You're mowst welcome Mallik. Sorry to hear that Dell don't did not help you.
Is the system under warranty? If so, according to the information that you have posted, the hard seems to have a problem-
signature of the problem 07: corrupt volume

I can't say for sure, but it seems that the hard drive itself either begins to miss or Windows 7 itself is corrupt according to that entry.
IF you can start safe mode, you can at least save the data on the system for a thumb USB or external hard drive.

It appears that your only recourse would be built in the recovery partition to restore the system with Dell.
BUT, if the hard disk itself fails, you will lose your time.
If the system is still under warranty I would contact Dell and run their diagnostics to verify the health of the hard drive.

    Hi all

I am running Windows 7 and I am currently not able to install a bunch of Windows updates, obtaining the credits, "Code 800 b 0100: windows update encountered an unknown error."

I tried all the suggestions on https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/956702, none has helped.

I ran Windows troubleshooting and got the error code: 0x800736B1.

How can I fix? It seems that there is some random internet companies offering downloads that claim to solve the problem, but I don't know if one of them is trustworthy. I would rather solve this problem using products/patches from Microsoft.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I fixed recently updated, unless by a simple change of registration.

Click Start > run Regedit as administrator > find HKLM\Components > rename the line that reads 'pendingrequired' D_word to "pendingrequired = 1".

On some PCs, you won't find the HKLM\Components.  The registry entry will be under machine Hkey\local > components

  • How to solve the problem with Windows Update on Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium SP1; Module Windows install encounter error 126, impossible to run/scannow sfs or TrustedInstaller. Help, please

    Hello

First of all, thank you in advance for any advice for any help, you can offer.

A week ago I noticed that Windows Update had a backlog of updates (30-40) as I had it value updates but let me choose whether to install them. As I tried to install, I noticed download election for hours but no visible progress in the taskbar and only a few updates installed on restart. Try to check the updates of similar results. I tried a number of solutions suggested here as a tool for troubleshooting Windows Update, but it made that seem to clear my list of updates to uninstall and make sure Windows Update has been under the impression that I had never checked the updates, apparently a worsening of the problem like today no update appeared and I encountered error 8007000D.

I've tried other options like Windows system update readiness tool and tried to run the sfc/scannow System File Checker, but what who would not (cannot start service repair) I grew more and more worried. On recommendation from other forums, I tried also to start TrustedInstaller in command prompt, which does not. Unfortunately, I had run a Disk Defrag and clean-up recently which had been deleted and (unbeknownst to me) my last restore point. The root of the problem seems to be the Windows Modules Installer, which does not start when you are prompted in Services (error 126), something wrong with the registry may. So reluctantly, I tried to perform a repair installation using a downloaded iso, I burned onto a DVD (insured was also Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1). However, even if it doesn't seem to work, it is constantly check for installation updates (unless this is supposed to last several hours?) or if I opt not not to check, it pass the compatibility check and then fail in the second stage (collection of files, settings, and programs). I tried several times, once in offline mode with my disabled (Norton) antivirus and once in clean boot mode.

I don't know what other options I have. I would like to avoid a clean as much as possible installation, because my computer (HP laptop) still seems to operate normally (for the moment) outside the impossibility to install Windows updates (via Windows Update or directly from Microsoft, it seems), but I think it would just leave vulnerable more and more over time. Has anyone else had similar problems and has found a way to solve? I'm not a computer expert so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Try the troubleshooting steps in this link: error message when you start the service installer of Modules of Windows (TrustedInstaller): "system error 126: the specific module could not be found".

  • Get his problem after installing windows update on May 18, 2016

    Original title: updated 18/06/2016

Has anyone else been having sound problems with the new batch of updates? I tried to download the drivers, but that didn't work and now I had to restore my system from the 18th daily. Any ideas on how to identify the update is the cause or what driver I may have missed? My computer is a Dell Latitude E5420, running 64-bit Windows 7 Prof. Any other information needed let me know. Thank you!

    Hello

According to the description, I understand that you are facing the problem in your computer after Windows installation updated May 18, 2016.

Yes, you can view the installed update so that you can identify the updates that are installed in May 18, 2016.

Please follow the steps to see updates history in Windows 7:

    1. Click the Start button.

    2. Then select Control Panel > programs.

    3. And then, under programs and features.

    4. Select view installed updates.

View update installed please check that the update installed in May 18, 2016 and uninstall the update one & check if the sound is working well and find the culprit, update.

Please follow the methods described below to check if it helps:

Method 1: perform a Clean boot and install Windows Update.

If its a major update, I recommend you put the computer in a clean boot state and install it again in order to minimize interference that could cause this noise problem.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

Method 2: uninstall and reinstall the Sound Driver.

    1. Press Windows + X key.
    2. Type devmgmt.msc (to open Device Manager)
    3. Find and select the audio driver.
    4. Right click on the driver.
    5. Uninstall the audio driver.

Windows automatically installs the generic driver, otherwise I recommend you download & install audio driver on the website of the manufacturer to check if it helps.

Hope this information is useful, if the problem persists please write us back with the quick information so that we can help you further.

Previously, McAfee SecurityCenter has been installed on my pc, but it has been replaced by McAfee Total Protectiononce the subscription has expired. [It isunderlining] I remember getting a Norton trial software installed at a given moment, but this has been removed to make room for software McAfee, to ensure that there is no conflict between the programs.

You should have installed McAfee Total Protection before as your McAfee Security Center subscription expires. If you're lucky, the following may solve your problem:

    1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

1B. download the tool McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop:http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. right click on the file that you saved in # 1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    4. now run this triple McAfee fix: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507

[Note that you you already downloaded the removal tool in my # 1 step b above.] You will restart three times: after uninstalling McAfee Total Protection; After you run the removal tool; and then the reinstallation of McAfee Total Protection.]

    5. after reinstalling McAfee Total Protection, manually & repeatedly update the app until you get a prompt "no update more".

    6. for good measure an another Windows update reset (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058), restart once again & test.

  • Problems after Windows Update on Vista wireless

It seems that other people have a similar problem, but I'll post this new...
I've been running Windows Vista Ultimate on my Toshiba laptop for years without any problems.  Earlier this year, I started seeing issues after Windows updates.  The main problem is that after updates Windows, my wireless network is is more noticed and the wireless card (which was installed on the computer, and never had problems before) is not recognized.  I manually installed updated drivers with no luck.  The only thing that has worked is to do a system restore to a point before the updates.  The problem seems to be related to an update in general, I can't uninstall.

I find it extremely ironic that I have no problems with Vista until Windows 7 is launched. First of all, it's the wireless card, then a problem with a driver graphics card (apparently... which seems to be fixed now) and return to the wireless card.  Should I expect to continue to have problems unless I upgrade to Windows 7?  I can't continue to spend half of my day trying to fix my computer after an update that is supposed to fix the errors, but I don't like the feeling that I am forced to upgrade.

    Hi dabaum77,

From your post, it seems that the issue was occurring when Windows updates are installed automatically again even after the restoration of the system and that is why I suggest to restore the system again to a point before the updates and download and install Windows updates manually.

    Access the link below
Follow these steps to disable the automatic updates:

    1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.
    2. in the left pane, click on change settings.
    3. under important updates, choose the option you want.
    4. under recommended updates, select the Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates check box, and then click OK. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Install the updates one by one and check the update is causing the problem to occur. If the problem persists due to a particular update, repeat the process and refrain from settling the problem causing the update to.

You can also check the update problem in Windows Update history.

Follow the steps to check which day caused the issue:

    1. open the control panel (all items view), and click the Windows Update icon.

    2. click on the link to view update history.

    3. to view the details of a single Windows Update-
    (A) select and right-click on a Windows Update list, and then click details.

    (B) click on close when finished.

You can also uninstall the update that is causing the problem to occur, although it is not recommended.

    1. to uninstall a Windows Update, you must go to programs and features. There are several ways to find it. One of the simplest is to use the search box on the start menu.

    2. in the programs and features, click the link updates installed.

    3. after a few seconds, Windows Vista will load the list of installed updates. Scroll down the page until you find the update you want to delete, select it with the mouse and then click on uninstall.

    4. Windows Vista will ask you to confirm that you want to uninstall the update you selected. Click Yes and the uninstall process will begin.

5 depending on the size of the update, the uninstall process may take from several seconds to several minutes.

    6. wait for the window above will disappear and, if necessary, restart your PC. The update is now deleted.
