I have a desktop HP Pavilion with Windows-7. When I try to install my iTunes version 10.6.1, program I get a message: "there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your supplier of staff or the package of support ". What should I do?

Problems installing updates for xp service pack 2
I am not able to install xp sp2 on my computer. I have xp home edition, version 5.1 and is running xp sp1. After the update download I get an error message saying it could not read the files (or something like that), I tried to run the update from windows update and the site Ms... or install it. I also followed the instructions on the tech support site where he suggested I had a few missing files... did and does still not can not... someone please help me... I recently bought a Chinese version of the A2109 and wanted to install the US firmware. Takes place in the mircosd2 firmware (I guess that's the microsd card). Try to repair the Apple Software Update of the programs and features Control Panel, and then reinstall iTunes.

Why my windows freeze and go does not respond when I try to install the msn photo on hotmail download tool?

Things I tried but has not made a difference:

Cannot install updates for Windows 7 SP1
Hello
I tried for awhile now to switch to Windows 10 without luck ( http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-win_upgrade/windows-7-key-not-recognized/9a66ab9a-819a-4285-9461-64e7528db222?tm=1450545430339&auth=1 ). In the end, I decided to reinstall Windows 7 RTM, install all updates and then upgrade to Windows 10.
Unfortunately, I seem to be impossible to install updates for Windows 7 now. Everything was going fine until Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320 installed. After a few mistakes, WU start looking for updates for hours. I've tried everything as suggested here without a bit of luck. In the end, I decided to leave it to search through the night and finally it does find and download updates about 300.
Installation of these updates takes about 4 hours and Windows restarted and tried to configure the new updates, restarted saying once again he could not configure the updates of Windows and it will undo the changes. And it's been like that for over an hour.
So as soon as now I can not even update Windows 7, not to mention the upgrade of Windows 10. Any ideas? I'm sick of the Windows updates, causing problems.
Installation sometimes loads of updates at a time can cause problems. When you access the list of the 300 updates Windows updates to odd day again, deselect all of them and then choose the oldest (for example) 50 and see if they install on their own.
Sometimes do fall off a long list of updates and try to install more small pieces may help them to install.
Is not sure, but its worth a try as a first shot.
(I know what you mean though issues of update.) It makes you wonder what's going on sometimes :-()

I have read many topics and I can't seem to find the same problem I have. I use Windows VISTA Home Premium (32 bit) for awhile and since June 30, 2009, I had bad download and install Windows updates. I installed updates today, but I continue to be invited to run/install updates for Office XP and Office 2002 (currently about 9). I used VISTA and Office 2007 for some time.
