  I have a problem with the hard drive lenovo z500. Recently, I checked with hdtune pro there 5 or 6 bad sectors, I tried to check with chkdsk, just to be sure and then it says: no error found on the hard drive. Now, I am bit confused should I send my computer laptop to a service provider or not?

  -Try to uninstall Lenovo energy management in your PC under Control Panel / programs

  -Then try to install this Version,

  After Installation and reboot, press on (Fn + F5 / F5) to access wireless setting, then turn on your WiFi and Bluetooth

  I bought a new S12 a bit backward, but recently, I had a problem with it. Earlier today, I was online and I must of clicked on a link that has started with Java for a reason any. Almost instantly my antivirus picked up a threat, she has actually won 51 threats, I did a scan and it found no aNY\ threat. I restarted the computer and that has been the problems began.

  Windows starts fine, but sometimes does not the taskbar. Startup applications but continue to operate. For example I start 'My Computer' but then I can't go to my "My Documents".  And after that it seems to freeze but the mouse cursor can move but nothing really works and I have to force the computer off. Also sometimes when I run Google Chrome a message appears.

  So im thinking the virus messed up the config so I read that perhaps I need to restore the partition. If you could help me with this.

  Hello and welcome...  ITF you are using a program of security as one of them...  Security for freedom and keep updating them... are you on the save side, but its good to save your work (data, music, photos...) at any time on an additional media as FlashThumbDrive USB or an opticaldrive...

  Do not trust a program of security... from time to time, use an external security program to search for viruses or so now...

  Keep your system clear, delete temporary data with a feather duster like cleanprog or ccleaner...

  Disable unnessessary progs ... could accelerate in some cases and prevents freeze/hang up/hick upward

  & If viruses or other malfunctions, its more comfortable to go to a zero & recover your system...

  and like many other programs google chrome is not bugs, what might happen...

  For several days my Lenovo Z500 is a strange problem. When I push the turn on button laptop starts up and shuts down after a few seconds when the windows logo appears. When I push again the button it starts fine with no problems.

  I have a Windows Professional 10, everything was ok for a while and now I don't know how to solve my problem.

  I'm going to enjoy all the ideas.

  I thought to reinstall Windows, but maybe you know the solution to fix it.

  P.S. I have the latest version of the BIOS installed.

  I think I solved the problem.

  Problem has been activated "quick start" in the power settings.

  To turn off the quick start, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the start screen
  2. type po drank directly on the start screen (power buttons short for). It will take you directly to the applet "change what the buttons to" in the search results.
  3. Click on the link "Change settings that are currently unavailable" to put at the disposal of the shutdown options.
  4. Uncheck the enable (active)-quick start .
  5. That's all. Now the quick start feature is disabled.

  Now everything works fine, z500 boots each time correctly with the first run.

  I had real problems with my new Lenovo Z500 on Win8 and the big one at the moment is its inability to keep time. After a reboot, it will keep the time that I stopped him. Then after that it will be adrift. For example, while he was working there, I had a movie on. I checked the time at the end of the film as it must have been was late again according to my laptop that this is only about 30 minutes later.

  This becomes a huge pain. All files have the incorrect date and to have a clock which cannot keep time is next useless.

  On a very old PC I guess that's the CMOS battery on its way, but I only got the laptop a few days! I would probably cancel my warranty replacement anyway.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Do check my laptop about 18 hours after I finally stopped him and that time seems correct. That said, I checked my data and the time settings and synced it on start up. Windows may have cancelled my test!

  I downloaded and installed three drivers. It's the BIOS and positive battery that I believe was the chipset. My memory is a little fuzzy on the third, but the BIOS is more likely to be solved.

  It will stop for a brief moment, just to be sure.
