problem of cs6 Illustrator files for the web conversion

I have designed some simple logos in Illustrator CS6 and convert .ai files to appear on a Web site, but when I use the Save for Web feature and preview the files GIF or PNG - 8s, I created that they are fuzzy and not a pretty good quality, even when seen at actual size. I realize there will be differences between the vector graphics in Illustrator and the images of pixels on a Web site of the office, but these are more that a minimal adjustment - they look out of focus. I'm doing something wrong? I create Illustrator files that are too large or too small? Or am I convert art into GIF or PNG-8 files are the right size or shape? I have searched the forums and the web for a solution, but found nothing on this. Any help would be appreciated.

If you checked one of the optimization options hidden in the window the size of the Image?

Have you considered PNG24 with richer colors?

I had more than 200 created illustrator files. They all have the same dimensions. I wanted an adobe illustrator script that saves all files for the web in jpeg.

Export options must be max.resolution of all files should be increased to 800%.

    I think it's the reasoning

Open a folder with all the files

Save for web each in jpeg format to the quality of resolution and up to 800%

the names of all jpeg files should be the same from these illustrator files (if possible)

As far as I understand your request it is also possible with a simple action in batch mode.

  • problem with opening pdf file of the web browser

I have Acrobat Pro ver 6 and Adobe Reader 9.1 on a computer.  When my user tries to open a pdf file from the web as it gets the following error message:

"Adobe Acrobat/Reader that not running to view the PDF files in a WEb browser.  ADBE Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required.  Quit and try again. »

What also happens is that Acrobat Pro 6 worm opens and nothing is there.

I don't know why he received this message from Reader 9.1 is installed.

One can shed some light on this for me.

This user must have Acrobat and Reader on its system.  I understand that there are problems with having both.

It has also set up so that any PDF opens using Reader 9.1.

    Thank you

Configuration of your PC drive by default for embedded PDFs has become confused, because of multiple solutions of Adobe PDF documents installed on a PC.

    Solution 1:

    Go to start > run

Type regedit, and then click OK.

Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\Adobe\Acrobat\Exe

Make sure that the correct default data value is set to the path where are installed the Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

    The default installation values are:

    "C:\Program 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe Adobe.

    or

"C:\Program Files\adobe\acrobat 6.0\acrobat\Acrobat.exe" (not sure of this path.  Make sure that on your PC)

If Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat is installed.

    Solution 2:

Configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application.

If you use Firefox to browse the web, you can change this setting in Firefox by clicking on:

    Tools > Options

    Click on the "Applications" tab

The first item in the list should be "Adobe Acrobat Document".  In the Action list, click the drop-down arrow and select the application you want to read a PDF file in the web browser.  Click OK and you should be done.

If you use Internet Explorer to view a PDF file, try the steps below.

After you configure Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application, the browser starts the helper application in a separate window and displays PDF files within this window. Acrobat and Adobe Reader both include a preference that allows you to specify the Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application.

To configure Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application:
    Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
    Choose Edition > Preferences.
    Select Internet on the left.
Deselect Display PDF in browser using [Acrobat application], and then click OK.
    Quit Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
The next time you select a link to a PDF file in the browser, a dialog box asking what you want to do with the file. If you select open, the browser opens the PDF file in Acrobat or Adobe Reader (request for assistance); If you select save it on the disk, the browser saves the PDF file on your hard drive.

  • How do I create a small PDF file for the web with fonts embedded in the InDesign files?

How can I actually "convert" my files of 100 pages, produced magazines in InDesign (300 dpi, CMYK, prepress ready images) to PDF size reasonable to publish on the web. I tried "smaller" size of the file in Acrobat, but it does not incorporate the fonts and images are very unclear. I tried printing of high quality, but the file size is too large (100 + MB). Can someone point me in the right direction? My company said I need to get a PDF (below 38 MB) file to the webmaster to display. I asked the administrator of the site - he had no idea of converting to InDesign.  Thank you!

You can start the press or high-quality Print PDF you make when you run the optimizer, as both will be incorporated, fonts and images high resolution. You don't want to have courses for your magazine of font substitution.

If you have converted the images to CMYK before placing them, it matter which two presets you used for the base file, but if it's RGB, high quality print Prest will abandon them this way, which will also result in a smaller file. You can also convert the CMYK to RGB in Acrobat, if necessary. Do this before you re - sample.

  • backup video files for the web?

I got about 20 discs hard stuff firewire.  Recently had a fire, here, with no drastic results, but it scares me.

Is there a safe way to save these readers to the ether?

I understand that different save sets break files into pieces.  I can't imagine how it works for files video and comps.

Anyone had any experience with this?

If it's really important, you might have more luck finding a local storage / archival or some members of the family to another House and store some backup disks with them. I don't think that the storage of online backups is a viable alternative for the amount of data we are talking about. It will cost you a lot of money, you don't get those gigabytes for free anywhere and the downloads are hairy. you are also still at risk of the supplier goes out of business or deleting your files for some reason any. Directly related to fire-related damage, you can also consider a steel tempered light Cabinet / Treasury Board. But as with all the other stuff, it should always weigh the cost against the risk of a fire happening or any other damage that occur... ultimately, it may not be worth and fees, if you cannot deduct as a business investment.

  • Problems of CS3 with the registration for the web and devices

Recently, I had a problem to save my files for the Web and devices and the problem I have is that when I save the file, it registers in a version very very crisp illustration pixelated, I created.  I can easily copy and paste the file from Illustrator into Photoshop and save it like that but I would much rather just save in Illustrator.

I'll get the CS5 package little time, however I was not sure if this problem continues also in CS5.

It should not be a problem in CS 3 either, certainly not in CS5.

    Try this

    PC

    1. quit Illustrator.
    2. rename the AIPrefs file (for example, to AIPrefs.old) user / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS3 Settings(user)folder.
    3. launch Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

Also, here must be a backup of the Web folder as well trash who should also be in the same directory.

    Mac

    1. quit Illustrator.
    2. go to user/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe illustrator CS4 Settings and parameters, the entire record of the trash not only the contents of the folder...
    3. launch Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

Also here must be a backup of the Web folder as well trash who should also be in the same directory

  • Prep file InDesign for the web.

    PSCS5, Mac OS 10.6.4

I need to prepare a book cover created in InDesign display with online sellers (Angus & Roberton, Austraila, and Amazon for beginners). My first attempt and prepare the InD file for the web has failed. No file is available from each provider. Can you help me?

The InD file is 8 "x 8", contains 2 images, 2 vectors of I and PS text. " PS files are set at 350 dpi (by record the print service bureau). The book is intended for the wet press 4 colours. The first set of wet proofs are superb, so I know I'm on the right track with color, related, etc. images management.

My first approach when I tried it prepare for the web was to export the InD file in a JPEG file, open it in PS and save it as a .psd file before making any changes. After you convert the color in RGB, I resize to 3 "x 3" at 72 dpi, then saved as a JPEG file with a new name. "  I think that the resizing and resolutoion is where I was wrong. But I am at a loss for the right way forward and what parameters to use for the image size and resolution.

What is the procedure I should I have followed to prepare the cover over a picture for the web? Here is the image exported in JPEG format at 150 dpi.

    Thanks in advance.

    cover_for_web.jpg

    Toni...

I'm doing print and web and often take a page ID to an image.

    What I do...

    1. Export Indesign to PDF. (Use any standard PDF job option you have, same PDFX1a)
    2. Drag the PDF Photoshop > open 300 PPI and no matter what the dimensions are already present.
    3. If necessary, crop and flatten the image in Photoshop. (PDFx1a will be cropped and flattening will offset any transparency in the PDF file.)
    4. In Photoshop > file > save for Web > dimensions of the input image I need in the box dialog SFW
    5. Click Save.

What's been sent by others is correct. There is no PPP/DPI for the web. The only thing that matters is the width and height. If you want you can test to show you. Create 2 images - one to 100 x 100 pixels and 300ppi and the other to 100 x 100 pixels and 72 dpi. Save the two images for the web, and then open the pictures stored in a browser... they are the same size and look identical.

Export to PDF from ID, you get a crisp, clean the PDF.

By dragging the PDF to PS, you get a purified PS image. If you export a jpg of ID and then save a jpg of PS that you create artifacts due to the re-registration of a compressed format (jpg).

Using save for Web to create the final image all the superfluous image data are robbed and you get a basic, clean and crisp image to the size entry in the SFW.

There are other roads, you can take, but for me this five-step process gives the best results in all cases.

  • Illustrator CS4 - when I save it for the web my vectors are pixelated. Help!

I've recently updated to CS4 (I know, I'm always late), but since when I "save for web" my vectors appear pixelated. It seems worse when I want a transparent background. My pictures are for the web and it won't.

I have read a lot about this and can't seem to fix my problem, but here is what I tried: anti-aliasing is checked, view > preview raster, view > preview overprinting, the object > pixelation and probably a few other things. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be GREATLY appreciated! I have attached a picture so you can see what I mean. I created this schematic in Illustrator CS4 and saved for the web with a transparent background and, as you can see, it seems pixelated everywhere.

  • size of files when saving for the web

'Save for web' sometimes export icon to very small size with size huge file (500Ko), when I take the same image and re - record using "Save for web", I get the small file (1 or 2 KB)

    Why does this happen?

This happens because Photoshop is save the metadata in your PSD and JPG files. You can see that from Photoshop in file Info under the file menu, and then on the tab of raw data you will be able to see usually several lines of metadata information, sometimes thousands, and if you did a lot of manipulations on the file that can add literally MBs to the size of the file. Save for the Web and export as you can delete metadata. Personally, I find it a nuisance more than a useful feature tends to remove metadata from Lightroom, there is a plugin that allows you to select what you want to keep and what to throw away.

    Hope that helps

  • How can I search for files on the Web in CC?

How can I search for files on the Web in CC? I can't find a field or research action.

    Thank you

Search the site of property to https://assets.adobe.com is coming.

For now if you have a "ton of files" you are probably also using the synchronization file that comes with the creative Cloud desktop application. You can search the creative Cloud Files folder on your local computer using the Mac OS X Finder or Windows Explorer.

  • All of the fonts that come with Dreamweaver CS6 are licensed for the use of the web?

All of the fonts that come with Dreamweaver CS6 are licensed for the use of the web?

I also have Creative Suite 5, which I think is delivered with a set of Adobe Fonts. These are all licensed?

A license?  Yes, but not necessarily for the web. Some licenses permit use on paper or images but not the web.

For legal reasons don't assume that you can use any font you want on the web. Fonts are protected by the intellectual property laws in the same way that software is protected against illegal copy, modify or distribute. In other words, an owner of fonts can of course, saying "you can use my font, but you cannot change it, you can not reproduce and you may not distribute." On the web, which is a deal breaker, because you must be able to do all three.

These font families are common to most Windows/Mac systems.

Adobe Edge and TypeKit Web fonts are licensed for use on the web.

  • What is the best export for the web?

What is considered the best export from Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 for the web these days? I know that PNG has the color a bit better than JPEG files. How about SVG?

    What is your recommendation?

    Thank you

For modern websites of today, vectors are now better saved in SVG. As long as you use the last CC 2015, use file > export to create the SVG (which is newer than the file > save under). It will yield a smaller SVG files.

Better, photos are saved in JPEG format.

PNG are not "keep color" better. The JPEG and PNG24 support millions of colors, but a JPEG will be able to compress photographic details better, if you end up with a file of faster loading.

For HTML Email SVG is not appropriate, so I use PNG or GIF instead (whichever is smaller) to the line drawings in general I want to save it as SVG.
