanks for this useful article, but I don't know what you mean with:
Canada ONLY with the support of xp for this computer's AMERICA. *

How to understand America? Do you mean WE, in North America or South America?
I checked US Toshiba support page and Satellite A100-1201E is not listed there. It is without doubt no portable US model.
So please be so kind and post it where we can find the Toshiba WXP drivers for this model of laptop.

    Hello Raja

Your ad is quite confusing, and it is not possible to offer a reasonable solution.
The fact is that this recovery image contains all the necessary drivers for all hardware components of your notebook. Because of this I do not understand what exactly happens after the first start.

So, if something like this happens, I can imagine some external devices are connected.
Do you use a recovery media for the first time? Have you noticed similar problems in the past?
Have you bought this laptop like new or used one?

Sorry for all these questions, but, as I wrote previously, the whole story is a bit confusing.

    Hello:

According to the list of parts for your laptop, it has an Atheros wireless with bluetooth card or a wireless card broadcom Bluetooth, so those who are the only two drivers without wireless/bluetooth, you should try.

It would be better if you knew exactly which Wireless adapter you have, so there is no worry about the bad driver causing the problems.

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=A9L96PA

HP wireless assistant software is not compatible with your model.

Your model uses the latest Connection Manager HP software that does the same thing, as does the HPWA software on notebooks.

This package provides the connection manager HP for the notebook models and operating systems.

  • Problems with installing drivers

I have the Bluetake BT007EX bluetooth usb adapter. Pilots who placed on CD is "Toshiba Blutake Stack. I try to upgrade to a newer version in http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/directlink.php?snr=2 version 4.00.36. After the message "Insert the Bluetooth device and click OK" nothing happenes and I wait 10 minutes...
Device Instance Id VID_0A12 & PID001 and I can not find in the folder with the new drivers inf file containing this Instance ID of device.
    Help me please.

Usually, if you have no product problem with Toshiba, you check the support page because they have enough experience with own products. In any case, install the USB first and if you are sure that the device is listed in Device Manager and State indicates that this unit can be used, install the BT stack. My friends has produced similar Belkin and it configured on Satellite M40 on this path.

Have you activated the BT device before installing?

  • Problems after installing drivers.

For a long time, I had a same problem installing drivers.  I finally got out it was because I have my program files all together for my E drive (my C drive is a smaller SSD).  I made the necessary changes to my system to allow the drivers to be installed on the C drive.  After installation I copied the entire tree on my E drive and changed my system to install on E.

Since that every time I try to print I am told that the printer is offline.  I can't open the scanner either.  Windows find the printer successfully, and I'm able to do things like check my ink level.  I can not print correctly on other computers on my network so I know the printer is fine.

The printer in question is a Photosmart HP 6510, computers are all windows 7 and connections are all wireless.

I am sure that the problem is the way I have all my files on my E drive program and not my C drive at 90%.  The ideal solution would be for the HP Installer to assume not only that I want things on C, but I don't see that changing at any time soon.  Anyone with advice on how it works?

    Hello JPadilla,

I set up a laboratory and recreated the error code that you receive when you try to change the drive in which the software is installed to. I'm able to successfully download, extract and install the HP software on my E: drive by following the steps below:

    1. Please make sure that there is no HP printing software installed on your C: drive, even if it's just the basic print drivers go ahead and remove them.

    2. clear your temp folder on the C: drive: click on your Start Menu in the search box type %temp% and delete the files.

    3. Please make sure you back up your registry before proceeding to #4.

    4. has created a folder on your D: drive and name it 'Test'.

    5. click on your Start Menu and search for "regedit", once you are in the follow-up record this way:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > current Version

    6. now that you are in the registry, I need you to right click on the following files and select Edit and change your:

    ProgramFilesDir to D:\Test

    ProgramFilesDir (x 86) to D:Test (x 86)

    ProgramFilesPath to Test %

    ProgramW6432Dir to D:\Test

    7. now, we can go ahead and download the drivers and full software features. Once you have clicked on the download, select Save as using the drop-down arrow and select computer and select your E: drive, click Open, and then save. Once downloaded go ahead and select RUN.

You should now be able to install on your E: drive, as stated previously I managed to clear the error and changing the drive in which the software was the installation by following the directions above.

Please keep me updated and I would like to know if it is a resolution that is successful for you or if you need more help, I'd be happy to help you.

    Thank you very much

  • No Audio output device is installed, no sound in Device Mangager Toshiba Satellite Vista

I have the dreaded red X on the Volume control, "no Audio output device is installed", no. Sound Devices in device Mangager / Toshiba Satellite L355D-S7901 running Vista-32. FixIt seem to fixit, or find.

The solutions that I have seen and tried on the Web just walk me through the first steps of the three solution and then drop out of cyberspace. I heard sound on this machine before, briefly, and then she returned to the non-cooperative State. I saw a few techno-jibberish once on the drivers are properly installed, to ensure that they are saved and enter into the registry and remove, from repair, screw up as much as you can before throwing the PC to the wall because you don't know what they speak and are to afraid to taste the risky proceedures, restore cannot help , or something.

What happened, what is the solution of 4th or 5th person has told and Toshiba wants hundreds of dollars to diagnose, and then just says that the computer must be replaced if they are too lazy or too ignorant to investigate and solve problems or reveal the real solutions. Reinstall the correct drivers does not work, there is no folder Sound and the game in Device Manager controller. I'm tenatious.

I also have a USB Port that Windows doesn't recognize after him malfuncitoned, why? FixIt can't find it, can't fixit. I suspect someone stuck the wrong connector on the USB port and fried something - can't rip out and replace it? I came back home, limited, vision limited, duration of limited attention, limited by the reckless lack of "Technicians" to help. I guess you are supposed to be able to pay and pay and pay for computer assistance, or die with your computer.

I just want this computer works correctly, as long as it costs, so I can go on the problem in my life.

    Torchured!

    Hello

Did you download the drivers directly from Toshiba for your model particulare?

Here is a link to that.

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp

And there are the Toshiba Forums you can ask

    http://forums.Toshiba.com/

Or you can backup your data and reinstall the operating system

You don't say if you have a Vista DVD that accompanies it.

Otherwise, you have a recovery Partition to reinstall Vista from

"How restore your laptop Toshiba to its state of charge software factory using system recovery"

    https://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/bulletinDetail.jsp?soID=2737864&PF=true

If reinstallation does not she, you have a hardware problem with the audio device, which we cannot help you.

"stuck the wrong connector on the USB port and fried something - can't I just rip it out and replace it?

No, you can't rip out and replace

    See you soon.

  • Need help to install the driver Intel Lan on a Satellite A100-011

I bought Toshiba Satellite A100-011 with Windows Vista laptop. Now, I went down the operating system to Windows XP. The problem is how to install the Intel Lan driver. I would really appreciate any help, because there is no .exe file and I have no idea what to do with these files.

    Hey Buddy,

the files that are in the zip file are really drivers, but you must install them manually which means you have to go into the Device Manager, look for the LAN device which should probably have an exclamation point and then right-click on it. After clicking on a wizard should appear which brings us to you trough the installation process. When the wizard application for pilots (if not found already automatically), and then point to the folder where the driver files.

Then, everything should be good. :)
