• Cannot install Microsoft SilverLight in the Windows XP computer.

  (a) you can try to remove the previous version of Microsoft SilverLight from Add / Remove programs by following this link.

  Hello, I'm having problems install the version of Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student trial.  I had a few problems with the initial installation 2 times and finally understood why (firewall, duh!).  In any case, I have 3 registration keys, I tried to get a 3rd, it gave me an error while it was almost finished to install, telling me he had a problem with the key, as I entered. I have already run the utility to remove all traces of installs. Should I go to the 'My account' and try redownloading and one of them (previous attempts with the trial keys) and if so, only one, first one or the more recent? • Problem installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2005

  I am trying to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x 64) and the installation fails with an error that reads:

  Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly ' Microsoft. VC80. ATL, type = "win32", version = "8.0.50727.762", publicKeyToken = "1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b".processorArchitecture = "amd64" If you please refer to help and Support for more information.

  I have not tried to reinstall all other versions of the redistributable packages (2008 and 2010, the x 64 and x 86 versions of each), because I don't want to have to face the same error when I try to reinstall to see if I can reproduce the error. How to install?

  Edit: I also get this error when I try to install SP1 for Microsoft Flight simulator X, because installation requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 to work.

  Well, it turns out that my computer was apparently missing in some updates, notably those concerning the .net Framework package. Install said updates seems to have solved the problem.

• Problem installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express

  Recently I had difficulties installing programs. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. Today, I tried to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express with disappointing results.

  I went through the installation, and it says that the program has been installed successfully. However, I could not locate the program to open it. I ran a search that returned no results. The start menu did not light up like it normally does when there are new programs. I looked in the start menu > all programs and there was a folder titled "Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express. The folder was empty.
  I went into C > Program Files (x 86) and I saw different folders containing additional files for the program. I finally found what I believed to be the program itself, "VCExpress." I double clicked and the start screen for the program came, followed by an error message indicating "folder data Application for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express could not be created." I tried to run as an administrator, and the error message says "the application cannot start."
  If I try to re - install, it says that it is already installed. I uninstalled via Control Panel > uninstall program and re-installed several times with the same results. I had similar problems with other programs, and they all seem to be Microsoft programs.
  EDIT: The problem seems to have something to do with my AppData folder. When I go to C > users he's not here, but if I try to create a folder with that name, it says there is already a folder with that name.

  Microsoft and Digital Media Edition works only with the below mentioned platform:

  Windows NT / 98 / 2000 / Me / XP / 95, Mac, Linux, Unix

  Windows Dancer was essentially a part of Microsoft more! Digital Media Edition, which has now been abandoned because a lot of these things is now included in Windows Vista.
