Problem in Satellite A100-529 SM Bus

Hello

I have a problem with a question mark that appears next to the SM Bus in Control Panel and I can't get rid of it. What more, I discovered that because of this problem I can not connect my mobile phone (Nokia) via a USB cable (mouse works well, however).

Now, I tried to find some kind of chipset drivers on the download of Toshiba Europe site, but there simply isn't everything! Most importantly - there is no such group (am I missed something?). I tried to update the driver through Windows Update - of course, it will not bugde.

Could someone give me advice in this regard? I am a total loss, and I need my phone quite urgent.

It is really strange that you have these problems with laptop almost newer and newer. What did you do with him? As far as I know that the unit is pre-installed with recovery image and after the first start-up, the hardware configuration is perfect.

    As Alex has already written fair use facilities for the installation of the OS recovery disk and I think everything should be OK.

    I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with regard to the fixing of my computer!

    I have supply problems with my Satellite A100 laptop that I bought in europe 2 years ago. When the battery is run-down completely the computer will not run / start at all when it is plugged into the wall. It shows a light indicating that the battery is in charge even the domain controller in the light does not appear. The laptop must load for at least 1-2 hours before I can activate it. Push the power button to the computer also turn on / off the light sometimes. I can't use the computer at all until the same fully charged battery if light shows it is plugged into the wall. The outlet is fine.

    I also have other issues. First of all the computer not as to the rename files - often said that they are used, but they are not.     I put t know what sound chip you have, but have you checked the sound settings in the sound card software?
