  I installed the demo of LabVIEW 2009 and DSC 2009 versions. I created a new project and then right click on my computer to create a new server I/o. I expect to see at least some types of servers available, but the list is empty. During the installation of DSC 2009, I have all the possible modules chosen so that couldn't be the problem. Anyone know what is happening? Thanks in advance.

  The assessment of the ASN does not have hardware access through servers of e/s, so it is normal that there is nothing in the e/s server list!

  I transferred to another PC development project. When I opened it, some of my shared network variables (NSV) have been marked with errors of functionality: "Initial value: not allowed or can not be changed outside of LabVIEW.". I found out it's because I didn't install the DSC Module on the newer machine. removal of the function 'initial value' made the error message disappear.

  I didn't know that the initial value function was part of the DSC Module. If I use it in a project, means that my client needs to buy a DSC run-time license? (I don't use another function DSC)

  In my project, the NSV in question was hosted on a target of cRIO, yet my prototype (which had an initial value enabled) was happily running without problems. This contradicts the above documentation that says «you must host variables shared on Windows» Should it?

  Hi, I have a Delta PLC with an AD converter module. I use the four analog channels and in one of them, I have a thermocouple which displays temperature data on a microprocessor thermocouple meter. However, I want to display the data in Labview. The controller communicates with labview through the DSC Module of labview with success, but I am not able to read the data. Looking forward to your help.

  Found the solution. addressing to the modbus master was different for this model of plc, so I looked up the address for delta plc Modbus and the analog read list has been a success on labview.

  I want to install my labview, LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module but the one I downloaded from the home page is DSC2013, and it can only be installed on Labview 2013. Unfortunately, my labview is 2011SP1. So I did not install it.

  Guys do you know where I can download the previous version of the add-on of DSC instead of DSC2013?

  In order to download an older version of software you must subscribe to a Service Standard program of NOR (http://www.ni.com/services/software_benefits.htm).

  Then log on ni.com, go here: http://www.ni.com/downloads/products/ and select "Labview toolkits.

  Filter the list for DSC and the version you need.

  Hi people,

  I'm a student has initiated a project of simualte a network of gas using DSC module. I generated a VI after a lot of puzzle and shoot, hair that contains several local variables. I just found out that they do not work on the network. I am also very pushed for time. Is there a quick fix to do this, in order to save the integrity of the VI? I have included a copy of the VI.

  I had problems for the last two months trying to install the update to windows KB2556532. I have Windows Vista 32 bit.

  Another approach, perhaps a little more elegant (?). Create a collection that includes images for the slideshow. Include the background image in the collection. Drag the background image in the Panel to designate. Then, remove this image from the collection and create the slide show. I just tried and it works, too.

  Have the new Imac 27 "with 3 TB of fusion drive.

  Have CS6 LR etc, but having real problems, installation and update of program ADOBE EVERYTHING including Flash.   I just bought Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Amazon. I could verify my purchase and get an official order number. However, whenever I try to install using the serial number, the installation process stops just before the end and displays this error:

  Found a solution that worked for me.

  Run-> regedit.exe

  Navigate to the adobe directory: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe

  Remove the directory Adobe set of registry keys.

  I hope that if anyone has the same problem, this solution will work for them.
