We have a problem where our Windows 8.1 image not settled after about 1 week. We can cut out an image with ImageAssist and it works fine. We install and test it on several models with no problems. After about 1 week it start to fail with a blue screen, screens black, or is totally insensitive after the image is applied and the system is restarted.
We are able to create a stable image that lasts longer than a week, but we don't know why some work and others fail. It's very frustrating and adds an additional week to our process which we do not like.
Someone has seen this before, or someone has a solution?
Windows 8.1 fully patched
VMware Workstation 11 & 12
UEFI enabled for the virtual computer
Reference Dell 9020
Dual SSD in RAID 0
32 GB OF RAM
Reference Dell Image Assist 184.108.40.206 (we used previous versions of the same question)
KentImager - thank you very much for the information.
We saw only one instance reported of the symptom that you are experiencing. It is resolved by the resolution referred to in this message 'restoration of images 64-bit issues'. If your W8.1 image is 64-bit, and your USB has not created with the /secureboot switch, maybe that's the problem.
As an aside, in our next version of ImageAssist - the process of creation of USB drive is no longer produced a 32-bit version by default, instead it will automatically create the corresponding version of the operating system detected at the time of production.
Got a new T400s, well worked out of the box.
After about 2 weeks, do not use the camera (of course, I checked, it works when I install everything first) the camera no longer works.
He appears in the Manager of devices, but Skype and other software just to see a black image. The LED on the side, which according to me, shines green when the unit is supposed to be consulted running is no longer.
Installation of the driver and going back in time (recovery point) makes no difference.
I really want to reformat the drive, there are a ton of my files on it...
I contacted local support and they wanted me to come and check the camera themselves.
In preparation, I removed the extra 1 GB of memory (3 GB total) I had installed and tried again just before departing for their labs.
Guess what, that fixed it for me!
It seems that this model has serious problems with asymmetric memory facilities. I installed a 2 GB module and some of the other problems plaguing this unit had disappeared too (VT - D causing disruption of the screen and also occasional freezes).
I have trouble with Gmail because it does not load in the regular version and I have to use html...
or the old clumsy screen. It was uninstalled and reinstalled many times problems malware, and it works very well for about a week, then returned to the problem area. I don't know what to do to solve this other than uninstalling and reinstalling. I ran my malware software and it didn't tell anything.
I'd appreciate any help.
Maybe your program isn't found, no malware scanner is perfect.

This afternoon I had my PC freeze when using iTunes. I tried to restart but got major error messages. I had to use "System Restore" a number of times that to have the machine to restart a version blown upward my wallpaper - no cursor, icons or the ability to use the button start. I finally managed to get back to a point where I still once restored the system but still once stood breathtaking version of the background, however, this time with the slider control. When I right click on customize, it does not open for me to change the resolution.
Can someone help me? I am desperate because it's in the middle of football records and I urgently need my PC in working condition.
Fixed. Corrupt graphics card. Downloaded and installed new drivers.
My laptop Toshiba Satellite A300-07 has only 9 days. When I put the computer laptop, all loaded all software that comes automatically. In the last 5 days or more, whenever I stop my laptop turned on then again once, settings on the desktop keeps on going up to high resolution.
I tried to change the display settings, but due to the huge police, I see even the bottom of the page click on apply or Ok, page opens up to what low resolution setting to high. Only and the page will not go up or down - cannot minimize yet to see the bottom click on. For some reason, last night, after I created the system recovery disk, it is back to normal.
Today, he will not be back to normal at all and can practically use as everything is in hugeeeeee characters.
I have not downloaded (except for msn and yahoo messengers) any software, but what it comes with it that even when autoloaded.
Can someone help me how to fix it?
Update the display driver and the BIOS on the Toshiba site.
Remove any software and the drivers who might be in conflict with the display, for example Dynadock drivers or similar.
Back up your data and perform the recovery.
If it happens again on a new installation of Windows, then its likely to be a hardware problem (the graphics card for example).
I tried to boot into safe mode and other options, but it does not start and it won't start either my drive (says there is a damaged my disk file).
Any ideas on how to get started so that I can remove SP3?
PS - very disappointing that there is a lack of support from Microsoft on this subject - unless you pay £46 - it was caused by their update and I think they should fix it for free!
Please follow the steps below: good luck
Method 4: Use the Recovery Console
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:322756 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756/) how to back up and restore the registry in Windows
If you cannot remove Windows XP SP3 by using one of the previous methods, follow these steps:

I have followed all 7 steps and added suggestions to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems
but none solves the problem. FF40 works after you restart the computer, then don't load/refresh pages (get the circle anti-clockwise spinning gray or blue rotation circle to the right). Every difficulty that I can find on the pages of Firefox support, I tried, but nothing works - including relocation, etc. Help!
P.S. If everything OK, I will very happy also click "solved the problem"!
I worked with the device for a few weeks. About half an hour by adding another token of debugging it lights. Plugged into the charger in the morning and came in the afternoon. Still no light or light screen after now button or by clicking on the button at the top of the unit. Am able to see the unit record system when plugged into PC.
Another thing to remember (suggested by an admin of this site) is to reset the device by pressing the power button for 15 seconds. In any case, the problem seems to be resolved.
No matter what program I run a DVD with (VLC, Windows Media Center) it freezes after a maximum of 10 minutes, this program becomes inadmissible.
I put also t know why this happens, but it would be interesting to know if you could some practical information about your model of laptop.
You have installed all the drivers for your laptop?
You have to clean the DVD player using a microfibre cloth?
Have you updated the BIOS?

I want to create a plugin to change the resolution.
I have to use what plugin?
Already, I have a program to change the resolution of the bitmap data.
I want to give the image of the PS program (is not the standard functionality of Photoshop) using the plugin and return a result.
I can convert the image into bitmap by filter data.
Is it possible to change the resolution as well?
And how can I do?
Or, is it best plugin?
If you just want to change the resolution of the current document you need a plugin Automation type.
Are you want to your plug-in to get called when a user performs the image redimensionnerez order? Your plug-in download current pixels and then return a width/height/resolution changed?
This is not an option for a type of plug-in.
Hi, a few months ago my laptop (Toshiba Satellite L350-235) suddenly turned off. I did all... now the key power key used remove the battery etc, still no joy. So I took it to a repair center who said it might be the motherboard. They said they changed the motherboard, so I got home and once againa few hours is the same so I'll back with her and finally, they said there was something that needed to replace the BIOS.I'm not technical interested so I do not know however it worked once more in the store but once again after about a week, you stop again then after about three weeks to a month it works once again, now its judgment once more. The laptop doesn't have enough for three years. Any help would be appreciated.
Because the problem is related to hardware, I suggest you contact Toshiba they would be better equipped to help you about this malfunction of the equipment. You can contact them at the following link:http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp
Hey there guys :)
My Toshiba laptop has been powered off abrubptly and lit, it's own lately.
When I turn on my computer laptop, everything appears fine, if fully charged battery, AC adapter / CC plugged in etc. However, after about 10 minutes of use, it will be just turn off and make some noise "zoip" or similar. Turn the laptop back on right after work, but I find it only remains on for 4 minutes before doing the same thing. Turn again reduces the time it stays on, sometimes not even go beyond the boot sequence.
However, if I leave it alone for a few hours and come back, he's going to stay for about 10 minutes again, before going through the same process.
I have a warranty, but I am hesitant to take my laptop because I don't want to lose my files.
So I hope that someone here has a solution for my problem :)
Sorry to say, but I think it s a hardware problem. This portable strange behavior seems to be a simple overheating!
The laptop supports thermal protection to prevent the equipment from damage.
If the temperature rises to a higher level, that the laptop stops automatically. It is a fact and nothing unusual in this case.
Especially the fan cleaning helps but sometimes the laptop must be open for a professional cleaning. But beware: I n t recommend opening or removing the case! You lose the warranty!
Maybe an aspiration would make it.
Anyway, you said that you will not lose the data on your HARD drive. Well, I wonder why you n t create a backup of data, you can also remove the HARD drive and connect it via external USB controller on the second PC and can save the files to the other HARD drive.
After this procedure, you must put the HARD drive in the laptop and try to reinstall the operating system.
If this does not help, I would recommend taking the guarantee.
