Problem: My friend gave me a canon powershot s300 (digital camera)-c' was his old man. I took some pictures today and I tried to import them into my windows operating system 7. The device could not even be detected: lack of pilots (?) and I searched high and low for the right driver (?) nothing helps... How can I import those photos? HELLLLLLLP!

W530 problem of Installation of the Nvidia K1000M driver

I have a Thinkpad w530 and us reimage our machines with a standard image for us, so I usually have to make these drivers from scratch. On some of these with optimus, I installed the drivers from the Web site but get a standard vga adapter with an exclamation point and are unable to install. also tried the one from nvidia. Any thoughts? Is there other software that I have to install before hand to make this work or a configuration windows can I change? I am using windows 7 64 bit with 24 GB of RAM.

So, I finally had this resolved after many unsuccessful attempts. Seems that I had to use version 335. xx and the installation itself has failed, I did an update driver for the component and have already told him to use the one in the folder. Problem with new HARD drive and Qosmio Player installation

I hope someone can help, I had my Qosmio for 2 1/2 years now and recently had a problem with the hard drive. I decided to replace the hard drive, because it was the fastest solution. The problem I have now is that I can't receive TV on media center. I tried to install qosmio player at the disk to see if it made any difference, but when I run the provided recovery disc software tells me that there is not enough disk space! The laptop came with a 60G hard drive and the new HARD drive manufactured by the same manufacturer is a 150 GB, can someone help me out with this would be appreciated.

Tecra A4 and Win7 - problems with PCMCIA card driver

I've recently updated my old laptop Tecra A4 - PTA42E - (in great condition however) for Windows 7 and it is now in the best shape ever except for the PCMCIA card. In fact, to have Windows 7 installed I had to rename the pcmcia.sys and pcmcia.inf files during the installation (to .old or .bak) otherwise the new operating system would not start. The same problem has been experienced by many other users Tecra A4 and the solution is available in a number of forums.

Although I use no more than the PCMCIA card slot, I want to fix this for a reason: If, in the future, I need to re - install Windows 7 for some reason any on this laptop, I have to repeat the same process - rename the pcmcia.sys and pcmcia.inf during installation, in addition, the new operating system does not start.

The pcmcia.sys and pcmcia.inf files are part of the Windows System.
This driver isn't provided by laptop manufacturer, but it is a Microsoft internal driver.

Problems with the disk drive - DVD playback

I have a Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit PC with a Samsung SH - S223C DVD, player, which both are a little less than two years. Recently, I started having problems mainly watching DVD and also some problems of installation of video games. When you watch DVDs in Windows Media Center or Media Player, the player is very slow to load the disc, even sometimes not at all. When it's load and play the video may freeze a lot while the drive and fast shipping and rewinding are a nightmare, that nothing is really happening, the picture just freezes. When I upgraded to Win 8 on my pc, I decided to install my copy of Win7 on my computer laptop girls as well as an upgraded HARD drive. As we had all two Dell Inspiron Laptops and his laptop was in use, I installed the new HARD drive in my laptop and proceeded to the installation and updates at my ease.
